We use brain to read a book, though indeed it may talk to our heart. As for the symbols, they touch heart but also brain. Heart for the gratitude and brain for the sense we can find in it, to go forward. The middle path again. Symbols are keys. But that's true I'm not sure we need brain to find the door to unlock. Omens, oracles, destiny, karma,τύχη, ειμαρμένη, πεπρωμένο..Our logical mind tries to explain them, but life is a mystery and belongs to the Divine Sphere. If we are able to clear the mirror [our soul] we may be able to see in it the reflection of the truth and be able to know the substance.
