I know that the road to the destination I want to get to will be rough and longer than I can ever imagine, but it wouldnt matter if it took me 70 years to get to my destination because that means I have had a longer journey and its the journey that matters. Lately, however, I have come to understand that it isn't a matter of whether I take that job or buy that house, go somewhere to convert the heathen but, rather, to learn to live attuned to the movement of the Spirit through my world, and to learn how to follow it. It inevitably takes me to where I need to learn my next lesson, to learn to live more fully, more compassionately, with more empathy, in service to all things, which is my true gift of love.
