No, I don’t agree. It is all about acceptance. The Warrior of light is not A Warror Of Light if he sees good and evil, struggeling against eachother. Instead he or she must accept that THERE IS Good and Evil in him and that one does not exist without the other, they complement oneanother like Night and Day!

A sword can protect you by warding off blows and trouble, and can be used to disarm an opponent.
A sword can be used to end it all anything that gets in the way can be eliminated.
How can I make dissapear (or control or whatever) that part of my mind who is holding me back in the shadows?
I feel almost all the time something in my Heart … something awful. Something that, sometimes (very often I would say), even doesn’t allow me to breath. I don’t now how to call it … maybe a deep anxiety; and I know that that is a sign telling me that something in me, in my Life, is wrong. Something in the way I think. It’s me (or the awful part of my my mind) the one who is keeping me in the shadows. So, again, how can I Help my True Self? I know I have the power to Help Me but, as I am still in the shadows (I mean, I feel still that awful thing oppressing my Heart), that means that I’m obviously needing some Help.

So … any Idea?

Our thoughts, our beliefs which are only thoughts held onto for a long time, make us judge what we believe to be an angel and what is a devil now.
What we do not know, is how each may be perceived weeks, months or years from now. The seeming devil can wake us up to apreciate moments of joy and beauty, the seeming angel can hypnotise us into believing the false for the real.
Better, perhaps, that we let go of our thoughts and judgements of those outside of ourselves and just ask what we think…….???
The Devil is an angel too…
Angel and devil are opposites, one wouldn’t exist without the other.

God is in the activity of my day: God is the activity of my work; and therefore, it is God, the infinite Wisdom, which is outlining my day’s programme…..All my good flows from the within to the without. The kingdom of God, of wholeness or harmony, is within me; and in the degree of my understanding of that, I can multiply loaves and fishes for all those who are not yet aware of the fact that they are also a law of multiplication. I realise, also, that because God is infinite, my being is infinite, since I and the Father are one. Therefore, in this infinity of being, I include all of God’s good, and because of that infinity, there is no room for error or evil or negation of any sort. Therefore, there are no laws to act upon me.
God is the law unto my being: God is the divine principle of my being; and therefore, that law is a law unto my universe. Nothing outside of me, whether of the past, the present, or the future, can act upon me as law, even for good. Nothing existing in the realm of effect can act me or upon my affairs as law, since God is the only lawgiver. God, the divine Consciousness of my being, the very soul of me, is the only law unto my experience. Therefore, regardless of what the world may call the law of cause and effect, the law of karma; regardless of what the world may call the law of the stars and the planets; none of that is law unto my being, either for good or for evil, since my good is derived from the infinity of my own being, which is God…..
I know that this power of love, which is God, is a law of attraction, and therefore, it can only attract to me those whom I can love, and those who can love me; those whom I can serve, and those who can serve me; since we are one in Christ.
Because God is a universal law of love, only love is expressing through everyone on earth. Therefore, all men, all men throughout the world, not only throughout this world, but throughout what we call the world of those who have passed on and the world of those that have not yet been born - all those become a law of love and of life unto my being.

I wrote this tale yesterday, and I wanted to share it with you all (I’m sorry, it’s a bit too long :)
One day se woke up in the morning to go to work. She had to go to a very important meeting and put up with the provocations and insults of a person that made her explode in anger.
She was sitting on the bed and discovered she had an angel by one side and a devil by the other. She was quiet for a while hearing them talk. The Angel told her he was all that filled her with love, that she may be wrong many times but he, as an angel, was calm (she smiled ¿how many mistakes did she do in the name of love?). The devil said he was every mistake that helped her to learn.
She was not confused, and the devil sighed. She was starting to lose the fear to make a mistake, and the devil’s voice was not harmful anymore, as she knew fear was the real parasite of humanity.

-For once I tried to self-destruct –she said- for that I gave up on taking opportunities and waived to everything heaven was offering me. I said No! to my dreams and everything that made me happy. I started to destroy with my sword and I felt depressed. But then, when I had nothing to lose I started to pray and give thanks. Following my devil’s advices led me to self-destruction, but what saved me was that my soul was on the alert to learn from everything that it happened to me, from everything I was told with words or silently, and the apparent pain from this devil turned into a great lesson. I also learned to see my angel. He looked after me, helping me with his signs, messages… (sometimes on others voices or silences) until I learned the lesson.
-I believe that when the soul wants to learn, processes all the incoming signs and feelings. Love is its way and its goal. I don’t believe there are worse disciples or perfect masters. I believe there are people whose souls wish to improve, not only for themselves, but also for the world, and their heart is put to service of this world. A soul that wants to fly learns from good and evil and there is no mistake that once learned doesn’t turn to a victory.
Alter saying all that, she decided her angel would lead her by the hand and the devil would be her alarm signal. She could either learn without suffering, without hurting herself or to others, or she could suffer the results of a mistake. She knew there was no punishment, just the repetition of the same suffering until she learned the lesson. But she promised to herself to always try the first option and in case of being wrong, not stop learning. She was no more afraid to make a mistake.
- It’s not a matter of angel or devil, she thought, it’s a matter of heart, of purity and humility, and she dressed up, went to work, and met her opponent and after hearing all his provocations, the only thing she could do –after feeling thankful for her devil’s alert signal and the strong hand of her angel – was to smile at him, as he was expecting and angry reaction from her. He turned back to his office thoughtful.
She, with her angel and her devil, won that battle.

Hi everyone, I got a lot from reading everyone’s comments, thanks!
Hmm, anyone sometimes have this lurking uneasiness that something’s gonna go wrong just as everything seems fine & dandy & perfect? I have a complex like this, and I think I sabotage myself a lot. So now I am trying out being blissful in the current moment, planning for the future as best I can, and feeling all the anxiety/sadness/anger/etc. when their time comes.
Went to Melaka during the weekend. Got some serious immigration blues, made a song out of it, and had a hugging-tummy-laughing time with an old friend I haven’t seen in 2 years!! Don’t know why I just told you that. :)

an uncontrolled mind gives raise to many a problems ! medittion, regular has been recommended as a good starting point for it, maybe u should give it a try !
we need to be able to disntiguish between the two, the devil and the angel, how by being increasingly alert to that faint voice from our soul ! one symptom is devil always goes after quick gains while angel may recommend taking some pains for a more lasting gain !

remember you have choices, all ways, we choose
choose to walk away for a while
mentally or physically walk away to do something, think something more enjoyable
and return refreshed and strengthened

I need to find a Good Job. What is a Good Job for me?
Well … I would say that a Good Job is to stay in a place, doing what I like to do, and, at the same time, being able to give my dog a Good Life.
In a sunny country if possible. I mean, I don’t mind the cold, but the sun … I would like to see the sun again. For more than five minutes!!! :).
I like to stay at home, I like when my dog have another Good people and dogs around to play with, I like to travel, learning new languages, I like to eat (and cook), I love to be close to the waters and the wild, I like to see people in the Light, I like to have fun, to learn about photography, I like art and music, and I like Yoga and meditation (I have to Learn). I like to go for nice walks (sometimes cycling, sometimes walking) with my dog and Friends (and also alone), swimming, I like to Enjoy life, to travel (did I already say that I like to travel?). I like to feel Tranquility in my Heart feeling that I have my Home, my Friend, my Family, my Love. I like the Shine in my Eyes, I like my Master, and my God …
If I have forgotten to say something else, is because I am still in the creative proccess :).
I need my Master, my Holy Guardian Angel … to Protect me, to correct me. With Love and Tenderness, of course. With Pity, and Mercy.

hello mr. paulo,
last advent of 2007 was one of the best thing that happened to me. I was almost depressed due to the experienced I have had. I trusted and wanted somebody so much which lost me a huge amount of 400t pesos. Until now I am still paying for the debt that was caused by that person. It was also during this time that I was able to have time to contemplate on the whole thing and was able to pour out my feelings toward our maker. I take a leave of absence from my work and only get out of my house during dawn masses and after that talked a whole lot to him. Fortunately for me I was given a lot of messages through your book the 5th mountain and the warrior of light. It was then that I experienced the presence of the angel and evil in me. A lot of times I could not feel any hatred but pitied the person who made such things to people like me. But 1 day a bad thought came in, it was then that I discovered that the evil want to get my sword of faith. I hope you will always encourage other people and be the messenger of light for us. I hope also that I could personally hear from you through a personal message from you. It will be greatly appreciated and I will be deeply humbled to get a message from you. Regards to your wife a great warrior too.
