Quote of the Day

By Paulo Coelho

Seize every opportunity that life offers you because,
when opportunities go,
they take a long time to come back.

  • I don't actually believe that opportunities are rare to come, in face humans' ability to turn opportunities into sweet responsibilities and assume these responsibilities is in itself an ingredient for generating opportunities…

  • A long time to come back again…….of a life-time???? Then, we think : “After all what is a ..life in eternity….” Ánd we keep dreaming for as long as we live, because without dreams we wouldn’t be able to live….LOVE, Thelma

  • Spirit usually knows an opportunity before we even open our mouths or utter any words , but if you look for faults or doubt even the slightest ,than you can sabotage what was a true blessing ,and it can take a while before God gives us another blessing .Blessings Tania

  • but on what basis would I judge that this is an opportunity from god or from other source………..and would it come disguised or very obvious?

  • Every moment is precious, one of the kind, passes by so quickly, and… it may not smile at us again if we let it slip through our fingers.

  • Uma dúvida sempre me acompanha:
Como podemos distinguir se o que o universo nos apresenta é uma oportunidade, ou é uma tentação a ser vencida?
    Acho que nunca saberemos…

  • I agree, with The Fifth Mountain quotation. If you are not optimist missed opportunity can eat your peace of mind. For optimists it is bit easier, I am the one and I had opportunities I let go by and and never to come back. Fortunately as I said I am optimist and damage is cured by force of my mind.

We must however be able to differentiate between an opportunity that is meant for us and one that is not. Some missed opportunities turn out to be blessings. If the opportunity was meant for us and we miss it, it may take a while to reappear, but God always give us a second chance. The devil offers us soooo many…..
Love & the right choice, Paul
