Bravo! Mr. Paulo Cohelo

My favorite line from the book:
“If there is any possible consolation in the tragedy of losing someone we love very much, its the necessary hope that perhaps it was for the best.”
Just loved the book. I am going to purchase a copy for my very own library! In fact do you have signed copies available in any bookstore in the US? I would love to own a premium edition of this book.

Dear Paulo:
Writing is one of my ambitions which I don’t do it up to now.
Would you mind giving a subject to me for writing as a first step.

And the winner is… Mr. Paulo Harper Collins! :-) Just kidding! :-)
I am very glad that the initiative of allowing your readers to have access into free online books had a great impact even on important publishing houses!
I believe that it is not easy at all to change people’s mentalities, even if you mean well because there is a trend of stubborness which opposes everything just for the sake of contradiction, without taking into consideration that it can be a win-win situation for both parts… So, congratulations for your achievement and keep doing good things from which we all benefit! :-)
I like Athena, the witch of Portobello and I believe that there is a little of her wisdom and search of inner Self, of Truth in each of us. Athena is me, you, he, she, they, all of us! :-)
Hagia Sofia is revealed when we listen to the song of our hearts, when we are free to feel our inner Light!
But Athena is not really understood by many people, her struggle is with herself first and foremost, because she needs to know who she is, she needs self-respect in order for others to understand and respect her!
I wish she were more courageous and needn’t feel that she has to hide from the rest of the world…
People feel that wearing “masks” protect them but from what? From being vulnerable and hurt? No one can hurt you unless you want to be hurt.
It is very important for each of us to show our real Self, the Spirit, leaving “masks” behind, the illusions of what we have put upon our real personalities. Then we will be really sincere and free, free to open our hearts, to be and give Light simply out of sheer Joy!
Thank you so much, dear Sir, for everything! Just shine now and forever!:-)
Many hugs and appreciation from all my heart,
Carmen Larisa

I believe that this is a real cool surprise for me this morning. I am half way through the book “Like the Flowing River”, this is the first book I am reading of yours. And, I find it really intriguing.
I was just flipping through the last few pages to find more about the other books and this name “The Witch of Portobello” caught my eye. I planned to buy this one this weekend to make a good reading. :) To my surprise, I find it here, online!!
This is the first time I am visiting your site, and I really want to say, that you say things that makes me think lots and inspire me. Thanks!

Has anyone been in a situation where someone else has been saying lies about yourself and hurting you and, for whatever reason, you have had to bear that injustice in silence?
I remember when Paulo wrote about putting a stop on that situation and I wonder how can I do that.
Si fuera legal en estos tiempos, yo ya estaria muerta en la hoguera. And that is not fair.
Thank God I am a lucky woman who has a Good place to Live in the unseen. I am so happy and grateful now that this Good place is going to be manifested in the seen very soon. Today hopefully.

I am collecting your books. And there’s no The Witch of Portobello yet here in our country and some other books like Brida and Maktub. I don’t know why, but I hope there will be one soon. The only book I haven’t bought is The Zahir. But I have read it though. This is a great opportunity for me to read your book online! I am such a big fan. And some of my friends too! Anyway, thank you so much for posting this one and I am hoping you’ll write more books!

Dear Paulo,
All I wanted to say is - this is a great gift for those people who don’t have the money, but they love Your books.
Those who have, they will buy it anyway, because it’s so nice to have it by your side, especially if you love books.
Thank You - You are the greatest!

Dearest Paulo,
I have have read Eleven Minutes, The Alchemist, The Witch of Portebello, Veronica decides to die and will read all the remaining one also as I have learned the biggest lesson of life, “Start Dreaming and turn pages to move ahead with clear vision and high hopes. What ever ill happens, makes you much more stronger and just move ahead with high hopes. Hopefully one day dream will come true”.
I have really become a big fan of you because you venture places and write true stories, helping us to find ourselves which is the biggest discover we can make in this work. Its really very hard to know our potential within u.
Again Thank You,

REcently, I won an Award , the Award to Freedom.
I got rid of my old cassette recorder that was repeating the same old thing over and over. I decided to upgrade it with the latest C.D. player.
I can say I am hearing sound I had never heard before. It is the “Bang and Olufsen” of the Universe’s type - one of a kind - that connects you with my inner-self and the Universe.
I highly recommend it.
Now that I am better equiped, I started investigating things.
I knew we all had scars from our past, so I made several trips down Memory Lane. It was hard work - boy oh boy - really hard. I could not get a grip on it for quite some time, let me tell you. The homework keep pouring in - still nothing - I made several attempts and gave up for a while.
I came back to it - still not much progress - I thought I learned the lesson and sure enough, another carrot was dangling in front of my eyes.
At one stage, I was in detention almost every day.
Then a Breakthrough - I CHOSE to do things differently and started exploring my inner-self. I found the idea of spending time with myself quite attractive.
I decided to give it a go (after all, I am spending my life with myself, so I might as well spend it in a pleasant way.
more to come in a few days, it is a perfect day, enjoying the moment, I am dreaming with my eyes wide open………

Dearest Paulo and friends,
Truthfully all your books and thousands of many ofther authors has been online for a while.. i’ve had many of them years ago on my pc, i think if you were a geek enough you could find them easily :)
However i don’t know of any other author who achknowledges his books been distributed on the internet, and encourages it. I’m a classic case of what you mean though- i started reading a veronika decides to die off a pdf file, and i stopped and loved it so i got hold of the book. I love the feeling of holding a book in my hand, but at the same time, they can be rather expensive if you want to hold every book which is way the ebooks are so great. Furthermore i like having certain books on my phone, likt the alchemist or the prophet.. vertain books that just inspire me when i need them to. I’m very glad that you’ve opened the option to most people here that didn’t what the luxary of knowing where to find these books, or even people who cannot afford to buy them at this moment in time. I’m very glad that your interested in spreading your book’s knowledge.
Thank you for being

This soulful journey of a witch reminds readers that superstition is what is perceived by deeper levels of the mind, like a warning. Our imaginings can easily manipulate us. They do not heal or honor us if they instill us with fear. People who grasp Higher Lews cannot misuse that knowledge. They can’t conceive it.

Thank you Mr. Harper Collins.
