  • Love and relationships are like a quick sand…the more you struggle to get out of it, the more you sink.

Its so easy for everyone these days to utter the three most simple words in the English language and yet they are most oblivious as to what they stand for…”I Love You”..

The words mean so much more than what they seem.English is very funny language, I(me) comes before You(Others). Even in so called “Love”, it is I which is more important than the object of affection.(you).

Does anyone mean when they utter those words to others, looking at the current world, i would sincerely doubt it. Love seems to have become a market place these days, a place of give and take. I will give only so much as against what i receive, nothing more, nothing less.

On the other hand, relationships are work in progress, a thing to be continously worked on. However, there are few people left in the world who would actually take time and effort to nurture and respect the relationship that they are in- be it parents-child,lovers or any other.

But i am optimistic…things will change

  • I rarely uttered those words in my entire life as I don’t really know their meaning…I prefer to say I enjoy your company, I like it when we meet, I miss you when we are apart but to love is something else…I do share all I have with others – I give & dedicate my entire life to others, I hardly ask for antyhing…BUT very rarely I receive in return …this way I am still happy because it means that I am not selfish!
