Question of the Week

Brida
In Brida, a book of mine that will be published in various countries (from March onwards), I touch on the subject of reincarnation. Of course, theoretically, this goes against the dogmas of my religion (catholicism). But, even in the New Testament, there’s a moment in which Jesus clearly states that old souls reincarnate in new bodies: “But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
What’s your opinion about that?

This book was released on March 3rd.

I am catholic and I believe in Jesus.

I was always fascinated by this thought of reincarnation, and I even wrote some of my thoughts down.
Yes, my religion tells me, that it’s not really exists, that there’s only life after death, etc., although there’s this passage in the Bible, Paulo wrote.
I have my own point of view on that, the modified one.
    :-)
I do believe it exists, it has just different meaning than many of the views of reincarnation.
I think, that God is the Soul of the World, Eternal Love and Light, the Highest Conscious and Highest Good, and …. our souls, belong to this Soul., have conscious, love and light inside, that comes from this Soul.
God gives us will to be good or bad, as we wish, so we can experience bad so much, that we would want to go back to the Good again, to be One with God.
We are separate souls, but One, like DNA - every little particle knows the whole thing about the man, so it can “build” the man from the scratch.
We were One with GOD once, but since our sin, we have a path to go through, to be ONE again.
For me, souls come back to earth to evolve, to become good enough to be as One with GOD, again.
Every soul that comes to earth have a special mission - to help others to become better.
Unfortunately those souls, the moment they’re born, forget what was their mission.
Somewhere inside their conscious all the information is, but it takes time, experience, and love to remember.
During this life on Earth when souls evolve, even if it’s only a little, they get close to LIGHT.
With the moment of death, everything is remembered - what we did, what we didn’t do as we supposed to.
After death souls come back to the Light if they’re good, or stay in this dimension called purgatory or hell.
Only those souls which are good can come back to Earth again, to help.
Others may have chance (purgatory) or not (hell), depends on God’s mercy.
Again on God’s mercy and potential of those souls depends how many chances this soul might have.
For me it’s like one soul is helping the other (which remembers less) to evolve.
The good ones come back to help the “bad” ones or “not good enough” ones, until all the souls are Good again.
Only then we can become ONE with GOD - like the puzzles that create one painting.
Painting of the Divine - LOVE.
    ???
    :-)

    love

    Dear Paulo,
I just realize that I took too much space. I’m sorry.
You can go ahead and cut it down as much as You want.

Didn’t they also ask John the Baptist if he were Elijah?
    How come? If not reincarnation?
    I have chosen to believe that these are indications of reincarnation in the Bible, though when I have tried to discuss such with other Christians, the best I have been offered is a polite;
    that’s not definitive proof.
(why any believer should need definitive proof???)
    there is a growing number of ‘Christians’ who are rapidly moving away from being told what to think, how to think, when to think….the ones who say things like;
yes, I’m a Christian….but i don’t have to go to church to prove it and vice-versa, going to church once a week doesn’t make one a Christian….being one everyday is what ’sorts the sheep from the goats’

There are so many, many, many many!! different Christian establishments, all arguing and back-stabbing each other!! why the *heck* not just decide for myself?
    I think maybe that’s how/why i came up with the Spaceman-god theory
because if you read Genesis and Revelation absolutely literally, it bloody well fits!
But, I daresay, any bible scholar who’s worth his salt, is going to object and say; But you can’t take Genesis nor Revelation literally….
and I’d say; So, you want me to take Jonah, Samson, Moses, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, blah blah etc, absolutely literally, all of it, in fact, except the first and last books?? yeah, okay.
But that doesn’t matter - I’m just a Star Trek freak lol! I’m not trying to persuade people to join my religion and I’m not going to argue with anyone about anything (on a good day…) ESPecially not about Jesus, The Messiah, Prince of Peace,
because I’m not afraid to be wrong
I’m not afraid to be childish
I am afraid I’ve wandered far from the original point!
But that’s two points in one - you know i was not literally afraid…and we all have equal capacity to prove a point, if we put our minds to it, but if that means that too many people are arguing about the bible, then what is the point??
    That’s where I’ve been for the most part, recently, again, as we do;
Okay, God, remind me again, what was the point?
I think I’ll just quietly go back now,
    thank you
    Love
    xxxx

    Dear Leaf,

Maybe the secret of the Bible lies in the diversity of interpretation?

Personally, i believe in reincarnation..to the most part to what Agnieszka wrote..I believe that a soul evolves..And that one soul helps another to reunite with God..I believe that God puts a mission to every soul..though not many fulfill this , because not many follow their Legend-Dream-Purpose in Life..I also believe that God, this Great Love, gives us many many chances to come back to Her/Him..Because She /He loves us all..She/He gives us all the ‘tools’ we need to make it..And i believe, to put it in a childish way, Life is like a video-game..it has many many levels - rounds - stages, and if you win the bad guys you move on to the next one , and so one, evolving, becoming better and better(-a better person- a much more beautiful soul) with much more tools-’weapons’-abilities to fight the bad guys, which you have gained after all the battles you have won, and after all the scars on your soul..if you wont make it, then the bad guys - evil- wins and the other side loses..and it is a loss..(I dont put any responsibility to anyone.. not more than this responsibility we have to ourselves..to be who we are trully are..)
    Love to all of you

Corinthians 15:45 “The first man Adam became a living being;” the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
And Jesus said:”before Abraham I was”.
More other parts of the New testament talk about reincarnation.
Thus, When he talked about the sword to make his disciples understand that Jean-Baptite was Elie reincarnated. As Elie made 450 heads cutted by the sword, Jean-Baptiste had to die beheaded. “He but lives by the sword, will perish by the sword”

If all could believe in reincarnation, a lot of problems should be resolved. As an example, people won’t be racist anymore, as they could have been all colours in anterior lifes. :) It will be a cure for.

Then it’s impossible, to think that Nature would have given us free will to cut off, that Nature would give only one chance to a person that is starving to death at 1 year, while another forgets about it.

It would explain also why some persons seem to be wiser than some others.
Some persons do harm, onto the opposite, and they think all will be forgotten at death’s time. I suggest them to think once it could be not.

Hebrews 9:27 “…as it is appointed unto men once to die, after this the judgment” Our own judgment.

    Apocrypha:
Wisdom 8:19-20 “As a child I was by nature well endowed, and a good soul fell to my lot; or rather, being good, I entered an undefiled body”

“There is so much more I want to tell you.”Jesus

    Gratefully.

I used not no believe in reincarnation. Even when my boyfriend asked me if I believe in it, I said a big no. Now I regret it. I think I blindly believed in what was told in Sunday school and thought that was rational. I think I was also afraid of being a descendant of apes. In my country, reincarnation vaguely meant that we all went through all the lives on this earth like flowers and even ants and of course monkeys. And I did not want to look like monkeys (I like them but I just did not want to look like one) so I denied the idea of reincarnation. But now, it seems everything became upside down. I believe in reincarnation. And I believe in Goddess even though I did not before. Life is funny. Now I think the reason why the church decided to ban (sort of) the idea of reincarnation is to encourage us to focus on the current life. I still wonder what happened to those spirits like Mozart or other great people. Will they be born again and make more beautiful music someday?

  9. 9 Philippe

For me there is no reincarnation. First, it’s clearly stated in the Bible: “There is a death and after that - a Judgment” and, second, because for me the concept of reincarnation don’t fits with the concept of Good and Bad. So, supposing there is a really bad person and that person with all the evil he had done, he finds himself given another chance to become a good one, and another chance, and another chance… just like in the Hinduism. But admitting there is a reincarnation, we have to deny the concept of the Heaven and the Hell, because there will be nobody in the Hell - after a X reincarnations here on earth, we all will be in the Heaven. And accepting that there is a reincarnation only for two, three, four times etc. (depending on the soul)… we are starting imagining what we want. And we could imagine a multitude of beliefs, everyone could create his own beliefs, we can create our own rules, own idols, own golden calfs, own gods, own religions… where we will stop?
Yes, we all have our purpose, our mission, our personal legend, some of us accomplish that purpose, some of us don’t, we have to help others to grow trying to grow ourselves, but I think we have only this time, only this life, no other chance. Life is no a Play Station and unfortunately there is no other coin.

  10. 10 Philippe

Oh, just a rhetoric question I’ve forgot: if there is a reincarnation and a multitude of lives and chances, will the fallen angels, will the Satan have another chance to evolve and try to become good? Isn’t God merciful? Who knows if that poor creature Satan will not become a good one if he have his second (third, fourth, etc) chance?

  11. 11 adrienne

im also a catholic but i love your interpretation in brida wherein lorens told her when the universe was born billions of years ago, every particle still remains until today but kept on transforming.

“we too are stardust” — j. gaarder (sophie’s world)

i like the idea of me having been a part of the ocean, a star, a butterfly, a mushroom, a worm, and a great person from the past. it brings a sense of connection with every thing here in this universe.

most of the time, jesus talks in a very figurative way. although in this case, even the disciples indicated they’ve obviously understood his indication of reincarnation. take the bible literally or not, im sure most catholics would still deny about that subject. but it just feels so comforting to know if one have been a part of jesus too…

    love and hugs,
    adrienne

  12. 12 adrienne

oops! i think there was some grammatical error on my last paragraph hehehe

  13. 13 Cen

The belief of reincarnation does contradict the modern teachings of most Chritianity.
The catch here is that the term “reincarnation” does not apply to Elias the same way. It is used in the same way as the second coming of Jesus.
Elias never died, and therefore was in a way, free to come and go as he pleased.
In the case of Jesus, he needed Elias to “return” to fulfil the prophecy. Whether it was meant by Jesus that John the Baptist was in fact Elias, or a new prophet all together that shared the way of or led by Elias, is a unanswered question.

The fact that Elias came to Jesus on the mountain, and not John the Baptist, shows Elias had not become a whole and new being.

The idea of “second comings” is not a subject of any question in the Christian faith. Christian faith implies that we of flesh and bone from the earth are not burdened to prove ourselves again on earth.

  14. 14 austere

    I’m a hindu,so that simplifies and complicates things. :)

There are traits you bear from birth, things you can do first time but do effortlessly, strangers who feel like family, places in distant lands you must visit, lessons you keep getting in your life until you get them right.

In nature, all energy is conserved, so would the Lord (or Power or whatever you call the source) not use and refine the most precious energy of all?

  15. 15 shail gulhati

When prohpets or a messiah, do not sometimes speak directly about a subject, it doesnt mean they arent subscribing..they may not think the time is right yet, for reasons ..of which they’re the best judge..Jesus , being a knower of eternity, a cosmic gypsy, so to say, definitely knew of reincarnation, its like the Buddha chose not to comment on GOd, but we thought he’s denying God..but he hadnt, he just wanted to direct his disciples into intense self enquiry, that was his method, and,he did precicesly that,..
the moment you speak of in the new testament, was accurately one in which jesus hinted to reincarnation..:)

I have memories from past lives - so of course I believe in reincarnation. These memories is a blessing because they make me understand the importance of “now” and the importance of following your heart.

By expanding, Universe shows us that there is enough room for all our souls to expand - so let’s…

    Bless you,

    Dear Paulo,

I was a Catholic child and grew into a teenager in a Protestant country where God is largely non-existant. As a grown up I´ve been inspired from spiritaual teachings from India and from spiritual traditions from the Indian´s cultures in America. Together with this I also have my own experience, learning from it all. My experience is that reincarnation is a law of inner development that is a natural part of life, just like the laws that we know of and the laws that we do not know of but are yet to discover. I have not read much in the Bible - and I think it has valuable advise as well as editored parts suiting various editors along history.

  18. 18 Annie

Dear Philippe, i guess your saying “Life is no a Play Station and unfortunately there is no other coin.”goes to me..I dont believe that life is a playstation either..neither a playground as you suggest..i just wanted to express the fact of evolving, of the stages that we have to pass through to unite with God again..
    Love to all of you
p.s to your rhetoric question, i believe evil evolves too..And so the role of Satan could be played by different fallen angels..if Satan wanted to go back to God, God would accept him..and every fallen angel…That is what i believe.,.That is Love..The Great Love that God Is

  19. 19 aditya

    well freinds !

a lot of chaps down te ages have been intrigued by this question, whether it’s about reincarnation ? some ’scientific’ studies too have been carried out, without yielding any scitific outcomes. scores of istances of people who calimed to be diffrent person in previous birth have also come to light. In light of all this one thing is almost clear, that reincarnation happens.

Hinduism ‘knew’ this and said as such. Cristianity, officlaly, does not accept it. While hinduism is right as far as ‘facts’ are concerned; it has a teremdous drawback, it makes u laid back, what is the hurry to improve myself, let us remain in sin ( oh so enjoyable they are anyway ), when there are millions of ‘lives’ to correct mysefl. A true knowledge of the fact of reincarnation is difficult to come by, when we hear it from our scriptures, we, as usual draw the convineient menaing and remain lazy ( for a very long time country of Hindus, india became a lazy country, thanks to western influences, we too are becomming more active now )

Chirst, too knew about reincarnation, but he and the church prefered to take the other view, this is the only life u have. Such a stand makes one eger to acopalish whatever one aspires for fast, time is running out !! but this makes one restless and hypersensitive also. Such a stand makes it our responsibility to ‘attain’ in this very life !!

Reincarnation is the truth, but if it makes you a procastrinator, then u have not got it; better remmain in the belief that this is the only life u have.

  20. 20 Tania

A true light is never extinguished in the natural world- and I am sure John the Baptist thought this …Blessings Love and Light Tania

  21. 21 Agnieszka

    Dear Philippe & Cen,

For me as I wrote before, the secret of the Bible lies in the diversity of interpretation.
That’s why there always will be unanswered questions.

Regarding Satan’s second chance, I agree with Annie, to some extend.
I believe that God being the Greatest Good and the Greatest Love, if…only if…Satan would repent…God would accept him.
If he wouldn’t then there won’t be a second, third, fourth chance, etc., and same with others,
if someone is really, really bad, dies…and he/she never repents before God then…there won’t be any other chances given.
For me reincarnation is only for the souls that evolve, if only a little, towards the Light, towards God.
It’s like footsteps taken on the path to this Greatest Goodness, Greatest Love, but… you have to walk the walk, you have to move forward, hesitating sometimes…maybe…but in the end of this life you should become at least slightly better than before.
Or if not, when the day of your death comes…
feel this remorse inside, the real one, of course,…and…God will know.
And I believe….if there’s love inside the soul, inside the heart,… real, pure love….nobody will be rejected.

    love
    Agnieszka

Why then, please, did the crowd ask John the Baptist if he were Elijah?
And how did Elijah’s spirit rest in double portion on the faithful Elisha…..don’t say this is metaphorical, Plllease.

    Cen,

“Christian faith implies that we of flesh and bone from the earth are not burdened to prove ourselves again on earth.”

Really? Just passing to write you that.

John 3:3 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

    Hello Paulo,

The soul never dies. Therefore, the soul reincarnates in order to evolve.

    Dear Aditya,

I think that Christ would never choose to not be truthful, to hide anything from us.

He is God and God never lies!

For me, again, it is only a matter of interpretation of the Bible, or any other scriptures.

    love
    Agnieszka

  26. 26 Agnieszka

    Dear Wanbliska,

    This passage..

“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

for me…. only means, to be born again to the kingdom of God,
not necessarly born as a human being.
But again it depends on interpretation.:-)

One who is…good and pure at heart, have love inside, can… be born again to live in the kingdom of God.
The one who.. isn’t, will not be born again to see the kingdom of God.

    love
    Agnieszka

Like always, you are brilliant. I am muslim, but I know pretty much about the Bible. My family is catholic. They would never belive that the reincarnation is more than fantasy. But, I have my doubts. I am not sure if in the Bible is spoken about reincarnation, but I know that if we read more carefully, we will find great surprises. In Qur’an, there are some phrases that speak about resuscitation and reincarnation. I am not sure if I must belive it, but I’m expecting to see your conception!

  28. 28 A.V.C.

Does the same energy take on a different forms?

Certainly, the total amount of energy remains constant as far as we can tell. But even though it is the same energy, let’s not forget that the new forms are different from the old ones. Nothing is static. God is going.

Reincarnation to a different plane, is evolution.

  29. 29 Cecilia Portillo

    Saludos

  30. 30 Milou

One of my favorite words ‘Samsara’ is the sanskrit word for reincarnation the continuous cycle of life and death.
The process is one of mystery and subject to many conjectures and even more spins every believe system has its own doctrine on the beginning and the end and it is ultimately a question of faith.
The soul is as a repository of memories and personal history, our spiritual DNA a blue print of our consciousness the essence of who we are I see it as one’s Pandora box.
When leaving our physical aspect behind we carry within the glories and crimes of that existence and progress or regress accordantly ,no unkind word , intention or wrong doing goes unpunished and to this we call karma ,retribution, punishment justice ’cause and effect’ the fundamental law of the universe
Through reflection we make the decision when and how to confront and cleanse the darkness out of our souls, only through enlightenment can we elevate the soul and become one with the creator.
I perceive each reincarnations as a stepping stone in a stairway to heaven and all beings as sparkles trying to ignite a blaze of glory that will unite us all as one, and just maybe to start all over again. Love to all
    Milou

  31. 31 wanbliska

    dear Agnieszka,

To my mind, your interpretation would give: “Noone can be born again unless in the Kingdom of God”.
“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again” could means simply that you have to be born again to have the possibility to see the kingdom.
But you’re right, this is my interpretation. :-)

    Have a great evening.

The day I contemplated re-birth, I understood I was possibly mean in another life. And I thought about the opposite: Gandhi. I understood how compassional we became, when we could agree with that idea. That we can’t judge anyone, as we were probably the same.
But it’s not that easy to stop judgment. A whole work.

    Love.

  32. 32 aditya

    Hi Agni !

I too ‘know’ that God / Christ would not lie to us; but their level of consiousness allows them to see things from such prespective that our common rules need not apply to them ! God is like a mom who may lie to a child to make him/her understand something, for which the child is not otherwise ready.

whether reincarnation is or is not; in either case if we take the meaning that we should not procastrinate, that we should stop being unconsiously lazy then we have taken the right meaning. addressing such questions as life after death, just for curiosity is purpousless as far as I am concerned.

In any case; everyone, every religion asks us to focus on the present ! for one who is focused on the present, all present, now and forever, these questions become irrelevant ! don’t they ?

  33. 33 wanbliska

No they are not. Because you fund your future in present.
As Present doesn’t mean you don’t have to dive in the depths of your soul. Precisely where you are to meet your own ancestor…

And “God” or Jesus speak presently to persons that understand quite good.
Why saying that we are just children that don’t understand? Because people can’t hear the Word, it would be useless to think about it, or there will be no truth?
    Too easy.

I don’t know if the catholic roman church brought me the true words, when we see the horrors it made in the past, like boiling and burning the Christians. But now I can see that reincarnation is a belief anterior to Jesus. And that Jesus himself talked about it in the new testatment, and even people are on to read it, object it. Catholicism is stronger… Vatican with gold chairs and shoes… Pope say it doesn’t exist and everyone follows…

Even when they pass in front of His image, prayers can’t see either Jesus. We have to choose, that is the great Present, and not let some lyers interpret the Word instead of our heart.
I’m not surprised they say: There’s no thruth! But catholic roman church is the truth they followed for years.
And all that world is kneeling in front of false causes.

Some prefer listen to murderers than to question the Inner, even in present. It could be too irrevelant to be face to our own horrors and faults, or death more!
I don’t think we can do in the future or in past. Present is time of action. And action will have impact on future. That’s why we have to meditate and think about it. In many presents if it means to.

Incarnation is a science that some human could understand for long. It may concern all our work on earth. I don’t really think it’s useless to know, even in that second in present.
And finally, it would be a lack of respect to the first sacrified child.

  34. 34 wanbliska

Dangerous is the way when we believe we fought our own shadow.

    Love

  35. 35 aditya

“And action will have impact on future. That’s why we have to meditate and think about it. In many presents if it means to.” ya something like that !! “we have to meditate ” and “think about it” lightly as in contemplation !! thanks wanbliska

  36. 36 wanbliska

    Aditya,

    Thanks for your wisdom. :)

I can feel contemplation is coming when my eyes begin to strench themselves out, while raising their temperature. Then, the big smile.

    Dear Paulo,
I’m so happy to find this blog. I always read your beautiful books, you had write this in “Monte cinco”. Last year you was in Torino and I cannot went there, I hope you will be there this May! Thank you for your words into your books…

    I believe in reincarnation, too!

    Love, Viviana

  38. 38 Petr

I was thinking of my point of view a bit and now, after reading your responses, I’m not sure what could I write as there is too much on my mind. But what I wanted to say is, why we need to know whether there is reincarnation or not? Does it make us more happy? Does it give a new purpose to our lives? Does it make us better people? Shouldn’t we care more about this life and not about the one that “happened” in the past or that one that might happen in the future? Hope you can see what I mean. You people want to do the best for yourself so spent your time searching for reasons and forget the time hasn’t stopped yet, but we should search for the way, not for a reason. I believe that what we need to know comes at the right time. And only then we can understand…
But thank you for that, I found different answer here.
    Have a lovely day!

  39. 39 Agnieszka

    Dear Aditya,

    The truth is ONE.
There are no levels, no rules, no exceptions.
God is the Truth, the Love, the Light.

    and Dear Wanbliska,
Our existence, our life and death depends on God, no one can be born or die without His/Her awareness.

lots of love to you both,
    Agnieszka

  40. 40 wanbliska

    ;) Thank you Paulo,

May you forgive me, for I have bad words about your religion. In fact, it’s just a difference of name, as you might say.
But ofently, I see it differently. How could we forget how the christians were tortured, after Jesus’resurrection, by the Roman?

In the City of who was built the Roman Church?

My Great Great Mother taught me how to read with the new testament and the reader’s digest, and I had no long time, not to read it as a child anymore.

Maybe that’s why I was so involved with Jesus.
All my life had signs with Him, leading to the same question.

No, I can’t say “God”, because we can’t name what can’t be. And that’s the reason why, what can’t be name, can’t be translated in so many languages.
Eventually, I can’t name the name they choose.

This is my grown-up thought. My first feeling when I was six, in font of jesus for the first time, was the same. “Why don’t we bring back him to his house?” “He must be cold” “Why don’t we put out the clouts?” As an example…
Anyway, I was frightened about Church, and did not take that too serious first.
But in Heart occured another plan.

I can say that people that kill Christians, made the inquisition, forced cultures to die under the name of “God, are totally able to change another name into “the Father”, to cut some parts that could not sit their power well.

Even if person created His myth, they did well. Now He exists.

In that time women had not the same brain as men, so they had not the right to vote. They were burnt because they used some part of their brain, the murderers didn’t even know the existence. Or maybe they knew, what is worse.

    And mostly, by now: Matthiew.

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

This can be said to Vaticano II, also today.
it’s a pity for I judge. But for what is created Justice? To let people rule the word in lies?

Cause there is a Truth of Justice. And many great persons passed on our Dear Earth, to witness that justice, is a real enlightened jewel, hidden in heart’s human being.

Anyone can object for centuries and centuries, one day, anyone will have to contemplate through it.

God- Good: Not so much difference…

And we can easily say today, that church brings no pagan experience. The church has been here to condamn all the “GOOD” experiences in life.

Many persons in the church must be Good, but the concept of Vatican, can’t be representative of Jesus. And I don’t really know, whereas people that walk with Jesus would stay or not.

Whenever people encountered Jesus and all His family, it’s because, He wanted too, as the person involved.

Where jesus is, there’s no judgment anymore. So he may smile now, seeing some are engraving the rock, some are sculpting it, others contemplating it. And some eating it, since they have no tooth anymore.

The Temple, He would throw it away, as He did before.

    Tell me I’m blind please.

    Beautiful night & dreams.

Man can “die” and “resource” more time in ONE life.

  42. 42 Carmen Larisa

I was born as an Orthodox Christian but this fact doesn’t stop me to be “curious” about other religions, too, to go beyond dogmas and “-isms” to understand myself and the others better.
I practise meditation classes at Sahaja Yoga and this doesn’t mean that I gave up believing in Jesus Christ, Mother Mary and so on, as I was “accused” by some people who simply can’t understand that God doesn not belong to a certain religion, God simoply is in every religion. On the contrary, now I respect more than ever the projections of the Truth in other religions, cultures, too. We have the freedom to take what is right for our hearts and minds, to accept that there are many aspects, many reflections of the same “mirror.”
There is a story about a man who had several blind children. One day, he told them to clean a big animal, an elephant. Each of them cleaned another part of the elephant. In the end, they started arguing about the looks of the animal. That who clened the trunk said that the respective animal was long and thin, the one who clened the feet said that the animal is heavy and large, the one who cleaned the tusks that the animal is rigid and sharp, the one who clened the tail asid that the animal was covered in hair and so on. Their father heard them quarreling and said to them: all of you are right and wrong at the same time. You tell about what you have experimented each of you, but this is just a part of the whole animal. As your sight is obstructed you cannot see the whole, but you should listen to me and others who see the whole picture of it. The elephant is the sum of all that you described and many more!
This is true for religions, too.
I believe that reincarnation exists, karma is determined by our Ego, as the result of action and response/ consequence is an Universal Law. We evolved from early stages till what we are now. God wants us to be fulfilled, to reach perfection. We have all the potential qualities, but also we have awareness and total freedom.
When someone goes beyond the ordinary “reacting” to everything, when feels absolute joy, then he or she is in God’s Heaven and so, can be freed of the obscure cycle of samsara, reincarnation. When we surrender our Egos to God’s will and love, we are saved from ourselves and anything else cannot harm us anymore, when we identify with Good, Spirit, Light, Love!

May God bless the whole world with Peace, Understanding and Enlightment!
    Lots of love,
    Carmen Larisa

    Dear Wanbliska,

There’s no perfect world, no perfect religion, there are no perfect people, in fact everything is far from perfect.
If you go from that…it could bring you a little bit of peace, I think you need.
Have you seen the movie “Brother Sun & Sister Moon”
    about St. Francis?
See it, if you have a chance, it shows how everything is important in life, even things that we don’t really agree with, or understand.
Why? Because of the variety of people in the world.
Not everybody thinks, feels, or believe the same way, that’s why there have to be different approaches, to reach, to touch, people’s souls.
Tolerance and warmth is what we should spread around, not anger, even if it is justified somehow.
It never helps anyway, it make things worse in fact.
And it brings one more thing, sadness and despair, because there are things that we don’t have a power, or ability to change.

I wish you lots of love and peace,
    <3
    Happy Easter everybody!
    Agnieszka

P.S. Jesus couldn’t change the world around Him, yet He still was spreading love.

    Dear Paulo, Dear Sara,
I believe in reincarnation. Once when I got some’healing’ I suddenly experienced my death in another life. It was very painful emotionally, many tears, and after that I decided not do this ever again, I want to live here and now, I have a good life which I’m very grateful for. But from this experience I got an answer to why I have made some decisions in my life which I cannot explain, but I now fully understand.
    Kindly,
    Carina

    …….
    When there’s darkness around,
    you’re shaking,
you feel life has no sense,
    it’s breaking,
you want to hide from the world,
    be safe,
    it seems everything’s wrong,
    and then…
    awaking..
    you start to walk slowly,
    afraid,
    your heart beats hard,
    but it’s not…
    aching,
    you love life again,
    you smile,
    there was always..
    something..
    here…
    inside,
    God…was
    waiting.
    ……

    Happy Easter Paulo and friends,
lots of love to all of you,
    Agnieszka

    Dear Paulo and all
Yes, I believe the Soul is Eternal and We take on many physical bodies as we evolve thru time
Yes, I have seen my eyes in different incarnations
thru various lifetiems…ANd we go through tiem and learn with each life til we do not need to come back, yet there are those Maters, that coose to come to serve humankind and give their life to the enlightnement of humankind, as Jesus did.
I’m glad to hear there is a new book on this. I will get it
    Blessings of Love and Light
    Cindy

    Dear Agnieszka,

Thank you for your words. Indeed it’s no good spreading anger, you’re right.

As you say there are no perfect people.
So I guess sometimes I’m a bit anger about some things. And anyway, I talked more about anger some people did.

That does not mean my heart don’t have shower. I never had the hubris to be Jesus, nor bouddha.

I’m just a human. And I believe here’s a place I can say what comes to my Heart. Good or less Good.

I don’t believe Bad as something like a beast. A force that would be sitting, only outside of me. Our imagination builds the world we want. And there’s none for me. But on Earth, i can’t escape from certain lies, that tease my heart….
Bad is also sitting inside of me. And I have to talk with also, feinting, fighting.
Then some thoughts seem like to express outside.

Thank you for telling me so anyway. It won’t be vain.

I like to add, Jesus could change the world. I mean someone that can give vision to blind, resurect people from death, and cure more and more, did change the world.
And he was sometimes severe. Loving does not mean we have to accept was in unacceptable for our Heart. My Heart tells me so, Dear. And I follow him.

Truly I regret if what I say hurt a Warrior here, but it’s still what I think.

I could re-live three of my reincarnation:
    One as a mamma bear.
    One as a crucified
    One as a monk
I did nothing to, it happened.

So you see I have things to understand so well. I’m just here thanks to one of my best friend: the “hasard”. It, but knows exactly what It’s doing, at each second.

Love and Light for all of you.

  49. 49 Malcolm R. Campbell

I’ve believed in reincarnation for so many lifetimes that I can no longer recall when I didn’t. Some may suggest that Biblical references are figurative and/or that the church hierarchy felt a need to establish dogma to the contrary. Ah, it matters not, for we must, I think, decide for ourselves and listen to our own hearts on such things before following the testimony of others. I’m looking forward to “Brida” as soon as it become available in the States.

    The Call

Here in the Bright Light of the New Day
The Way is being prepared for the Journey onward
The Veil between the Worlds shimmers
    with a greeting of Glory
As we stand by the River and hear the Flow of Life
    We become the crossing Point
    We are the Prajna Paramitra
The breathe of the Call to end the Illusion
As we lay down our burdons of thoughts
We are beckoned by the Ones who have crossed over
    Prajna Paramitra
The Journey nears the crossing and
    the Heart hears The Call
Soon , Soon the Release will come
For the Time of Now Awakens us
    And calls us on

i believe in reincarnation i believe in tuning into that feeling that one has been here before and there is no longer a fear of being afraid. i love the book brida, a friend brought it back from uk for me as it hadnt being released in australia yet. thank you for releasing it in english.

  52. 52 mariangela

    Beijos,
    Mari Raphael.

  53. 53 Kirsten Arcadio

Well I think the question of karma is an important one, and this is linked to the concept of reincarnation.

There is much that we do not consciously understand about the afterlife, but being aware of our actions and reactions is key - the universe is a mirror. Every single thought and every action we make affects the universe, whether or not our individual consciousness, as we know it today, is reborn as another individual consciousness. Time is probably also an illusion, so our actions and therefore karma, spread backwards and forwards in time.

  54. 54 riya

i have not gone into the depths of the existence of reincarnation…but sometimes…i do enjoy to think of another real life…where we are sleeping and dreaming our present life..isn’t that possible too….just as we dream…the things existing and those not existing…isn’t it possible that our life now ,is a dream too….and when we die..we actually wake up from the dream to the real world we are really living in……i love the way my thoughts wander sometimes.

  55. 55 Albatros

I fear paradise will be boring after some time - maybe exept being commanded as “Angel for very special missions” - this could be interesting. Incarnation could be an exciting adventure I can imagine. However it will be, I hope it will be a good surprise!

  56. 56 Nada
