The Quest-ion is : is it a re-Quest or a con-Quest?
I think it is only a Quest.
The sheathed sword represents potential, the unsheathed sword represents opportunities to make choices. The act of making a choice unleashes our experiences which reflect and design (redesign) who we are (individually and collectively).
The quest-ion remains: Is your sword drawn or sheathed? What is the ‘core motivation or intention’…love or fear? Beyond personal responsability, what is the responsabilities to our brethren, given what we know to be happening (social responsability)?
Fear ‘appears’ to dominate, as I believe most people are passive, feigning ignorance (ignorance is bliss). Unfortunately, many swords seem to be sheathed.
Does god help those who help themselves? OR, do we leave it all in gods hands……. ? Does your belief system support unsheathing of the sword? Surely the ‘hero’s of this world believed in action and social responsibility.
The warrior of the light is different than other people, because he/she has this enthusiasm in his/her eyes, this light,
and if there’s something that has to be done he/she does it, no matter what.
If he/she mades up his/her mind, to go certain way, do certain things, he/she should go ahead and do it, even if he/she may fail.
The failure will help him/her on his/her next quest.
Will show him what he/she should avoid, and how to react when something comes up.
He/she may hesitate, be afraid, but he/she cannot go back.
The warrior of the light is not a coward.

the strongest weapon is that which is never requred to be used !!
Another way of expressing it, is that the trick is not to draw it until you have no option but to use it, but before it is too late.
Very difficult. Yet, in this world of illusions, the sword is perhaps the most important weapon, at least to the beginner.

The sword is the wol’s weapon, it is his actions, which state his beliefs and what he represents. The sword is every action of love, love for the world, for humanity, for nature, for himself, for everything around him, visible or invisible..He strives for a better self, so he strives for a better world..The world is him and he is the world..

Lâchant ce corps sans vie, je devinais que toute une armée la poursuivait pressée de venir la tuer. Mais elle restait embusquée attendant le bon moment le regard hautain et le sourire en coin que ses alliés sortent de leurs cachettes afin de tous les exterminer. Même avec un peu de sable dans les yeux, elle combattait ces hommes aux corps robustes et bien entraînés. Levant son épée, elle l’enfonçait dans la première gorge qui se présentait afin de libérer son sang bouillonnant de vengeance et de haine. Même dans la guerre elle était très belle, je pouvais enfin voir ses longs cheveux noirs et bouclés, ses yeux verts foncés qui me plaisais.

sword is action, once a wol is commited to course of action one should complete it fully, even in the ancient art of warfare it was said that sword should not be drawn lightly, the pros and cons should be carefully considered before drawing the sword; once unseathed sword demands respect and that is in fulfilling the action of drawing it. but does it mean that if some ‘new’ light is thown on the situation between drawing the sword and using it, one just ignores it? i would prefer to think not, one can always modify the use depending upon the changing situation right upto the time of use !
the sword can be metaphorical of all those decisions that we people take and once we decide we stick on to….
We use our decisions to the best of r capabilities and put max effort…..
anyways, we don’t even have another option….
