I just see it as a lesson of humility. We are not the best creation as we dare to think sometimes, just one more among all. The world wasn’t created for us only, and we aren’t he most important in it.

I’ve got 2 theories:

1. Well, no meal is complete without that extra spice or zest, that last secret ingredient – that what man/woman is in this big meal called world, the spice that makes it interesting and exotic, you can eat the meal without the spices but god what a difference it makes…
2. God did it for himself/herself. Well the way I see it god wanted to create something, he/she did, but was not happy because there was no one around to appreciate this creation, so he/she created man for his/her own vanity…

I feel like being cynical so i will say;
” a day to the Lord is like a thousand years an a thousand years is like a day”
therefore
god made man on the final day so that He could enjoy the whole of creation before man came along and inevitably mucked it all up!!

Question is;
How long do we have, to put it all right again?
