I'm confused, but interested in the religion you write about in the pilgrimage. The journey to find the God within yourself made me think it was a sort of Catharism (Not the evil type that they talk about in conspiricy web-movies). But in the book you talk about picturing the saints of the Catholic faith.

I've spoken to people about how i can get involved in a religion that would challenge me in the way you describe... they've suggested masons ("unfortunately" i am female :P so that doesnt help), druids. In a place like Brisbane, Australia I don't know if I will find other like minded people. But I wanted to see if you would have any words of support or encouragement for me.

I love your work. Much respect. Sarah

Wherever you want to see the face of God,
you can see it.
Indeed we see upon will, you're right on that.

Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. We see God as he reveals Himself to us. This dynamic creates clarity and wisdom.

Dear all,

I would like to share a wonderful poem with you which has touched me beyond belief, written by a young pilot, John Gillespie Magee in 1941. John was inspired; of that I am certain:

High Flight

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.

Pilot Officer Gillespie Magee
No 412 squadron, RCAF
Killed 11 December

It's in the air,
it's in sky..up there,
it's in the smile of a poor child,
in the tear of a lonely heart,
in the breath of heaven,
in the sigh of the earth,
in you,
in me,
in every tree,
and when the light goes to sleep,
it's in your dreams,
when you wake up,
when you dance with the wind,
and...
it's in..your inner peace.

love

Sarah

This is because God is everywhere and in everything. We only have to open the eyes of our heart to see God.Boundaries does not exist for him,nor walls.
