Today’s Question by Aart Hilal

by Paulo Coelho on April 18, 2008

What events in your life did change you somehow?

My life changes in a daily basis. Every day – and this goes for everyone – has a magic moment, which I have to seize and follow. As Carlos Castaneda says: “every warrior has a cubic centimeter of good luck, and his wisdom consists in following this cubic centimeter.”

…This whole desiring thing is a tricky one… From one side, our desires make us miserable, because once one desire is satisfied the next one comes and so on and so on. So if we chace our desires-we're always running towards something and it's never enough. From the other side there is something very human about those short lived joys we experience when yet another dream comes true. That spark in our eyes that one moment out of thousands when you feel that everything's going to be all right; I am happy Now.
But then we get caught up in all this.We condition life and when it gives us what we want we're happy and when it doesn't we're sad. Happiness and sorrow are the sides of the same coin. And unfortunately those swings affect not only ourselves but also peaople around us and the planet.
True spiritual progress begins from a taughtless state of satisfaction. When one finds God and knows that the search had come to an end. And all that is left to do is to share this experiences with humanity. This is my pure wish and I believe that the rest is in the divine order.
Love and light to all warriors of Light!!! You allredy have enough!!!

If you are in a bad mood you don’t feel
the magic moments at all.
When i am feeling good, sometimes i feel the magic moments. But i can count the magic moments on one hand.
Perhaps i am very special person
I think you have to pass a certain level of wisdom

Merely as a mountain that displaces a very little everyday, as to provoke a quake someday.

It changes everyday that’s true. But some events could “move a mountain” sometimes. And I think that’s the same for everyone.

and what of women and desire – is it easy for women to change their lives on a daily basis? are men more easily accomodated or is it social dogma that prevents “us” fulfilling or desires. fate and destiny, my friend, is not in our hands – it is often in the hands of others – life in a garin of sand – paradise? a small piece of sand and stone we call happiness????

When I read for the first time The Alchemist and a week later The Pilgrimage and The Fifth Mountain. My cubic centimeter was thrown onto me from the least expected direction and I intend to follow its path…

…..
It’s just a moment,
a smile,
one tear,
when your eyes
are full of light
full of dreams.
Dare,
do not be afraid,
believe!
It might never
ever
happen
again
indeed.

love
Agnieszka
