The answer rests in the question itself. We are born to die and unless we die we probably won't know the reason why we are born. I feel that those who have passed away know the reason behind our birth

Hello, I didn't read all the posts here to this question. But my suggestion to this question is that we as humans over our long or short life creat so much energy just by thinking, loving, suffering, simply by living and someone ABOVE us uses that energy of ours to survive. We humans simply are the source of energy. That's probably why we come to this world and when our energy we can give runs out we are leaving this world...That's my brief understanding about it.

Why are we born if we have to die?

Why do we come if we have to go?

Why do we love if we have to leave?

Questions implies answers. To get an answer to these questions . To get the knowledge which can answer these questions and more.To live through the process .

Then perhaps we transcend...to maybe "come" full circle and scratch our head (or bum ) and ask "hoya.. Whats comin' n going friend!?"

love

the answer lie in the very question. that is called birth only when there is a death. if the one or the other is absent then second one will not be there. hence it will not be called eternity in their absence which we are all in as soul.

Everytime someone asks a question you can say the same thing there is never a correct answer. In other words you cannot please everybody.

I might see an apple purple and you might see it white, an elephant might look frightening to you and to me a tiny mouse - just a different outlook.

'Always look on the bright side of life' - 'your body is your Temple'.

Take good care of it.
With love

From Christian's point of view, the book of Genesis tells us that when God created the first humans—Adam and Eve—he placed them in a well-watered garden called the Garden of Eden. They had perfect health and the prospect of everlasting life. Death was the penalty for sin. (Genesis 2:8-17; Romans 5:12)

First of all, birth and death are mutually dependent since one cannot exist without the other. So it's rather a question of 'Why are we born?' because if we are not born, we do not die and if we are born than we surely have to die.

As to the question 'Why are we born?' I think that it is something that everyone should answer for himself and herself. If one gives an aim to his/her life than that would be the answer to his/her question of why he/she is born. Everyone's idea of this is different so there is not one correct answer; what I believe should be the reason of my birth is not the same as someone else's.

We are born to die,our aim is reproduction.

So we need a environment,to make sex ,and sex is beautiful, this is forcing humans to do sex and it lead to reproduction.

We are but stardust.
We're like stars, which for a short period of time give out light, only to be silenced again.
There is no reason. The question is in this case more important than the answer, wouldn't you think?

I think the answer to that question is simple. Without death, life would have no meaning. This is because the meaning of life, whether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or an Atheist, we can all agree in some way that it is to learn. And to learn, or progress, is to become more like God, the Being of Perfection, Wholeness. God, in whatever form, is that which knows, understand, and masters all. And as human beings, although we will not be able to reach complete perfection/wholeness (in this life), we strive to be like God. I think that death is necessary because it gives us an unknown, and also, a reason to dream and do now, rather than later.

Without death there would be no life - we are each a single cell in an infinite organism that has nothing to do with the fiction we call religion or the mythical beings we call Gods - this is the Universe, we are it's children - we are made of space and time and as long as space and time exist so will we.

Universe/life/God/Existence is perfect and we came into the human world for a special reason. Some of us continue looking for and trying to discover that reason, some others just live and do not know it... but it does not matter, we are a perfect piece of a puzzle and we are here as unique individuals that have a reason to be here.

We born at the time, place and situation we need or the world need. We die when our task, reason to be here or the love or hate we gave is complete or perfect for others. Even if others or we can not understand it. We are present in that little part and moment in life and universe and as nature is perfect, our existence is perfect too. Every year has a spring and winter and we are the same... Some of us are here to teach, to learn, to enjoy, to suffer; some to be remembered for big accomplishments or for little, some of us will stay forever alive in the memory of a homeless we gave a coin or a glass of water... or we will stay alive in the memory of our children and in stories that our family keeps telling the next generations... even if it is just how we used to be when we smiled or how it was our particular way of living life.

Some others will not be never present in the mind of knowledge of other mortals, but will still be alive for our actions, for a poem we wrote or for the gift of joy we gave someone in any particular moment... might be a touching word or a touching hug, was the beggining of inspiration to someone to do a great thing....Also, we live the amount of time necesary to handle with much suffer, much widsom, or much love... we do not live more time than we can handle, all our spirits/souls/feelings are different from individual to individual.

...Or might be... we are just born to see the sky, the rainbows, the sea, the sand, the flowers, to feel the wind on our face... human life is a window to experience beauty but most of the times we get distracted by superflous and human issues so bad that we loose the real meaning of life...we do not work for living, but we live for working...and we always need more things money buys somehow...

So we are here to enjoy and just to live, to take the day as it comes (a 97 year old men told me recently when I asked him) so it can be easy to chew day per day, ... we die...and then...

...and then...will us be alive again in a rose, in other person, or just watching the humanity going and going and living again the same cicle... will us be just resting of the agitated life and sleeping forever, resting just in peace? Will we go to hell or it was hell when we lived stressed, hating, and angry in life? no one knows for certainty... but we live and die because life its a present, "it's box a chocolates"... and as Forrest Gump would say... you never know what you are gonna get... and what happens or do not happen after life is also a present, but that one is a big surprise, is the candy we can have after we eat... is a very misterious and well enveloped gift that we will not open, we will not know what is it, we just can figure it out, every person as he or she thinks it will be...but we will not what it is but when we finish our path in this earth and may be we won[t be able to tell anyone, if it is that something would existed... and while we wait all we have to do is just live, but live with intensity, experiencing, enjoying, learning and sharing with others the little we've found out about what we think life is about...

... but after all this excercise of philosopy or thinking deep, if a child asked me, I guess I just be a little ashamed and I'd ask him: I do not know with that gesture on my shoulders.... he may be disappointed at me as an "must-be-widsom-adult", he may ge confused and afraid of life... or he may try to find the answer by himself as most childrens do :) I think that question is a question many of us can carry during all our existence and that doubt its not bad at all, since that questioning help us find meaning in our lifes. That question generally pops up if we are depressed, sad, or just thinking about life... but it is a starter of very personal and unique answers that will be leading us to our unique personal path... depending on wich answer we though was better or "correct"

The distinctions we see or believe in are false. On the physical level as well as on the spiritual level we all are one. The consciousness is one. We die and we come alive again. This world as we perceive it being humans is just a function of the thought process of the consciousness. We don't really die, we don't really live. We are just complimentary fragments of that consciousness and, our life cycles, destinies, whatever we may call all that is happening in this world, we owe it to that consciousness.

"I am able to eat a whole pan. In the restaurant were I use to go, they don't serve me with dishes. The patron knows me and I am the one and only to whome the diner is served right from the pan. Why should I soil a clean plate when I will eat the whole pan any way?"

because if we born we were born with nothing, and God gives us food, clothes, place to stay and others. so whenever I was born, I was told to find what supposed to be mine from this world in order to survive, and before I die, I have to find what is mine from the next world in order to accomplish what God wants me to do in this world, that is to pray to God. So, living in this world and living in the next world has to be done, how we done it, it is up to you, and it is up to God.
