It is interesting that I came across this quote today. I have been reading “The Witch of Portabello” and have been inspired lately to submit my artistic career dreams to God. I said this prayer twice so far (once today) while walking on 42nd St. and Broadway in NYC. I have a reading of my musical going up tonight. Keep me in your prayers.

I will allow Him to enter!
I know usually one say that you must open your heart for meeting God.I daresay you must have also an open mind,not a mind full of prejudice.Take time .And maybe once again I may push things a little,reminding a saying:whenever the pupil is ready,the Master arrives.It must be some open window or door for the sun to lighten the room,so it may be with the Light of mighty God.
I attended a group where this prayer was handed out.
The light of God surrounds me,
The love of God enfolds me,
The power of God protects me,
The presence of God watches over me.
And all is well.
It has gotten me through some difficult times.
He enters through your Christ consciousness,your heart ,your Home..
All traveler’s ,neighbors or strangers ,friends and family ..who ever you meet always salute the divinity in each man .

I believe dear Aditya, that God exists anywhere..He is Omnipotent and Omnipresent..i think this quote was simply to ‘humanise’ it in a way..to make it more simple and understood by people..(because we open doors, windows , etc in our daily routines..)A door is like a gate to another world..So again if we should open our hearts, our souls, let these ‘windows’ of our beings open, then we can ’see’ him., and see another world..of love..

Yes interesting….it’s rather like being an actor on a stage without having an audience….God is in all things…it’s up to us to notice and be aware of this. He/She is all powerful not, (sorry Aditya) powerless. Our egos do often however try to convince us otherwise. Demut DE / Humbleness EN is extremely important, and opens the door which allows God to enter.
