Mi familia tiene una extraordinaria relación con el Temple. En tu libro “El Peregrino” narras un encuentro con un gruto de templarios en el castillo de Ponferrada. Tengo la intuición de que era mi padre. En mi blog hay fotos suyas y de los demás templarios, tanto en Eunate como en otros sitios, vestidos con su hábito. Te rogaría me dijeras si le reconoces. Observation requires mental dettachment and refraining from judgement. We observe for example during the early stages of meditation the workings of the mind : imeges, thoughts, reflections, bodily sensations such as getting numb legs! Then, the mind is pushed to the side and one simlpy IS…
Learning through observation is the application of the neutral mind, taking everything in first without judgement. Discriminative judgement and action then follows. This is different to being critical and judgemental, which comes out of the positive and the negative mind. Exercising discriminitation in all experience is necessary and desirable for a healthy life in the Light.
According to Dr C. Carter (Rules for being human) others are simply mirror of you. you cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.”
The definition of judgment in the dictionary is the “faculty of being able to make critical distinctions and achieve a balanced viewpoint.”
An “observation is a detailed examination of phenomena prior to analysis.” An “observer” for ex is a person who attends a conference solely to note the proceedings.
I will take the war in Irak as an example
There are people who are “for it”
‘others who are “against it”
and yet others who find it “interesting’
The ones who are for or against it are passing a judgment
the ones who finds it interesting are making an observation (They are not taking a position and do not have an emotional reaction.)

Soudain, je sentais l’agile Shtavïus se déplacer dans la pièce, je me retournais et mon coeur faillit s’arrêter. David devant l’une de mes fenêtres grandes ouvertes flottant dans les airs, tenu par l’invisible hurlait mon prénom et m’implorait de venir le sauver. Je luttais contre l’arrêt cardiaque, comment une telle situation pouvait exister ? Je blêmissais, mais il me fallait l’aider alors, je m’élançais vers mon ami qui ne cessait de s’écrier.
- Vile aides moi, je t’en prie, je sens que je vais partir avec cette chose, Vile vite, ne me laisses pas !
Comme un grand guerrier empli de courage, je fis un pas vers lui et mes un mètre quatre vingt-cinq s’écroulaient sur le sol retenu au mollet par la main de Shtavïus. David fut violemment aspiré par quelqu’un ou quelque chose d’imperceptible et je ne pu que crier mon refus de le voir contre son grès s’envoler.

As a student nurse many years ago in London I was taught that fifty percent of nursing involved observation of the patient.This knowledge is then used in a responsible way.
This is a very simple but basically a very fundamental example.
To who? To what?

With enough Observation one can learn many things…Tania
We constantly learning; through every day experience, through our mistakes, even through sadness.
Sometimes is painfull but still worth it, because we would never move forward, evolve, without it.
Observing the world gives great pleasure, excitement, opens our heart and soul, and of course the mind,
for the unknown.
Besides, the world is so beautiful that it would be a great loss not to enjoy it.

While observing we become aware and gain knowledge, but it is up to each Warrior to use his knowledge in a responsible matter.
