yes, it's never enough merely surviving/managing...
but we also almost never "kill our own cows".
Loosing a job can to be a good start for something new.

Dearest Paulo,

It often takes people to hit the ground bottom completely before they can pick themselves up again. People have potential, and don't see it alot of the time, and sometimes it takes a great philosopher to see it. It is so often, that destruction, breeds creation. I'm glad you've put this story up.. Its just lovely.

Thank you for being.

Beautiful.

A few thoughts come to mind.

New perspective through fresh eyes can reveal hidden treasures.

If you accept the world as you see it now then that is all you will ever see.

Be a dreamer. Never accept things as they are and you will see the fruits of labour that are within reach of every man (and woman).

It always helps to have philosopher handy to throw your old faithful cow over the edge?

Duality helps you to shape the tapestry of your experiences. You have to experience both the good and the bad in order to grow.It gives you a choice.(either to control or to learn).

Everybody has a point where they either decide to sink or swim. I think its probably a good idea to make sure you make the most of everything in your life, not be complacent, so as not to need a "tragedy" to shake you up.
