		<description>Dear Paulo,
I had a look through this again and decided to check the Encyclopedia for the definition of Social Justice - what is it?
I was quite surprised - there was hardly anything said about it -
Under justice &quot;The idea of justice is treated in the following articles: ethics, human rights, law, Western philosophy of - natural law and procedural law. The titles of these articles indicate the fields of scholarship or thoughts in which the idea of justice plays an important role.&quot;
Under social - I found anything but justice mentioned.&quot; i.e. social, insurance, dance, control, contract, democracy, groups, facilitation, class mobility, social services, etc.&quot;
I know my books are quite old, seems to me that social justice has always been part of the human condition, however, I might be wrong, I often am.
One of my comments above was:&quot;I feel for you. You fought the good fight.&quot; The reasons why I said that is that if I had been in your position , I would have done exactly the same.- I would have been a conscious objector -
To my mind, I cannot understand how one body of persons can decide what is good for you or not. It is a personal choice and no one detains the whole truth. If you live in a democracy, democracy means for the people.
The fact that journalists can no longer exercise their profession without fear of reprisals is a grave abuse of human rights. It is happening all over the world regardless. More and more of them are dying in combat just for reporting the truth.Something has to be done about that. It appears to me that so-called laws are put in places, however, never act upon. It just looks good on paper.
Journalists and anyone who is protesting is under arrest, subject to torture and declared &quot;mad&quot;, how convenient! Are we just a number? It appears so.
Human rights abuse to me includes - sexual violence towards women and young children, genocides,racism, repression, prisoners of conscience, prisoners of wars, colonialism and its treatment with the natives,repression of the media and psychological abuse of prisoners ,drugs, etc, etc.
Conflicts are happening everywhere and we seem to be turning a blind eye on them. Bosnia, Russia, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Israel, Palestine, Rwanda, Burma, Vietnam, China, Bulgaria, Congo, Zimbabwee . Burrundi, Turkey, Uruguay, Nicaragua, and the list goes on.
I want to know : when is something going to be done about restoring
peace?
Just a thought that is all,
Thanks Paulo for bringing this matter to our attention.

		<description>&quot;They believed the West shared their belief that human life is priceless and that such crimes by the state should not go unpunished.&quot;

obviously their beleif was mistaken, wasn&#039;t it !

but no such is not the case ! the vast majority who unfortunately remain mute, do share this belief. Evil always comes / appears stronger, indeed as the situation is today, the decision making in west still reains predominantly crassly materialistic, they talk of good &amp; virtuaous things only so that they can maintain a facade of goodness, so that they can fool even theselves that they are good.

Agni, it&#039;s a miracle that despite the sitauion being what it is, articles such as this still nudges our conscience. love still survives. If u compare from middle ages, situation is better now; people are at least talking about sacerdness of human life.

The &#039;commandements&#039; are preached, are written on the walls, not because they have become our bone &amp; marrow; but because the beast in man is at least trying to aspire to reach there.

Democracy is a recent expereinment in human history; it&#039;s about time a comprehensive review is done to see where it can be improved. For one there seems to be too much infleunce of money in the process, which has become the fountainhead of all corruption. Communism and sosilaism seem to have failed miserably, producing worse tyrants than democracies; but democarcies too need to introspect and see what can be done to reduce the infeulce of money. i am a little mad, hope no one minds these diversions from topics, actually they are related, but explaining the relationship is whew....

		<description>I wander where this world is going?
Why there&#039;s so much hate, torture, discrimination, pain...?
What human beings have really inside?
Hate?
Where is love?
Why do we treat each other worse than animals?
Do people think that they&#039;re God&#039;s, because they have too much power and why they are using this power against other people instead of helping them to live decent, peaceful life, where there&#039;s no hunger, no war, no...hate.
What is it that makes people become monsters that feeds on others?
Where is love? ..is love going to vanish....like...dinasours?

If we could have this power...
we would...
take away the pain..

but... we do.

love
