what do we gain by living forever? arent we already carrying too much burden of thoughts. We spend too much time over analyzing everything. Only in death r we truly free.

GOD says:

“And I did not Create the jinn and humans except they should worship Me.”
[Noble Quran 51:56]

“(He’s the One) Who has created death and life, so He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;”

As per Islam, we are born to know God (The creator), know who he is. This is the main reason.

I would tell him this- because everybody has a mission which God gave us. like a sheet of music which will be played one day. or like a crayon at your desk which will be used. we don´t know why things are just like now, but I believe one day we will understand why. why we said these words and why we met this person. so we have to be receptive. the reason is love maybe.

We are slaves of Allah and we need to know about it with the Reasoning Power(given to humans alone) He has given us and obey His orders to attain the bliss of the Eternal Life after this temporary,looking-entertaining life of this world.Dear brothers/sisters, who posed the questions and trying to answers these, go to your scriptures or established scientific facts and see what is absolutely correct without any contradictions in the scriptures be it Bible/Quran/Testaments.. or facts of science know about the existence of the Creator of this world and what does He want us to do being on this earth sooner and just dont blindly follow your desires or what your forefathers followed.Reason out and you will up in Islam. Please do it or never will you attain peace having been asked this question. This question is what or had brought many researchers/scientists/atheists/polytheists to step into and accept Islam(submission to Allah alone).

May Allah Guide you to rest in peace with Islam.
Thanks Allah for this opportunity for I have delivered Message of guidance to good deeds

To be truly honest, I do not know.

I don’t know why we have to die.

I do, however, know we have to live. And while we’re alive, we question why we must live and why we have to die. Then if I think about it a little more, I can’t spell question without Quest.

Perhaps therein lies the answer?

If death is the end, then we are born and die so as to preserve continuous life on universe. If there is not a dead-end(my opinion), but death is another path to be taken, then we die so as to be reborn again in another situation. In that case, life is preserved anyway again. And ofcourse the Creator knows the true and the whole reason for creating everything. And there is a reason that He chose us among all beings, to have the consciousness of knowing that someday ,we will experience death. Our logic is not yet that developed so as to be able to explain many things. It continuously grows and it becomes wider.Maybe some day we will be able to give some explanation to the things that now bother us.
The “Incompleteness theoreme” of Kurt Godel is interesting. You might like to have a look at it.
In any case,we must live so as there is no tomorrow.Live our lives in its best.
What are your thoughts on the question Mr.Coelho?
Being a magician, you might have developed logic and spirit to another level, above the known average.
Thank you.

We take birth and live a life then die. This is done in order to let our soul shed the extra baggage it has attained by virtue of deed and desires in previous births. This is all the principle of karma. May be in this way soul will attain the salvation and will become free of this cycle of life and deaths.

Dear Paulo

This question has just triggered a queer feeling, something that i don’t understand clearly. that i don’t see the difference between death and life, that I was never born and will never die. What is this? Maybe it has been long that I have lived or long that I have died I donot know.

I think we are born for only one reason, the undestanding of our existence. If we understand who we really are then we should not die…The meaningless life leads us to death.

we are born because we should be and live for we must. There is nothing to be gleaned from this, as this is nature. Trees, birds and insects follow this rule and so do we. Why fret, for you live only once, and why don’t we make the most of it?

Japanese Haiku poem :

You live only twice; once when you are born,
and once when you look at death in the face

(immortalized by Ian Fleming in his James Bond novel)

Ultimately we seek death but it is in living that we give our lives meaning. We must fear death so that we may appreciate and cherish how special life is, but if we can put this fear out of our minds we can live life to the full. When our time comes we will have found peace with our own being and we will accept death, and only then may we live again.

All those who really wanted to understand the spiritual aspect of life, do get in touch with the teachings of Islam. Listen to scholars like Zakir Naik. And I hope you discover the deeper meaning of life. Allah, our One and only God, has already sent His word, the Quran.
Please do get in touch with the teachings of Islam, and then you can decide for yourself whether you want to accept the truth or live in falsehood. I am not forcing you to do this but yes do it as a personal favour to your own soul.
May Allah grant us all wisdom. Ameen.

We are in our probation state. We are here to prove our worthiness to God being His children. Its a gift from God for us to experience mortal body, He gives us a gift our agency/to choose what we want. It is now our turn to use our agency whether to do good or or to do evil.
Jesus told us that: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:15
During the war in heaven, those who follow Satan were cast out together with Satan out of heaven. They did not have the chance to experience mortal body. The only way they can avenge is to destroy us as well so that we can never go back in the presence of our God, because they know too well the plan of God. Its up to us if we will follow the counsel of our Lord or to the heed of the Devils.

philosophy: everything is impermanent … even our beautiful planet earth, the sun.

ecology: because we reproduce. imagine the overpopulation.

biol evolution: to provide a variety of different individuals for further development/modification of a species.

cultural evolution: to let new ideas develop further & eliminate deleterious theories, ideas. imagine, hitler would have never died …
the power of cultural evolution lies in death, i.e., the development of new ideas, that then gets picked up my the next generation with a new/different understanding for its further growth.

reincarnation: we will not achieve all the “improvements” or things that our path will ask for. dying and continue the path in the next life will provide a different “working” environment to continue. having a chance to look at this all from a different level – hope so :o)

Question: How would u feel if u were suddenly in a place that u don’t even know how u got there or why? To me God created the earth and this life so when ur time is over here u will move to the real life the one according to ur work nd ur beliefs nd there are only two places u can ever be in 1. HEAVEN 2. HELL. maybe some of u may not believe me nd it doesn’t matter coz i’m only trying to send u the message OF GOD and it’s ur choise to believe it or not :)

As per newton’s law, every action has equal reaction. This theory applies in life too. Action is ‘Karma’ or our deeds. Since beginning, when life was created, actions were done but reactions are also to be exhausted. When reactions could not be exhausted in the present life, they are carried forward to next life. It went on becoming complicated as every action effected many lives and reaction resulted in chain reactions to many lives so some times one life is not enough to exhaust all the actions. Hence we are born again to repay the reactions to various people in various forms.

Life is the right of passage to Death… no one has ever come back from death to tell us it is like to die, so our fear of leaving what is known is what is hard…. How are we certain that our birth was not the death of something once wonderful, and that something even more wonderful awaits….

We don’t die. Our body dies, bu we as spiritual beings that we are we do not die. We just forget who we were and our previous life everytime we leave the body – “we” die But now there is a way of remembering everythign we were and did in our previous lifetimes.

Deberíamos no existir?
Que se yo…
El medio de la galleta Oreo es lo que hay, asi que hasta cargo!

Actually we do not “die” in the sense that we understand it with our finite minds. When we “die”, we are born into the next stage of life, into the next world, in a range of infinite worlds of God. The mother’s matrix is the first world in this long journey and we die to that world in order to be born into this and so on. Spiritual progress is infinite like God’s creation. This explanation comes from the Teachings of Baha’u'llah. If you wish to know more about this topic, you may want to visit http://info.bahai.org

…to be reborn again…we live the cycle of rebirth till we attain the state of Nirvana…always do good,be good and think good because it’s your ‘karmas’ or ‘deeds’ that will decide how you’ll live your next birth…so keep on building good ‘karma’….this is Jain Dharma….Only our Body dies…our Soul or ‘Atma’ lives on…it is Eternal and goes on to become ‘Paramatma’ and beyond till we reach that stage where we escape the cycle of birth and rebirth…in this time and age this would take milleniums

questions may rise to your inquiry Mr Pao, like why are we created in this world? who created us etc.? but i believe,to some extent, we could explain life rather than death. for the moment, what we could do is to live life the best way possible. we could only understand life inasmuch as we have lived it..death may come and we will only understand it until we have reached it…

Some people say we live in a world of manifestations.

In our world things happen like waves, start and end,
so that other things come to occupy the same space.

It seems that we are living in this reality too, since we are not different from a plant that germinates, grows and dies.

I am not sure where I came from or where I will go, but I can certainly determine the mental state of my present, making it the happiest possible for me and people around me.

This is all the mystery.
