Thank you very much, dear Paulo, for writing this! It was a sheer pleasure to read these touching words coming from your heart! :-)
It is so true, ideed, that in general it's easier to criticize than to create, to destroy than to build.
But those who want to build, write, etc., to take positive actions in life, do them anyway, regardless of what the critics of any kind say. Of course it's nicer and easier to see that others appreciate what you do, but if they don't, I guess that life still goes on and one day all the efforts will pay off. Sooner or later, what we send will come to us multiplied and will make us realize that everything happens for a reason, for us to know our inner selves, to evolve!
Keep up the good work, dear Sir and just have an open heart and an open mind! We should let critics do their job and we should do ours. We will see in the end who had more to gain from everything that he or she experienced… ;-)
All the best in the world and may God bless the whole world with sweetness and compassion!
Affectionately,
Carmen Larisa
Esimado Paulo Coelho.
Patricia
I thankyou for these acts of writting it is very encouraging and it is best to receive helpful advice from someone who has experienced the whole thing ,although each individual is different we must not forget that there is always someone who understands the ups and downs of doing what you love ..Blessings and Thankyou …Love Tania
Very powerful words my friend. You indeed have a way with words. Warrior of light I salute you
How can I say in what an amazement I was after I have read your articles?I like you more and more. You have no reason to pay attention to mallevolent critics. In my opinion, critics have to be very greatfull to writers, because if they write books, the critics earn money.I must say you are a dream to me.Love
Oui. Merci.
Délices.

“Writing is an act of courage.”
“… the heart of the person who dared to share his or her feelings smiles.”
so true…
Writing is an act of courage and…act of love. I’ve always thought like that and it is also act…of magic.
When you give all the love and you’re not afraid it can do….magic in the hearts of others.
That’s what You do Paulo.
Love
Agnieszka
I echo many of the points raised in this and the previous newslewtter. I spent many years working with creative writing groups and was always astounded by the ideas and stories that people had to share. It takes courage to display yourself through the stories that you have within but if you write with honesty and conviction you will always find a readership. Writing is a wonderful way to express your feelings and to connect with others. I believe that the positive responses will always triumph over the negative. Take solice in the fact that your critics are simply displaying the fact that they were never intended to be your readers anyway.
There is no greater satisfaction when one or more of your readers takes up your mantle or acknowledges that you have enlightened their world.
