My unfulfilled desires
One of the favorite questions of the journalists : ” now that you got everything you wanted, do you still have dreams?”
First, I didn’t get everything I wanted, although I got the most important things in life (love, fulfilling my personal legend, faith). Writing is a constant challenge, where you have to dig into your soul, having discipline, inspiration, and courage at the same time.
Second, like everybody else, I have my list of things that I want to do, and are still waiting. I don’t make “New Year’s” resolutions, but there are several unfulfilled tasks. I have enough time (contrary to the legend that famous people are always busy – they are not), I can afford, but I postpone.
Here is my list of things that I would love to do, and I never did. Would you please also share yours?
A]to learn how to dance well (from a 1 to 10 scale, I would say I am 2)
B] to learn how to play guitar ( from the same scale, I am definitely 1)
C] spend three months in a monastery, totally isolated from the world ( I already talked to the abbot three years ago, but I am always postponing)
D] a safari in Africa (politically incorrect, of course)
E] to sponsor a good boxer (I know it sounds politically incorrect, as the previous item, but boxing for me is the ultimate body dialogue)
F] to learn boxing myself
G] being in orbit circling the planet (the Russians are making a business out of it, but I never actually sought the information out)
H] to have dinner with Nelson Mandela (this one I tried, but I did not manage so far)
I] to fly a Mirage (as a passenger, of course)
While writing this list, I realized that I did most of the things I wanted (the most recent being a 9.280 kms train journey from Moscow to Vladivostok, in 2006). And probably I also have some other itens that are so hidden in my heart that I don’t even know. But just in case that I remember some more, I will update this list.
So, what are your “New Year” resolutions that you never ever managed to fulfill?

I’ve always wondered that question, allthough I’m not famous, I think found really fool when a journalist asks that kind of question to a person that that’s famous. In my opinion to be famous not necessarily means that you’ve fulfilled all your live expectancies or dreams. I think that the desire of more is what keeps people going on.
I’m peruvian, one of my most important dreams was to enter to an American University and I did it, that’s one goal achieved.
My list is this:
- To find someone that can discuss in a friendly way of course, about politics, economy, life.
- As I’m very young I’ll like to have a great family, and the enough resources to make them live a confortable life.
- I’ll like to visit Middle East.
- I’ve always dreamed to own a football team.
- And finally to listen live one of my favorite music groups.
Of course those are not all my desires, wishes and dreams, but are the ones that at the moment I remember.
Dearest Paulo
A) You must practise every day by yourself, even when no-one is around, and when you are happy to dance by yourself, you are a ‘Good dancer’. -There is no good or bad there is only relaxed or nervous….let the music flow through you and let your limbs be the instruments which play, let your soul be carried on the air between you and the music playing machine.
C) are you afraid of who you might meet whilst you are by yourself..are you ready for a re-newed Paulo? - I’m sure that if you dance to the abbot or the monastery, then you will embrace the inevitable…or do you not really want to do this one??
D) I didn’t know that a safari in Africa is non PC….and I think a lot of people would love to do that, my daughter included.
E) I totally don’t understand ‘dialogue’ other than that is - I’m gonna pummel you to death! - whatever x
F) You’ll forfeit your looks and your brain capacity after all that pummelling.
G) NASA are onto it also…..one way tickets so I heard.
Do I have any unfulfilled desires??
Other than heaven on earth for all humanity….no.
I live for today and take what comes, with as much enjoyment as I can.
Much Love

Touch every star,
reach the sky,
play with the rainbow up high,
smile through the tears,
dance like a wind..
with the fire..
of your dreams,
fly like a bird,
go to the end,
free every little tiny piece
of your secret…tears,
kiss the heart of the butterfly,
taste the truth of the moon,
feel like nobody can,
love like nobody could,
dance like heaven and hell,
make love with no rules.

Dear Mr. Coelho,
I think your list will be going on and on if you are determined to update them in the future :)
Personally speaking life is too short to try or to do everything I want..By thinking of this, I feel my life is “heavy”..
My current list as blow:-

Hi all,
A lady from Guatemala told me to make a New Years Resolution by writing everything I want down on a yellow sheet of paper. If I did so, and carry the note in my purse all 2008, what I wrote down, will happen. My main resolution for this year is to get a promotion. May I put it like this; My desire is to get a job as i.e. a personal assistant for my favorite author. I would love to meet this person.
I could go on with a long list…
- one night as the chosen one with a sultan in a Persian harem
- learn to belly dance
- attend fashion show with the designer Valentino
- my own walk in closet
- visit a native tribe that never had contact with the civilization before
- become a citizen of more than two countries
- share my life with a group of homeless children
- visit a friend who has a toucan collection
Thanks for getting me going,
Heart
My list would be:
A) Learn japanese and go to live to Japan for a while.
B) Fly an aeroplane.
C) Go to the space.
Sounds that A is the most realiable one ;)
… giving more and helping more to others in need
This QOTW is a little late isn’t it ;-) ?
Like you dear Paulo, I definitely do not make new years resolutions, as this would put even more pressure on me, and anyway I try to live both sensibly & consistently, but…..
- I would like to be able to afford work, NOT for MONEY!
- I too would love to spend (at least) 3 months isolated in a Monastery (to be preceded by a walk to Santiago de Compostella from Vienna, Austria (and back if time would allow)
- I would like to help others to fulfil their dreams, and by doing which, I would fulfil at least one of mine…….by the way Paulo, I can help you to fulfil one of yours, “Circle the Planet”, you know how to reach me…..don’t you!?
- I had to learn boxing as a child and I hated it, I hated hurting and being hurt….(I’m surprised it’s one of your wishes?)
Your (non-boxing) Warrior, Paul
1. To grow my business so that I can live off of it.
2. To be loved in return (I’m over the unrequited drama)
3. To dance to my full capacity without fear.
4. To live the life God would want me to live.
6. To know how to knit and crochet all patterns!
7. To enjoy life fully.
Goodness, I forgot one of my most important unfulfilled desires…
- To have dinner with Paulo Coelho
(guess I should have faith hat it will one day come true :)
Ha, ha – definetely not completed…
1. Complete my book and have it published.
2. Go on a long vacation, prefferebly to an island, and shave of my hair (I’ve got long hair ☺)
3. Take a cab to the airport and get on the first plane I can get a ticket to – i.e not having a clue of where I’m going when leaving home.
4. Go on a pilgrimage.
5. Become an actress and paricipate in a play or a movie.
6. Spend a few weeks in an excellent restaurant with great chefs – to develop my cooking skills.
7. Swim with dolphines together with my children.
8. Go to a yoga retreat in India.
My list, in random order:
- To orbit in space
- Having a black belt in a serious martial art
- Drive a Porsche for a couple of hours
- Build my own watch
- Being an old, respected, kind grandfather
- Learn to play an instrument
- Singing in the opera, touching the audience
Looking for a song-writer (I am thinking of doing a Karaoke’con Padre Pablo y su familia.) Any helper?
-Having a website for my card-making and improving my skills.

Emirates_)
-Learning to dance with my husband
-Going to the Maldives, Egypt
-A bracelet from Fred
-A new wardrobe,
- mystical studies,
etc,etc
I want to do nothing and not feel guilty for doing so
I love your questions. They are always challenging I do not believe that I know all my desires yet and some I dance with for a while but they turn out to be empty. Here are a few that have stayed:
-to learn Spanish and Catalan.
-to see my writing published.
-to create a beautiful garden.
-to be debt free.
-to spend more time in the mediteranean.
-to share my life with someone I love.
but most of all to sing my soul’s song.
As you described, Paolo, in Ëleven Minutes’in the myth of Plato [I am Greek] we once were androgynous creatures, very strong, self-contented, happy..etc. Then we were divided into two.. Since then we spend our lives searching for our other half and feeling lonely and incomplete..My ideal is of feeling peace, love, happiness, joy, to communicate with others with telepathy and being able to feel what others feel..Sometimes this was possible, but instead of solving problems things were more complicated!!Because, we human beings, feel, think and what we can express is usually, far from the Truth. I have a dream of everybody finding his personal path and the lucky may find the other half!! This planet is not a place of happiness, for sure..The Real Life is somewhere else. All my love, Thelma
Unfulfilled desires - my hope is to fulfill some of them before I die.
I would like to hold on my wrist a trained bird of prey.
I would like to visit an indian sweat lodge and meet my totem animal/spirit guide.
I want to visit India, Egypt and Japan.
I want to raise peacocks. I live in a town where they would not be appreciated.
I wish to go on a soul quest, a journey into the unknown to come back knowing.
- I would like to have a small house by the sea in Italy where I could spend a couple of months every year (having Italian food every day!).
- I would like to build a spa in the basement outside my sauna where it’s only cement right now (this far I’ve spent money on everything else except this - my daughter is worried).
- I would like to travel around in China and go sailing in the archipelago of Croatia (and why not Australia).
- I would like to have a dinner party for David Bowie, Barack Obama, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (President of Liberia), Dalai Lama, Lars Åke Gustavsson (Expert on roses) and Paolo, of course.
Seeing/talking with my guardian angels. (I am trying now)
Being mom.
Living in Greece with my family.
Singing like a Nina Simon.
Painting most beautiful picture.
when i think about it all, i have just one desire, that when i am dying and i look back at my life, i don’t want to have the feeling that i did not LIVE. thats what i want to do- live. but most of my time is spent thinking about living, mostly in the future. sometimes i blame my youth for being so undecided. i am 19. maybe too young. maybe not.
i could go on , but i am in the middle of a college lecture, so maybe ill complete this sometime later
. one of my dreams : to meet Mr. paulo coelho :)
A beloved poet of mine, Rumi wrote in the thirteen century a poem which keeps my dreams ablaze ,he says :
“…You are not a slave you are a king if you want something release the wish and let it light on it’s desire completely free of the personal and sit and sound the drum of nothing nothing …”
So while I sound the drums for some of my dreams I will share others desires

Dearest Paulo,
I’m fairly young and i have a long way to go, there are many thing in life i want to do, and change, and i slowly i am going for everything i desire. I dont feel i’m in a position yet to answer this question, however i’d like to make a comment-
I too would love to meet Nelson Mandela. I’m from South Africa and i know the difference his man and what an amazinf man he is. I just love him :) and peace the man brings. His incredible. I hope that you and i both get to meet him someday. My grandfather(when he was alive) fought with the ANC (African National Congress- which was the party Nelson Mandels lead into democracy). Sometimes when you hear of what some people have been through in my country you find yourself in amazement that they survived.
I love to dance :) dance properly that is- ballroom dancing. I absolutely love it and dance with my father whenever i go home. I hope that one day i’ll be as good as him though :)
Lastly, if u ever decide to make your trip to Africa, you (and your wife of course) are welcome to come and visit/stay me. I’ll take you around south africa and show you what its really like here- i dont know about you, but being a tourist in a country never really fulfills me, i prefer staying or spending time with people from the area.
Anyway, i hope that you are well..
Take care of yourself.
Thank you for being
Yajna
“Do I have any unfulfilled desires??
Other than heaven on earth for all humanity….no.
I live for today and take what comes, with as much enjoyment as I can”–Leaf
I am so glad that I have found someone who has the same wonderful dream like mine and like many others, unknown Warriors of Light and Seekers of Truth! Thank you so much, dear Leaf, for not being afraid to become yourself and to listen to the song of our hearts echoed in our minds! :-)
This is my greatest desire, too, for the whole world to live in harmony, sharing a humanity full of love, peace, joy and light! :-)
As far as Paulo’s list of desires are concerned, all of them are manageable, except one in my opinion, the one with travelling into space… I believe it’s so strange and difficult to be away from Mother Earth’s gravity, to flow with this body of flesh, really, it seems troublesome to do there normal things from here, like eating, drinking and so on…I’ve seen some documentaries about astronauts and even though many people would like to be in their shoes, it’s not as glamorous as it seems from here. Moreover, even if you go on the Moon or anywhere else, this doesn’t change the way you are inside… It’s not like you go in the orbit and suddenly become a better, more evolved person. What is not solved in here, won’t be solved anywhere else too. It’s just for fun and it involves too much struggling for my taste, but anyway, I wish you “Good Luck!” from all my heart! :-)
About the safari in Africa, why not doing it anyway? As long as you don’t kill the animals, I really don’t understand why not…
I stayed at a monastery for a couple of weeks when I was a teenager, but I was not totally isolated from the world, I guess that happened because I love the company of people, communicating and being alone makes no sense in the middle of the world. We chose to come here, on Mother Earth in the first place, why should we live isolated?
It’s a great feeling though, to be just with yourself and God, but I realized that there is no need to be isolated in a monastery or anywhere else. When you can feel God’s Love in your heart, the place loses its importance, really. Unfortunately there are people at monasteries who haven’t found their inner peace, the place doesn’t represent a guarantee for finding God, only the pure desire matters, which can be manifested even in the middle of the city! It’s good, though, to be “far from the madding crowd,” but not for too long as ascetism can make one such a solitary person and joy must be shared!
I want to be at a level from where there is no way down, just up, not to have and see sorrow, or pain or anything bad anymore. Pure joy everywhere! I know it’s possible, so I am waiting for the perfect world… :-)Till then, I try to live as beautifully as possible and remember that we don’t have to do anything special about it, because Love simply is. If we feel love, we have everything, after all! :-)
Lots of hugs, appreciation and all the best in the whole world!
Carmen Larisa
First there’s bound to be more than 10 especially since I’m not dead yet so there’s always a new desire or dream being added to the list, but equally, I’m not dead yet so there’s still opportunity to knock a few off the list.
1 Learn to fly
2 Become a guitar virtuoso (plinking out a tune with my tongue sticking out the side of my mouth doesn’t count!)
3 Write that book that I KNOW is in me but nagging self doubt has, to date, stopped me
4 Travel to India
5 Become financially self sufficient
6 Go into space - to see our world from space
7 Having a day off without my wife producing her “jobs that need doing list”
8 Learning my place in the scheme - still searching, still not content
9 Watch my Children grow and be sure they are safe a free to follow their dreams
10 LIVE until I die!
I’m sure there are many more for this list that I’m not aware I know about but I’m also sure they will reveal themselves in the fullness of time. Perhaps I have reached the same point as the Crystal shop owner and perhaps by saying that out loud and realising it I still have the spark left to do something about it. Regardless of the outcome it wil be the road I choose to follow and I will be content with the outcomes because the decisions were mine.
suddenly I remember many other dreams that I was supressing because the day to day business of life suppressed them.
Sing - I dreamed of being a singer when I was a boy
Dance- Never did get past the shuffling dance
paint -A sin perhaps but I’m envious of anyone that can transfer an image from sight to canvas
be able to love like a child - unconditionally, without prejudice or opinion or, more importantly motive. Too many give love to receive Love (me included) and I strive constantly to reverse the order of the capitalised word.
Finally my ultimate desire is to reconcile my objective, analytical, evidence based nature (I’m an anlytical chemist and statistician) with my belief in God and my total mistrust of any organised religion - hence my name
Well, I’ve tried traveling solo and it was amazing. I visited places because I wanted to, not because my co-traveler wanted to.
Things I haven’t done, but have to be done this year:
1. guitar lesson (I must at least able to play one —musical instrument)
2. drop off some 3 kilos from my body because my —clothes are getting tight
3. tell my mom that I want to try working on a cruise —(she hates the idea of her family boarding on ship —after my father’s brother died in a ship accident —before I was born)
4. visit my grandmother more often, I only visit her —once a month. She is suffering of osteoporosis: —right femur broken 2 times, right femur once, —broken shoulder and arm, can’t walk anymore
5. rent Moulin Rouge, I’ve been postponing this since —the week I missed it on theatre
Things that I would love to do but I never did/I won’t be able to do (for now):
-I would love to go to Paris with my husband. Right now he’s on the other side of the world. (My ultimate dream would always be to wake up in the morning and find him asleep beside me-for all the days of my life).
-Ride a gondola in Venice.
-Skydive
-Experience NASA’s Zero-Gravity Space Pen
-Join Amazing Race
-Of course, I would always love to meet you, Mr. Coelho. I promised myself that one day I’ll meet you personally.
I really, really enjoyed reading everyone’s wishes. It made me dream
xxx
I have fulfilled many dreams in my lifetime, and dont have that many now.
I promised myself I would see the Hollywood sign in person by the age of 30, I managed it at 29!
Since a child I dreamt of being photographed in front of the Sphinx like my Grandad had in 1942, I went to Egypt 5 years ago and have returned each year, I have made many good friends there.
Since reading The Alchemist which I think was maybe 6 or 7 years ago, I dreamt of meeting you Paulo, which I acheived last year at a book signing in London, I cherish that photo dearly.
I dont have many desires these days, I am pretty much happy.
I would love to have dinner with Michael Vartan from Alias but that is totally unrealistic
Then again I never thought I would shake the hand of Paulo Coelho…
1. To earn over €200,000 a year
2. Also to be the first Irish man in space, I know that Virgin will be flying people to space at a price of €200,000 (I get the news letter every once and a while!)
3. To own a BMW, this has all the buttons, leather and all other mod cons.
4. To get published and buy the house next to my partner’s parents, it is currently price tagged at €2,800,000.
5. To buy a Ferrari and park it in the garage of that house
6. To have an apartment in Munich
7. To have a house in Spain
8. To write a newspaper column every week that is famous!
9. To meet Paulo Coelho & to speak of spiritual matters of the Universe, life and death and the heart.
10. To help people throughout the world with what I have learned in life.
I know that I may seem very materialistic, but hay that’s me! Santiago walked the desert in search of his gold. From the very beginning of the book that is what drove him forward! And this is what drives me in my life, to have the comforts the Universe provide for us! And it would also be amazing to look at the earth from space and to hear the true vibration of the Mother Universe
Thanks Carmen
Love to all
xxxx
Dear Mr Coelho,
In spite of your admirable achievements, it would surprise me if you honestly feel that your personal legend is something that you already have - as indicated in your post.
I would have assumed that there is some piece still missing that is not even attainable in this life, but that is still the very force driving you along,
rather than you deaming about learning to play the guitar of flying a Mirage (!)…
Right or wrong…?
Dear Paulo,
i look at my life and i think there are a LOT of unfulfilled desires i have yet to achieve. and i also look back and see that i already have a lot of things that i can only dream of before… i guess it is really true when they say that what is important in life is the journey…
to list a few that is on top of my head
– design and build our own house
– be blessed monetarily, that way i can help the poor (by not being one of them)
– see egypt, rome, paris
– have my own paper line / journal line
–probably meet / have dinner with Gloria Estefan. =)
–talk to a shrink.. that way i can speak to someone objective. (is this true?)
–be rich and live a less stressful life…
Unfulfilled desires, huh? Lots of them, but it’s nice to make a list. So, I would love to:
1. Fall in love with someone who has fallen in love with me.
2. Write for a living, and preferably be published as well.
3. Remember and practice ALL of the punctuation rules I learned in elementary school.
4. Fluently speak and understand Spanish.
5. Work for and with Oprah Winfrey for at least 5 years.
6. Run for pleasure and relaxation.
7. Spend some “vacation” time serving communities in need of attention… in my country as well as others.
Looking at the list, I see that it’s just a matter of working and reaching for these desires.
My dear favorit writer,I will share with you my unfulfilled desires. These should be: meeting Paulo Coelho, become a succsesful literary critic and also writer.Even if I have practised some years martial arts ,I did not arrived to get the highest degree ,so this is still a dream.Maybe I have met already my twin soul, but we are not togheter, that is another wish to fulfill. Now I have some collaborations and an offer as manager to a new field in my town,I wish to really get the job and to be able to do well the work.I wish to have the posibility to help people, first of all my parents.I would like to be at least half wise like you are, and never lose my faith.
To become an actress
To learn sing well(alas!impossible!)
To get married)))
no gliding/soaring? You have to try that one out! not as fast and noisy as a Mirage - but sure *whooping* anyway! (make the pilot drop from about 1000m, make the “weightless-trick” and then turn sharply - you will love it! :-)
a little list - not necessarily in the right order…
* get a cat
* be blessed with a baby
* learn to play base-guitar
* learn to play accordeon
* travel to some interesting places in the world
* sail on Beatrice Aurore
* sail for two weeks on a real full-rigged vessel like a clipper
* write books
Unfulfilled desires, projects on hold and other matters.
To have a meal with my family, every weekend.
To breath the air of my nation, most of the time.
To share with friends and strangers moments of reflection, teachings and thoughts.
To learn something new everyday.
To be positive and inspiring to those around me.
To have the space to dream my deepest dreams, alone.
I still have dreams and desires to fulfill.
As you said in The Witch of Portobello:
- Desires are never satisfied, because once
they are, they cease to be desires !
Here are mine just as they are coming in my mind:
- have coffee with Paulo Coelho in Dubrovnik
- write bestseller for children
- meet J.K. Rowling
- learn to play piano
- learn to dance
- learn to make ceramics
- visit Machu Pitchu
- visit Santiago de Compostela
- visit and fly over Australia, with love of
my youth
- reconstruct my runined house
- buy small cottage on small croatian island
- be able to help less fortunate than me
- have money to do all this
- have time to do all this
- never lose smile again
- and never stop to dream !!!
hi paulo,
i love this exercise
my dreams are:
1. quitting my job to do something closer to my heart…..follow my personal legend.
2. learn music maybe singing, the guitar.
3. learn to dance.
4. work on my inner being and know myself better
5. go trekking to the himalayas, join a trek group
6. see the world.
7. write
8. to become a more positive person
9. do-up my house, my wardrobe
10. work for some social cause
11. get my sister married
well here is the list almost. thanks for now i know who is stopping me is no one but myself. they are dreams that can be achieved but we push them more and more into the future, postponing them for no rhyme or reason and the joy that can actually flow out of them and make life worthwhile gets blocked. we are our own road blocks, i have to get out of my way.

Dearest Paulo and friends,
For some odd reason the last time i read this article i didn’t realise it was the question of the week.. hmmm.. anyway, i was thinking that i hope everyone here stills goes for what they desire no matter how small or impossible it may seem. Sometimes we tend to take life for granted and its over before we know it.
I think that in life we will always desire something, i think that it is very healthy and serves as a purpose for us to live. The journey builds character and prepares as for our next journey :) I suppose it never stops, and i suppose its best that way :)
Thank you for being
Yajna
PS Anyone comes to SA can come visit me :)
Unfulfilled desires are the wood keeping the fire in our soul alive.
Having no more longings and desires life loses its sense and you can die as well.
Dear Paulo,
Thinking the answers of that question is already realizing one’s dreams I feel…
Here are some of my wishes with some already fulfilled:
- Living nearby the sea
-Enjoying my job and feeling that I am right for it
-Visiting Nepal and the Himalayas, Egypt, Mexico and North Pole.
-Dancing as much as I can, if possible with a group of people
-Meeting soulmates all around the world
-Having a child
-Sharing this life with my soulmate
-Having a big house in the nature, with animals and a beautiful family
-Feeling free wherever I go, whoever I am with
-Meeting Paulo Coelho in person
-Finding my gift and accomplishing what I came here to do…
Many thanks for this opportunity

Dear Paolo
These days I think I just need to find myself and to understand my actions. I’ve been following my ‘legend’ these years and life has been challenging and good, but there is still something missing and I don’t know what this is. It feels like a desire, like longing after a lost one, like searching for something in the more abstract world of dreams. It sometimes feels like my soul cries and I don’t know why. In the more pragmatic world, I would like to contribute more as a doctor and work with and for people again. And I would like to meet with you one day.
Love
Delia

Dear Leaf,
You’re welcome! I really hope that our dream will come true very soon! :-)
And dear Yajna, I also like your ideas very much and the way you express them too. It’s true, pure desires represent in fact our lives summed up, preparing us for the next journey, whatever that is…maybe that of a new dimension, of the Spirit. That’s why it’s essential to pay attention to what we think and desire because thoughts are put into action and get materialized sooner or later… :o)
May God bless the whole world with another dimension, that of the Spirit, of the Light and absolute Truth!
Lots of love,
Carmen Larisa
Here is my list:
Having a job where my dog could stay with me (I hate leaving him alone for hours locked in a house where he hasn´t got not even a garden. That is cruel, isn´t it? He is not even able to go to the toilet til I get home).
Living close to good places where my dog could enjoy (not as a slave with a leash all the time).
Seeing my dog happy, interacting with friends freely.
Learn how to cook properly (I´m not talking only about not burning all the pots and saucepans of the kitchen (even almost the kitchen once … ) but despite of that, create delicious food).
Learning Yoga and meditation.
Learning the belly dance.
Attend to a Tea Ceremony where tea bags and being in a hurry is forbidden.
Learn to play the piano.
Improve my English till perfection? … Maybe.
I am 50…last year I met my soul mate…I knew it immediately…she knew it too..
I travel the journey…sense Yahweh…El Shaddai..the breasted on….Jesus..my mate
..closer to God..
Continue to be as fit as most 20 or 30 year olds…I
..love… yoga……tai chi…now kick boxing..combat
I read Brida just after…a soul mate experience..I just finished Witch of Portobello…
..this is part of the journey….we are teaching each other from a distance in…separate lives in many ways…but together…
I desire two lives..in parallel..not necessarily reincarnate…one with my Wicca…one with my Brida..maybe in sequence..anything is possible
We see darkly now…one day we will see clearly.
I just registered to submit a film to your Witch Experiment film concept…as the Scotland Yard detective..I envisage the scene..sharing with you Paulo..and our angels..and our soulmates…about Athena.
Walk on water
….that’s my farewell…for now…I’d like to do that too..walk on water that is…kite surfing is as close as I get
John
Like you, I don’t make New Year’s resolutions. If it’s important enough to commit to, then it’s important enough for me to make the commitment any time of year.
I do still have some heart’s desires to fulfill. I want to see my 15 month old son grow up and continue to experience the delight and joy he shows today. I am grateful to experience that with him every day and to be able to reinforce his natural state of being as much as possible.
My heart is growing larger than my current employer can hold, and so I seek to help others discover themselves. I have touched many, and I wish to touch more.
I want to be with the northern lights again. I saw them one night while in Scotland, and now I would like to spend more intimate time with them.
I would like to reach a point of inner peace and self-sustainability in which I would no longer feel compelled to work to earn enough income to support my family.
Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be an astronaut. I went to Space Camp twice, studied astronomy and physics, and then at the age of 16 realized I didn’t want to fly airplanes all my life just to be able to go into space. Though I gave up on that specific path, the dream is still there.
Perhaps once you make contact with the Russians, you will share your information with me so that I may follow suit? :)
My unfulfilled desires
1.See The Sistine Chapel (well, i would love to go to europe)
2.Go to a Disneyland
3.learn how to cartwheel (haha :))
4.Learn how to cook (prepare breakfast for my parents)
5.To dance on stage alone (with audience of course)
most of all…Influence people to “live simply so others may simply live” (said by St. Marie Eugenie)
:)
here’s a list of my unfulfilled desire:
1. learn how to cook good meals..
i would love to for mom & dad
2. learn how to drive..
we have a car in davao but no one’s
driving it, except when my dad or my uncle
stays in our house
3. learn diffent languages like french,
italian and arabic..
4. learn how to swim..
i’ve never learn how to swim
i am so scared of drowning myself
5. learn to play the guitar..
i love music
i love to sing
i guess it would be great if i play
the guitar at the same time i am singing
6. travel the world..
i guess i’m a nomad
i was born in davao city, we moved to
manila, and then get back to davao, went
to jeddah and other different places
i want to see other places
learn
enjoy
take pictures of anything
7. become a professional photographer
this is my ultimate ufulfilled dream
i was inspired by your books especially
The Alchemist & The Warrior of the Light.
now that i’ve fulfilled my parent’s wish,
i guess it’s not too late to fulfill
mine..
more power Sir Paulo Coelho!
