By Paulo Coelho
For the warrior of the light, nothing is abstract. Everything is concrete, and everything concerns him. He is not sitting in the comfort of his tent, observing what goes on in the world. The warrior of the light accepts each challenge as an opportunity to transform himself.
Some of his companions spend their lives complaining about the lack of choice, or commenting decisions which do not concern them. The warrior, however, turns thought into action.
Sometimes he errs his objective, and pays - without complaining - the price for his mistake. At other times, he strays from the path, and loses much time returning to his original destiny.
But a warrior is never distracted.

Oh how true this is!? It is so difficult sometimes, especially when our loved ones, or closest friends & colleagues, believe that their comments are necessary. I try, not always successfully, to be diplomatic, but now I never ever let anything come between me and my original destiny. The closer I stay on course, the happier I am. Love and pleasant journeys, Paul
“The warrior of the light accepts each challenge as an opportunity to transform himself.”
Yes..he should..but..
it’s not an easy thing to do, when the challenges many times somehow make you lost, sad, brake your peace, or even your heart. It takes a lot of time and faith to go back on truck, but…when you follow the light…I believe…. miracles happen.

i will stand on the last part
“Sometimes he errs his objective, and pays - without complaining - the price for his mistake. At other times, he strays from the path, and loses much time returning to his original destiny.”
Everything he does, is a choice for the warrior of light..every decision he makes, he follows it till the end..and pays the price for his mistakes ..that is so true…and he doesnt complain, because he is aware that he made a choice and he is committed to every decision he takes..and if he goes astray from his path, he will find his way back to his destiny, -somehow he always does- because he is a warrior of light..and the light is always in his heart..
Love to all of you

Yes while others complain and fear their own future the warrior just gets on with it ,knowing that he is indeed on track ,changes happen he strays but always is committed to his destiny ..and we only learn by life experience but what is a mistake for what others see or think the warrior knows he has God on his side and what better hands than that to be .Good thing the warrior has Gods ears for hearing as the fears of all men fall deaf on the warrior ..He only hears of Glad tidings and joy the rest is not taken on by the warrior .Warriors have a beautiful mirror which naturally just reflects everything back with love and light to loved ones and friends .Blessings Tania
Yes, focus in your objective is important. However, it is not only setting your objective. It is achieving it with effort, sometimes with suffering and others with pain.
Some other times, when you reach your objective you realize that you were wrong. All the effort, suffering and pain for nothing… for nothing? I don’t think so.
Sometimes mistakes are the better way to be smarter next time. It is easier to complain about bad luck or blame others. It helps us to feel better, but then there is no learning, no way to prevent the same failure in the future.
Sometimes people say that they’ve got bad luck in an aspect in their life (work, love, addiction…) Maybe they’re repeating the same mistake over and over again, not learning about the failure, just complaining about it.
Yes, being a warrior of the light it is a hard work, but it is worth trying to do our best to achieve it.

Very true. I believe we all behave like warriors for things which really interests us and at other times its not the case.
“But a warrior is never distracted.”
Hmm..sometimes he is…because he is also a human being…but…eventually..the Light..that he has inside..show him the way.

I think what fascinates me the most, is that the warriors of light often fight in the dark, with the occasional touch of the light as a guide, that takes perseverance, a strong willpower and a immense amount of Faith. God how I hope this will stick with me throughout my own journey.
Thankful to have a place where thoughts such as these can be sheared.

Sometimes straying from your supposed path is how you stumble upon where you are really meant to be. At soul level, we all know why we exist, but not everyone is intent on embracing this life view from birth. Instead, we choose to accept and adopt external beliefs which blur our sense of self. It can take time to peel away the layers to rediscover where we are and why.
Dear Liara Covert, I have peeled off so may layers and discover new and wonderful things every day. Love, Paul
Life is moments. Years go by and time passing is so valuable. How wonderful for those of us who realise early what our destiny is. How unfortunate to realise it after many years have gone by. However, God is merciful. He can “shorten” the time for us and in a shorter time make us able to realise many more things than if we had more time. We only have to be “open”, learn and keep our soul-eyes steady to the purpose.
Thank you all for sharing.
Love to all
Marie
