Quote of the Day

by Paulo Coelho on February 25, 2008

By Paulo Coelho

What are the three conditions for conversing with one’s angel? “Break a pact. Accept forgiveness. And make a bet.” And, in addition to those three things, courage is needed. A woman’s courage, not a man’s.
(The Valkyries)

Today I have made a pact: to stop abusing. Abusing myself and others it does not achieve anything, the only one I am hurting is myself.
To accept forgiveness. I have forgiven the person that abused me even though I don’t understand what got onto him on that day.
I made a bet : de mettre ma “Voix en veilleuse” and to listen to my inner voice instead, I know that when I listen to it anything can happen. To concentrate on my breathing, I worked out that it is an essential part of my well being. I can do it even thought it is only for a few minutes, I dont have to stop and think now, it is “breathe in” stomach pointing out, breathe out, all in. Hi Hi Hi
Have a nice day .

Dear Paulo,

do you remember the fear when the “flashing” light appeared next to you?

I think it’s best to let others live their own lives. Move forward without knowing who your enemies are… with the peace of mind they will get what’s coming to them. “They will get what’s coming to them.” Cowardice in enemies… just move forward with great confidence, “They will get what’s coming to them.” Then, be thankful. Without them you would never have experienced how truly aweful people can be. You sometimes have to meet a malice and deeply insecure person to be more appreciative of the trustworthy and confident ones in yourlife. Thank them for reminding you of the difference. Then move forward & repeat, “they will get what’s coming to them.” Karma, I’m lovin’it! :)

To the one trying to walk a straight path, the line between the right hand side and the left hand side appears very thin.

Good Day Sir!

I’m Neil Anthony Rusia from the Philippines.I wanted to make this opportunity of expressing my feelings.I totally admired the way you write.I just read your book “Eleven minutes”.I’ve heard that this was the daring book you’ve written.Actuall,I borrowed this from my classmate and I loved reading it.I admire the way you tied up two contrasting elements. You’re amazing.I know that you are a very busy person but I hope you’ll have time to read my comment. You are a genius. While I was reading your website,I tried to check what Paulo Institute was,as one of the links.I more admired seeing that you are helping other people, too. You have a golden heart and thank God I’ve known you even in just some of your novels.

Actually,11 minutes was still the first novel I read.I haven’t read “The Alchemist” and your other books because we don’t have bookstore in our place. And the book is expensive if I’ll buy in another place.I’m also interested in reading “The Witch of Portobello” and “The Fifth Mountain”.

Until here Mr.Coelho.It is an honor reading your novel.God Bless.

This was a great quote……helped me today. Thank you!!!!!

We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path. – Paulo Coelho

What makes us count the stars?
What makes us go where no one wants to?
Follow the stars,
go to the end
see…
the fire.

This is ….so fascinating!

I remember reading this book, so.. exciting.

Break a pact… with whatever held you from becoming…a free person…?

Accept forgiveness…because it is in forgiving when you….become free….?

Make a bet….hmm….that whatever happens…you will not abandon your path….?

It takes a woman’s courage…because only a woman can feel it with all her senses, with her… heart.
???

lots of love
Agnieszka

When you fear something, learn as much about it as you can, that’s courage! (a mother to her child)
