Today’s Question by Aart Hilal

What makes you happy? What you think what is more important: to make 800 people happy with your job and social work or millions people happy trough your books.Or just make happy only one of them,The most important one?

Who said that I am happy? I am a warrior of the light, I have my moments of ups and downs. But I cannot judge in quantity; you cannot measure love like you measure a road. Providing that you put all of yourself in everything you do, you are fulfilling your task as a human being.

If there’s only one person you can fill with love..you can touch God’s heart…if there’s more…you can make this world…heaven on earth..,
    I believe..

    love

I agree Love is or very difficult to be measured,or impossible. Is also unfair to compare love for different persons. Is like parents who are asking a little kid:Whom do you love more, your father,or your mother. We must think at tunes.shadows.Every type of love is important,is an exercise of heart.

Happiness..such a big topic…i dont believe in happiness..i think it is a lie..all around me strive to be happy..want to make money to be happy or want to travel to he happy, or a child to be happy or a better job to be happy, or all of these…believing that if they achive that they will live in their Happyland..i dont believe any of this..these people always want ’something’ to be happy…and that something that is missing i think it is their Legend..which they have forgotten and try to neglect It by other things..it is the routine that makes them want all these..instead they should transform their every day into something that would make them so entusiastic about life..living..every day and every moment of this day..
i believe in the pursuit of joy, and fulfilment..in everything we do..and everything that gives us life, strengthens us, fills us with love and makes us seem like stars that shine in this world..
    Love to all of you

I want to fulfill my destiny through out my personal legend. Your doing that Pulo, your soul has a big smile…

I mean… You are doing that Paulo

I think doing the right thing will make those who deserve to be happy, happy. The rest who are only happy with wrong doing, don’t deserve happiness.

I think if you make yourself happy then it flows on ,happiness is a choice ,sometimes its in our control sometimes a bit out of our control but always in our own hands left up to us ..I have always made myself happy and what joys come into my life only bring me more love/happiness the decision is always ours..this is wholeness .But I do know its nice to share your ups and downs with another person ..and if that person makes you feel more happiness/joy in your heart that you gave or received then everything you do or touch showers you in knowledge that you loved ,laughed and lived your legend like there was no tomorrow .Love and Light Tania

In pursuit of happiness we often pass by the subtler sounds of joy and the tones of contentment because we are to busy waiting for the bells of rapture to ring.
Happiness to me is a sense of belonging to the gentle heart beat of the world, found in a smile, a flower, a breeze.
Dont be happy so you can show someone you are, if you truly feel, it will eminate from you like a crystal clear spring and flow on to others naturally.

Just me ,back again …I read this saying in the chemist the other day and I thought about it this morning …plus it makes sense well to me anyway ..Happiness is something that comes into our lives through doors we don’t even remember leaving open .
    Blessings Tania

I can make people happy, takes about 6weeks if you have the money :)

  13. 13 Paul from Austria

Kealan - Money can never make a person who is really in touch with reality, happy!

Ruthie - nicely said, and true!

I wish I could draw in this box ;-) I can’t so I’ll simply try to explain that if you consider our path (following our personal legend) is a straight line (which of course it’s not) and our actual route goes right and sometimes left of this line, the point at which the two cross, could be the “Happiness Junction” ;-) How about that one? Love to you all, Paul

Well, life would be more joyful and meaningful if we have a job that you enjoy, caring family, real friends, feeling important and needed and not easy to be replaced, to be healthy and having piece of mind.

  15. 15 Annie

“Happiness Junction” - wow, what a definition.. i believe the point the two (right and left) cross are on the ’straight line’ , so it is on the path of the legend..which is Life itself..so if , for you, Happiness equals your Personal Legend, i guess you are right..
    Love ,
    Annie

The expression personal legend and destiny in life are used very often on this blog. This made me thinking and asking myself:

Who of you has really found out what you personal legend or your destiny in life is? I don’t want an eplanation of the expressions, but an answer to the question “Who of you can say with doubtlessness I know this or that is my destiny in live?”
Would also be an interesting question of the week!

  17. 17 Annie

Dear Monica, i know i have….i know what my Personal Legend is.It is the one and only thing that keeps me going every day..it is the one fire that burns still inside of me..and it is the water that can wash away all my sorrows and tears…and i know what it is…
