Is there a tension between “Religiosity” and Spirituality in Paulo's wriitings? I have found Paulo's writtings to be uninhibited by religious limitations and tapping to the spiritual realm There is a huge difference between the two. In his latest offering from his calabash of insight and humble wisdom, The Witch of Portobello, Pauloe displays in an unassuming way the limitations of religiousity. This happens when the Reverend organises marches against “the group” that meets on a weekly basis to drink from Athena's fountain of “being different.”

The subtle message I derived from this is that when we grow beyond the limits of religious fikleness we are able to reach out and share abundant love that is concretised by spiritual maturity, or in Paulo's words, The GodMother.

I think it would be wise, not to seperate religion and spirituality,(for many, spirituality is religion)but instead,I think the world and its religions, could benefit from absorb a little more spirituality into it.
Looking at the world today, one can see that religion helps alot of people both in big issues, and also in everyday life, wich is beautifull.
But there is also alot of injustice, inhumanity, and as we know, killings in the name of religion, still, (havent we gone further??)and so there has been for hundreds of years.
Spirituality is very basic in its free ways of dealing with love and not seeing hate and “fingerpointing” as an option.
And isnt that what the worlds need today?
