warrior of the light is a man like elijah in the fifth mountain or like me.i dont know if im right or wrong but warrior of the light should be a man.a woman can be a warrior but not a warrior of the light. because warrior of the light needs to take enough risk and hard decisions that no woman ever will have that courage to take them.

I totally disagree. We are all unique. A Warrior of Light is female or male and then the part that God has given us.

To me, warrior of light is the one who first believes in himself/herself and has faith in the ‘Light’- God or his (warrior of light’s) work which he is honestly fighting for. He should first respect himself and his job. Then only he can show his respect and honour towards other people genuinely. He should strongly believe in ‘Love’ and ‘Peace’ and should not commit violence…
Perhaps we must all interpret in a way that best suits our personal journey. One thing I have discovered in my search for the path is a heightened sense of ‘feeling’. I am seemingly living large in emotion, and am affected deeply at most things, and can find love most everywhere. (I still have some room to grow here). I have faced a battle recently, well prepared, with full love and great intent, and left the field defeated by a poor decision at a critical time. I wanted to share this with fellow readers, to help me recover, and I am now ready to redirect my energies and re-enter the battle field with a different tack, same emotion, and self forgiveness.

The warrior of light is my heart. In everyday life, we always use our brain. We always think too much. We think about what is right and what is wrong. We calculate every action, we organize our love and make statistics and plans for our everday battles.
The warrior of light inside of us, is he who already knows what is good and what is bad, because he has learned from experience and because he can “feel” and not “calculate” the best actions to perform.
We love with our heart. We fight with our heart. We learn with our heart. This is why, for me, the warrior of light is my heart.

I was just thinking about a good friend of mine who is a true warrior of light and then I came across this link! It made me think about it more… what is a warrior? For me it is someone who never gives up on their dreams, never ever… no matter what. Even if the time is not right for their dream, they will follow the signs and when the moment is right again they will be ready for the next battle to achieve what their heart truly desires. They are brave and courageous and even sometimes if they make a wrong move, they will simply learn from the mistake, alter a little and move onwards and upwards with even more strength.

A warrior of light is for me someone who fights to share the light. And I think he should know that the Good which is done in the darkness will be in the light because it enlights the darkness and the Bad shall remain in the darkness because of its very nature.

The Warrior of Light embraces his/her path with love, but is always mindful of the road while seeking the reward. Never disdaining the simple, because God’s wisdom is foolishness to men.
It is someone who realizes that darkness is the absence of light, not the opposite. It is a person who knows not to judge things as positive or negative, dark or light, love or hate, but at the same time strive to live in, and bring light, love, hope etc. where it is absent.
Warrior of Light.
Someone like you and me.
Trying not to give in, not to give up.
Restless when in combat.
Peaceful after victory or defeat.
Not afraid of being weak or strong.

Dear Seema, sorry for not answering earlier, I’ve been a bit busy and hadn’t read all the answers. The language is galician, something born together with portuguese, but grown up in Spanish territory. What I wrote was just what I thought about Nuno’s words and of course I can translate them:
I think we fight against ourselves, We are the ones that create slavery in this world, we limit or just erase human values for any reason, and when it suits us. The world is the same as always has been (a bit worse thanks to all of us). We evolutionate and the power to limit grows up with us. Freedom starts in oneself and beginning there, we can change what is around us. Small people have also that gift, the power to make changes.

A Warrior of the Light has ridden the high crest and the cold dark of the waves on life’s ocean. The light of her sword seeks to strike balance between differences of the human race for these differences are what make us “one”. She has lived personal loss, war, blood, physical pain, death. A Warrior of the Light? I believe it’s someone who no longer has any fear to shine the light and lead the way. i have to practise my english because i’m from Argentina, i understand (listening and reading)so well, but i forget a lot of gramatical structures (so, please forgive me if i’m using this beautiful language wrong). i’m agree with your words, but i’m afraid that giving short definitions, we are putting limits for all of those wonderfull places that words cans paint in our minds. i believe that leaving our hands free, they can write everything our soul wants to express. and we can waik up a lot of sleepy souls.

There are times when it’s easier to just walk away…
to stop caring… especially when no one seems grateful nor cognizant of your efforts… but as a Warrior of The Light, you stay on, even drag yourself, and discover eventually that yes, it is all part of the movement of life, the rhythm of how one processes the emotional ups and downs that affect our Souls…and then suddenly, everything is alright again… just take a moment to listen to the Soul of the Universe (as Paulo would say)…
for me, a warrior of the light is some one who lives life and loves it, no matter what…

The longer the definition is the less you really understand what is meant. Good definitions are always short. Furthermore giving exactly defintions often destroys the magic of things. But I want to make a trial:
A warrior of the light is someone, who is guided by love (agape) in everything he/she is doing and ready to fight for his/her confessions.
Does this not explain all behaviour of a warrior of the light described in many details above? Or is it too less?

To me – a warrior of light would be one who is guided by the light. I see this light as God’s divine force that manifests as love in the hearts of all living beings. Hence, a warrior of light is someone who always strives to be guided by love in his daily life.
A warrior of light refuses to accept inherited racial and religous prejudices and fights for what he believes in. A warrior of light looks to the light to guide him in his daily existence and always examines his heart to clear away darkness from them.
A warrior of light believes in his personal legend; believes that God has a plan for him and fights for his personal legend with guidance from the divine.

Lately I feel that there is not much debate on this forum – perhaps this is partly due to the new format. Do you agree with me or perhaps it is just me? (quarrelsome ol’ bugger).
I hope that this will change though, because I have really enjoyed many of the discussions here.
My view is that, to make the palette complete – to really bring forth the wonderful structures of the world – we have to paint with some dark colours as well.
Or is a Warrior of Light merely a “light-head” these days? :)

Yagna ! u r right manual of warrior of l is not any code, there are ‘facets’ beyond everything that may be covered there, ultimately it’s a question of writing and reqriting u’r own manual of wol, in any given situation we try to see what our recation is and what should the response of a wol be. u r absolutely right when u say that one must rely on one’s own self and sometimes surrender totally in the hands of others when the self says so !

I suppose Arjuna as it was explained in Bhagavad Gita, the great Indian Holy book, is a good example of a warrior of light. Krishna gives him a very useful manual ( just as good as your). moreover Seva Dharma is an Indian definition of what you call it Personal Dream
