This reminds me of an endearing quote by Mother Theresa. She said, “God would never place us in a situation that he didn’t think we could handle. Sometimes, I just wish he didn’t trust me so much!”
I believe the lord never demand anything from us. He is ever-flowing with love. Only existence and life demands and it’s true that existence demands only what is within our capabilities.
Well, I tend to believe that sometimes God wants us to fail and thus presents us with challanges outside of our capacity. Sometimes God demands that we fail. This is the way we evolve.
Yes I agree too,we are only given that which we can handle ..God knows how far our spirit will take us .Blessings Tania
Dear Paulo,
the Lord doesn’t care. You have to care yourself and use the freedom, that lies in the noncaring attention of the Lord
yes,for is most wise, and knows better than us our limits.he loves us,and therefore he can not ask more.but also he is the one had given to us power, and is in the right amount.trust god is duty.
Totally agree with this, I’ve been through so much in life and have seen so much in such young age. I used to ask God why me for all this pain ans suffering? Why I need to give this test? I’m not capable of this. But as the time went by I’ve realised that God has damanded only what I was capalbe of..nothing more than that and nothing less.
I have another one, along the same lines…that we are only dealt what we can handle. I haven’t put it very well, but I like the meaning behind it; even when we are at our lowest, there is someone out there who, when we are struggling to believe in ourselves, tells us that we have more strength, more power, more love than we give ourselves credit for.
I hope.
love
