I’m really glad you and others in this world are helping others withs HIV/AIDS. Peolpe of a high social status can use their power to do alot of good. Charity auctions itself raise alot of money. My dad does them for free all over south africa and last year he was awarded the rotary award of south africa for the amount he raised and his continuous effort. His really brillant i must say and if anyone here needs him to help, just let me know :)
This disease is really horrible. Its so sad how sick peolpe get, and what their lives are reduced to. Even when you meet some of them, their legs are like sticks and you can see that they really suffer. I’ve seen a variety of surgeries, especially on the lungs, where they take out damaged tissue, caused by TB (millions in South Africa die from TB because their immune system is compromised due to HIV/AIDS.) Let me just say, when you see physically what this disease can do inside a body, it really motives one to make a difference. I’ve seen it for myself and i wish to do everything in my power to help them..Not only as research for a cure but also to educate them on prevention. I pray that others will also help and somehow contain the problem until we find a cure. :)
I also read that the kite runner has just been released in Dubai. Have you read it? its absolutely brillant. If anyone hasn’t read it, read it soon!I loved it and i hope that the movie lives up to the book.
