Reflections of the Warrior of the Light

By Paulo Coelho

Every warrior of the light has been afraid to enter a combat.

Every warrior of the light has betrayed and lied in the past.

Every warrior of the light has lost faith in the future.

Every warrior of the light has trodden a path which was not his own.

Every warrior of the light has suffered because of unimportant things.

Every warrior of the light has doubted that he is a warrior of the light.

Every warrior of the light has failed in his spiritual obligations.

Every warrior of the light has said yes when he meant no.

Every warrior of the light has hurt someone he loved.

That is why he is a warrior of the light:

He has endured all this, and not lost the hope to improve.

True, but he still sometimes asks himself, if he’s schizozid, or if his dream can be true.

    Thank you Paulo.

Every warrior of light knows that there work/dream/legend is what saves them ,changes them and transforms them in to who they are ..
Brave hearts ..who do not settle for anything less than the life that they love and the love that life returns to them ..until then it is a path that the warrior trodes ,suffers ,hurts and also at times fails ,they loose faith ,but never give up and continue the search longing ,hoping that it is more than they ever could connect to .And that is life/spirit ,joy, passion ,communion ..Love of course ..Blessings Tania

Thank you Paulo; I love this. It reminds me of the story in II Corinthians 12:7, when Paul asked God to remove the “thorn in his flesh.” God replied to him, “My grace is enough for you, because My power is made perfect through your weakness.”

I believe that we are here to learn, to “improve” and it is comforting to know that we are allowed to make mistakes along the way. Treading the wrong path or making mistakes is all a part of the learning process. Doubt, yes, but never give up, Love, Paul

Mistakes involves regrets and as there can be no regrets, there must be no mistakes.

The Will must be nothing short of perfect.

If one aspires to the highest (and this is what being a warrior of light implies), there is no room for excuses like “God forgives all”.

In hindsight a detour - from a previously imagined straight line towards the goal - may prove to have been necessary.

Accepting the present, always means that the past was perfect.

    Wonderfully said.
I to write and here is a line from one of my books,” How can one know better or beauty or appreciation or love unless one has known profound sadness.”
Does this not reflect what you are saying?
    Kindest,
    Michael

Every warrior is a human being of flesh and blood with all failings, but he/she does not give up too soon!

    Dearest Paulo and friends,

I think the most i can say, is that this piece gives us hope- that being of light, is very obtainable, even if we feel at times unworthy, or unsure of ourselves. We can do it. Thank you for this, Paulo.
And i agree very much with AVC, but its not always as easy as it seems to accept the past and hence the present. It starts however, by us starting to believe in ourseleves again- that we are worthy of our greatest desires regardless of our ‘mistakes’ and fears.

    Thank you for being
    Yajna
