that is true… hatred can extinguish him.. i know this to be true.. as love gives him life, the opposite impact on him has hatred.. though hatred can make you grow, as we have said a week before??, i think it mostly diminishes you, and makes you so small…in feelings, in thoughts, and in actions..
There is an existing balance in the Universe.
WHATEVER WE FEEL OR DO IN LIFE, whether it is:
good or bad, smile or insult, trust or suspiciousness, truth or lie, generosity or greed,
LOVE or HATE,
- IT WILL COME BACK TO US, today or tomorrow, sooner or later, ALWAYS.
Any negative feelings like HATE, are like a plague, or disease that can only destroy ourselves.
That’s why we should never hold on to them even if they come to us.
Hard? maybe, but not impossible.:-)
Like always you are asking us great questions.
Let me tell you that i really enjoy your experiences in the desert and yesterday I was watching your video in Germany about Pirate.
Very impress about you way of seeing things, I have not seen the entire video but finish watching the rest tonight very interesting.
Going buck to the question of the Warrior of the light.
The Warrior of the light know that hatred is not fuel for his or hers soul.
So she/he continue in the battle of exsistence given love and only love, even to those who hurt him.
For a Warrior past experience have show him/her there is only one way to go about things and a Warrior of the linght carry his experiences right beside his sword.
Hatred is for the Warriors that need to find the light within then selfs.
I agree. There are many ways in which hatred enters a person and the ones that make the less sense are hating a large group of people because of an unkind experience with one individual, and hating someone who does no harm but because s/he does something in a different way.
the first time i got rid of hatread / ill will was such an unburdening expereince, it was during a Personal Growth lab by Giri Shankar ( i would always remain indebted to the man !), an excercise to heigtehn our awareness, simple excersise, then summoning all hatread including even minor ones and finally putting it all to imaginary flames,,
since then, the key has remained with me, and me free of hatread.
Do you think it is whether we act on the hatred, to either do someone physical harm or, perhaps just as corrosively, dwell on it, which is the real harm?
Very true, as true peace and unattachment comes from forgiving those who hurt us. But it takes time to learn this skill, as I have learned. It is unbelievable how not forgiving others took over my thoughts, feelings and in the end, my life. Until one die, I realised, I will kill myself and those around me if I don’t forgive and move on.
I have finished reading the Zahir yesterday. What a revelation! I feel like I could burst with all the new things I have learned from the book, all the feelings and thoughts it provoked, and how relevent it is to my life!
Please help me with the following question, I know it might sound stupid, but nevertheless:
How do I, as enthusiastic and interested reader of these books, take what I learn from it and use to the best of my ability to change my life, and outlook on life? There is so much to learn and so much more to apply, and I am so scared that I will leave something behind.
Next stop, Manual of the Warrior of Light. . . I can hardly wait!

if i can just make this happen all the time. i dont hate anybody, i never did..maybe myself, sometimes. is just , i cant find my piece…my demons r hunting me .they r coming and going, marking my mind n my soul…i just want not to think so much ….
Our best teachers can be the ones that hurt us the most ..once we forgive them purely in mind, body ,spirit then you will grow and there will be no blood on your hands because love conquered over hatred..Blessings Tania
Hatred awakens the warrior. No longer seeing a certain person or group of people in the same light. Hatred awakens you to the fact that “they” (certain people) lack morals, are self involved, and immature. Hatred shows you a path or people that you DO NOT NEED in your life. “The awakening.” It’s also everything you DO NOT want to be.
Hola, Paulo.
¿No soy tú error?-
I don’t think of hate as a force or a feeling, but rather as a complete absence of it. To truly hate means to deny your heart of any feeling…. We are what we feel. These emotions are a form of energy that may live on beyond the physical death. They, and most above them all - love, are the fuel for the soul. But when there’s no feeling that can “feed” our existence we seize to be. That’s what hate does. It’s an emptiness that eats up our true existence.
But to add, I believe that actual hate is very rare. What we often call hate are feelings of sadness, anger, depression, stubbornness, bitterness and other states or moods of human heart. All these emotions can be hurtful and ugly and make people do awful things. They can cause enormous pain in life. But unlike hate, pain can teach, transform, strengthen and heal.

Yes, karma sends hatred to our enemies for us.

Do you think it is whether we act on the hatred, to either do someone physical harm or, perhaps just as corrosively, dwell on it, which is the real harm?
I am reminded of a Shakespeare quote:
“Love all,
trust a few,
do harm to none.”
A warrior will respect his enemy to get a
honnest battle

hatred is the result of our own inadequacies and shortcomings. A Warrior of Light will have dealt with this, and thus made space for more Light.

Thanks, Gee. Makes sense and I needed some encouragement! Indeed, it is a very exciting, yet frightening (in a good way) path to embark on.
Grateful,
