Sometimes Evil pursues the Warrior of Light, and when it does, he calmly invites it into his tent.

False He banishes it or transform it in Live in order to discuss or to dispute.

Yes, i believe it too, that the wol invites Evil into his tent..He is not afraid of its presence. In fact, if i could speak for myself, i d say i dare it.
Generally, i believe that Evil comes in your way so as to stop you from a ‘better you’. if you are not calm you make wrong choices, so better be calm!!! i must admit that the times i m not calm i make the worst choices. But the wol is not afraid of any mistakes he might make, or wrong decisions. Because they are a piece of himself too….

Yes, we cannot ignore when something evil shows up.
We have to deal with it immediately.

Everything can be seen from another angle; in the manifestation of all, everything is true.

Let reason defy reason; only in this way you will be able to transcend it.

Hi Paulo, I am goin to take this oportunity, to thank you… Just thank you for your books, I must admit that I am a fan of yours, I have read some and some I still hold in my bookshell waiting to be read. The thing is that your stories and the way you tell them is very easy to understand yet they dont lose any of it´s meaning and deepness… I know some people may critice you for that, I have heard critics that say that you write in a very simple way, and I always say that the Truth is always simple, and in order for a book to be great, i does´nt have to be limited to a few intelectuals that may or may not understand it.

I know that you must get a lot of coments or letters saying things like this but I did not want to pass on te oportunity to say something to you. As you have tought us a lot of things trough your books. Specially for me -El Alquimista- and -Veronica decide morir-…

Well I am glad I have found your blog Paulo, sorry if my comment is too long or hard to read, but I am mexican so normaly I would´ve writen in spanish.

So I wish you greater things and hope to see a new book published soon!

seeing the responses here i unedrstand this phrase from wol better, a wol is not afraid of evil, if he must, he will face it, as annie says mainatining our calm in the face of eveil looks like the key…

AVC - one of the geratest mystics of our times used to compare reason, logic to a prostitue, it has no allaances of its own, if any one remembres Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, one may recall teh charecter of Toohy, the chap who in his college days used to debate from both sides of a topic and win first prize both ways, that is reason.. well like everything else, all powers, reason too is a power which can be used bothways.

perhaps even good things can become evil if they are allowed to play the wrong role. it is us that decides the roles that things in our lives play. so maybe we should invite the thing in question to play a different role in our life. invite it in, to compromise and figure out a way to become beneficial instead of destructive. maybe not?

Est-ce que LOVEVAMPIRELOVE fait la même chose ?
    Extrait :

    Aditya,

Yes, but there are no shortcuts.

It is one to say that everything is true, as a matter of pure theory. It is quite another to actually and fully realize it.

I think that such an insight can only arise from a consistent habit of having applied the sword of reason to any argument, seemingly based upon reason, until it is obvious that everything is the same - that all arguments are arguments within a circle, no matter how appealing they might be to us at a first glance.

In my view, we should not seek to justify our view of the world, but rather to tear it down.
