How much will the value the manuscript change for you after it becomes a book. I’m not meaning money but meaning the value for you.Is the word more powerful when its printed in thousands of copies than when it is present only in you mind?
Alchemy is the art of projecting in this world what you have in the non-material world. Therefore, when you are able to manifest physically something, you get a better picture of your feelings. In the case of a book, most of the time I have a subconscious understanding, but I need to write and concentrate it. I would suggest everybody to write diaries, it helps a lot to solve our own conflicts.

What a beautiful definition of Alchemy…the projection of non materialistic 'things' in this world…and when these take a form, like a book, they are the bridge to the invisible world…….
Love to all of you

God created the World by LOGOS [a Greek word again!!]and the Holy spirit. So the material world was created..We all know the story. With the same way, every human being creates his life with his spirit, psycho[soul] and thoughts. Everymonent our thoughts and subconcious, mirror our innerself. But every minute creation inside us continues and we add and enrich ourselves. As a child I used to keep a diary, but re-reading it was a ..nightmare!I always felt, that what was bothering me before was not important any more!!So I decided to live every minute acting as it is the first and last chance of everything. LOVE, Thelma

That’s true and incredibly magic to write a diary. Sometimes I measure how it is read by God.
I’ve been doing it since 1993.
Of course sometimes I don’t put a word in it for days, months.
Yet, it helps me last week in discovering some vicious circles I was in.
And also for the family then, this is a great thing to do.

When I start to write down unconscious becomes conscious, thoughts take shape and form, follow a stream and most times lead to freedom… or relief at least.
I stopped keeping a diary some years ago, when life became more complicated… but then, this may be the time to restart… to make it simpler.

You have a good point to make - I am feeling the same…maybe you would benefit now from writing privately; that is what I am doing, and I only journal on and off, too.
Perhaps, yes, the accommodating point, I hadn’t thought of that, but I did think; Why do I avoid expressing myself through art and writing a) when I feel stressed b) when I most need to?
Maybe we as a whole people, have a need to recognize our ‘expressive’ nature, recognize its’ nurturing ability, be kind to ourself, and indulge in the self-preservation qualities we find there.
Some paint, some write, some sing or play music, and all act; - some act as though we don’t need to do these things, when actually, we deprive ourselves and others, when we don’t.

PS Paulo,
answer to what I thought was question of the week on monday;
To solve the world’s problems, first we must each solve our own. (but I don’t mean by ourself, necessarily)

It is right - writing down your thoughts, feelings and impressions you make them conscious. I tried to write a diary and kept up for some time, but then I did it less and less regular and gave up. Since that I did not really miss it, but maybe I will take it up again some day.
In principle writing here has a similar effect, even when it is not private.
I must admit that my enthusiasm to write here is also decreasing a bit the latest time. Is this the accommodating point sneaking up? I have to win conscious about it.

You are right, putting it on paper gives completely new dimension to it, and in case of diaries ( I kept them day after day for years but not any more on daily basis ) they are more valuable than any psihoanalist and they open on your own will and in your own choosen moment the doors to the world you left behind.
Thank you for reminding me, it will be the very first thing tonight when I hit my bed to open one and go through into “my childhood wonderland”

The pleasure of writing is more important than anything else. When you put your heart, your soul, and your dreams in it, it’s like talking to God..
