Quote of the Day

By Paulo Coelho

Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there.

  • Dear Daphnee,

You have this question because you consider your self, mind and heart as different objects. Unify them and you will get the voice.

  • Ok, Annie, just let’s think about the page!
As for me, I don’t know how to make that kind of, on the web. And Maybe, it’s better to ask Paulo first.
    Tell me what you see.

    Have a great sunday.

    With Love.

  • Wablinska, exactly like you..!! It is like Paulo puts stories and quotes that speak right to us!! at the exact time!!i think was it yesterday? or was it the day before yesterday? Paulo put the story about heaven and hell and on that day i was looking to the songs i write, one of which is called “between heaven and hell”!!! Funny!!cause when i saw in the evening what he put at the blog i was stunned!
i like the idea about the page!

Anlao, every heart is “normal”, not normal with the normality most of us think!! For example, Most of us think that it is normal to work at an office and have a job and return home and make money. I ll tell you what i believe is “normal”, it is doing a job that fulfills you, you can’t wait the next day to come to be inspired in your work, to love what you re doing, to be passionate about that, and be grateful for the love you give at this, and for the love it gives you back!
Hearts don’t respond logically, they speak different language, a language of emotions, of feelings..If your heart tells you that ahead there are battles, let them come..Your heart will protect you and following her you will make all the right choices..
    Love to all of you!

  • Reminds me of The Alchemist and the words that are written there, lighten your heart so it may travel far

  • My heart tells me to run as fast as I can and never look back.

My heart tells me that if I ever want to be sane I must allow myself to become crazy, all the way.

My heart tells me that ahead wait battles greater than the ones I fought so far and damages will follow. My mind has already computed the list…

My heart does not tell me if it’s worth it though. And my mind reminds me that I’ve barely survived the damages so far.

Where are the normal heart messages? “let go”, “have fun”, “steal a kiss, buy a new pair of shoes”, i don’t know, what normal hearts usually say. With messages like the ones I get it’s kind of hard to follow my heart, especially now since I’ve become so good at fighting it.

  • Someone once said to me:
“Home is where the heart is.”
    This is true,
    “because our hearts came form
    the soul of the World,
and one day they will return
    there.” That is my hope.

  • Like you Annie, yesterday, 8:30pm, I had a conversation on msn, with a friend. He wanted to know a woman advice. His questions were so guileless! I answered, but at last I told him, that the best thing he had to do was to follow his heart.
Though, before quitting msn, I changed my quote, for: “Ecoute ton Coeur, Il sait Tout” Means: listen to your Heart, He knows All. I really appreciated the connection.

It would be great to have a page on which we will note the coïncidences about that connection. I don’t know for all of you. But that’s not the first one for me. Well, what about you? It’s just an idea, that comes pointly into my mind. That would be funny.

Thanks Paulo. Have a beautiful day.

  • if someone asks me an advice, i say “do what your heart says..”and they say “but that’s madness. That’s why we have our minds ..to think and act logically”..if only our heart was our mind….

  • “A Warrior of light” always have these two beautiful words associated with him “In Making”. Everything happening in his life, including acceptances and denials are somehow contributing as elemental ingredients of HIS MAKING. Even his dreams are playing significant roles in his making. Confusions are paving hurdles to make him strong, elders are choosing his path to make him refute and walk on a path of his choice. His choice is showing him different shades of happiness and melancholy so as to make him familiar with different colors of success and failures. A Warrior of light like you and me is always ‘IN MAKING’

  • The question that pops into my mind when I read this quote is ” how do I get my heart to speak to me?”
