The story with the Samoerai and the Zen master,it ‘s very
funny,i recognize situations in the real life.Sometimes i see the Samoerai in myself in the past.The Samoerai is almost dead in me.I love the story.
The story about the cross it’s true,i am always thinking
that other people has a better live then me,but it isn’t ,sometimes i react like a frog, .
Because they are wearing a mask to the outside world.
In this world most of the people are not honest with showing their feelings.

good stories though !! what did the rabi meant by ‘excellant servants’? In christainity what is one’s highest aspiration; to be a servant of Christ or to be christ himslef !

I merely stumbled across this newsletter, the first of which I have seen from Paulo Coelho. I am always amazed at the seeming purpose and clarity of his writings. There is an inherent spirituality in Mr. Coelho’s writings. He speaks to something seemingly buried deep in the human consciousness. His messages are gems, giving us clues on how to live in peace and with balance, ever moving forward toward enlightenment. His writings are immediately disarming, non threatening, and seem to convey a message of courage, acceptance and hope. I always feel as if some small burdon has been lifted after reading his writings. He gives us so much more than the fiction he writes, almost as if his stories are merely vehicles for a greater message. He is giving us wonderful stories, yes, but they seem to contain a greater wisdom, which enables the reader to find clues to a better, perhaps more spiritual way of living. All this is done in a very bare bones, simple and easy to read style of writing. This makes him accessible to almost anyone and I am sure this is not by mistake. I’ll be back again, Mr. Coelho, Thanks.
