You made your characters believed in Omen. Do you personally believe in it as well?
Of course. But you misunderstand a symbol when you try to follow the interpretation that another person gave to it. A symbol is there to talk to your heart, not to your brains. Therefore, if a reader reads any book with his heart, he will understand what is behind the words and sentences.
What is “Omen” exactly?
Omen = a sign of what is going to happen in the future [I am glad my daughter has installed in my lap-top the Oxford Advanced Genie -dictionary].
Omens, oracles, destiny, karma,τύχη, ειμαρμένη, πεπρωμένο..Our logical mind tries to explain them, but life is a mystery and belongs to the Divine Sphere. If our heart would be our guide , we wouldnt end up trying to figure out omens and signs and questioning ourselves if something we come across is a sign, or if the universe tries to tell us something, etc..the answer and every answer lies within…if only we entrusted ourselves to out Heart.. for she knows the way..We live in a world where heart and feelings come second, putting forward logic, common sense, and giving up our dreams..
And we betray our hearts…our precious hearts…

We use brain to read a book, though indeed it may talk to our heart.
As for the symbols, they touch heart but also brain. Heart for the gratitude and brain for the sense we can find in it, to go forward. The middle path again.
Symbols are keys. But that’s true I’m not sure we need brain to find the door to unlock.
