Dearest Paulo and friends,

I know this comment is a rather late, i doubt most of you will even read it, but i'd like to put my little comment in anyway.. I think we must also remember other religions greatly acknowledge the famine side of God, or rather the Goddess, for example, my religion, Hinduism. I've grrown up praying and learning of many of our Goddesses and i suppose thats why when i started learning about other religions such as Christainity, and did discover the female side of it, i didn't see it to drastically out of the ordinary. But my opinion remains, that there are many manifestations of God and many paths. It is up to you, to focus on what you are most comfortable with, and what you love the most. Further more, i have to agree with many of the comments, stating that the newer generations are more open to finding new interpretations of religions and more and more people are starting to think for themselves slowly and searching for what they believe in.

Thank you for being

Dear Leaf,

Just a thought...

for example,
if...by doing something...your child is becoming like...you, does it mean that he/she IS you?
or...
does it mean that you both are alike?
:-)

love
Agnieszka

God said; They have become as gods, having knowledge of good and evil...let them not take of the tree of life also, or they may become like us and live forever; Genesis
I see that when we are all of one mind, one purpose, one love, one understanding, including at one with nature, then yes, heaven is on earth and we are one with god.
God is love, yes?
it is also the lover, the beloved and the loving.
we were made in the image of god....did god have an image already, or were we a 'mental image'?
if we were a 'mental image', then god created for himself an image of himself/herself/it etc....

(We could even still be nothing more than a mental image, a thought, an imagining...just as our own thoughts and imaginings have a 'life of their own' like characters in a book??who really knows?)

...just like we create an image of the world around us, water is water and wine is wine?
no.
Jesus said; ye shall do what I have done and more.
We are called Children of God....when my child is of age, it will have equal status
I'm not trying to argue with anyone,
but back to the original quote I gave,
maybe there's not as much difference/distance between us and god as we're led/choose to believe.
just a thought
sent with love as usual
