Quote of the Day

By Paulo Coelho

The Signs – at times imperceptible, at others very clear – are all around us.
But they require careful interpretation if they are to be transformed into a road map.

I think interpretation is an art that takes many years to develop. We have to be patient and let the answers unfold. When they do unfold if you were awake to the signs your heart will tell you and you will know you have found clarity.

Aditya,

I think once you start noticing its important to start interpreting. It makes you think about things, how you can improve or if you even want to. I don’t expect Paulo to actually answer anything, i don’t even know if he reads this stuff, and truthfully it doesn’t really bother me that much. I am who i am, and i will continue to include him out of respect for this blog, and well, curiousity. I have no expection of him, though i have now become far more attached to the people on this blog. I admire their input and appreciate them- including you :)

Lots of love
Yajna

…and there is the great temptation to interprete them according your wishes and not realize what they really want to tell us.

Keeping an open mind and been more aware of your environment is what will reveal those signs to you. Sometimes it hits you right in the face and you don’t even see the significance of the moment until later. Something else happens (could be sometime later) and for some reason you’re reminded of the previous incident, then I say it was a sign. Not all signs appeared to you to be “transformed into your road map” sometimes the signs are warnings to turn to a different path. At the end of each day allow yourself some quiet time and things that you didn’t even take notice of when it was happening will be revealed to you as a sign.

When trying to answer the question whether seeing too much into something or not, I usually end up with even more questionmarks and one conclusion; that there is no exact answer to it. Inherent to following sings is overcoming a period of time in which nothing can be proven in one direction or another.
Are you interpretating it right?
Are you interpretating it wrong?
Question is whether we dare to surrender to a magic song where words never will be able to completely answer the question, only our hearts can…

Love,
Vicky

Yagna,

expecting answers from paulo is futile, fame does that to you. anyway. i too was wondering how to interpret signs, well i have begun by first just noticing as much as i can, in my present, noticing and leaving, not interpreting; but paulo says interpretation is important, … let’ see, in good time as tania says.

I just had another thought about these sign interpretations ,Yes they are crystal clear when you get them ,and they all require time ,patience to form a map or message but usually as they say all in good time ..Blessings Tania

I trust all signs given and interept them by intuition and of course our hearts are our best way of reading the road map ..and saying thank you for all that is given to you ..and give instant obedience to thy will .You know when you see dates, words and songs what is being said ..or when a person comes into your life..And you have to be intuitive and trusting when you recieve them back ..Blessings Tania

My heart tells me I love each one of my projects, but I’m questionning too longly.
In fact, I just have to chose an order of making, but do and feel.

Merci.

Signs are the letters of an open book that you can read.

First of all you have to learn how to read it.
Then, with the time you can learn to understand it.

I have just finished your book, The Pilgimage. I am working on a series of paintings called Finding A Path. Your book has been sitting on my bookshelf for years and for some good reason I finally picked it up and read it. My paintings are a similar journey, though they do not take me so physically far from home. The paintings and my teaching is about noticing – about seeing – more clearly and more fully. Thank you for your writing.

Sometimes indeed, things are not evident, even when they are manifesting.
Interpretation is the most difficult as for me.
It seems there’s not special horse to get on. But it may be.

As a example, I decided to quit with a project last week, and today, I heard end see things that come back to it.
Is this that my heart don’t relly want to let it go, or Universe that show me I chose the wrong way?

Hmmm…yes

The heart is the best interpreter, if you know how to listen….

Dearest Paulo and friends

I have a question regarding this- how do you know when you are reading too much into things? when do you know when you are interpreting a sign properly or just seeing something ordinary and seeing too much into it, just because you want it so bad? I have been thinking about this for sometime, and i honestly haven’t come up to a stable answer yet. I have however believed in signs and it has brought me a long way :)

Thank you for being
