Today’s Question by Aart Hilal

There are numbers of people who believe that “by telling other people to have faith in their dreams will get people tied up to romantic imagination and overlook the true factors of life.” How do you feel about this idea?

What do they mean by true factors of life? I would like to quote John Lennon: “life is what happens when you are busy making plans”

So true, without dreams life becomes grey and empty.

Absolutely, Life is made up of moments, it is up to us how we use these precious measurements of time. If we live life with all our senses sharpened, then we won’t miss a single one. Living our dreams is romantic, when we listen to our hearts and hear the sound of Love.

We all have trouble living in the ‘here’ and ‘now’. It can be done, but is much harder than letting our thoughts drift to imaginary situations which we further imagine to be in ‘the future’ - which doesn’t actually exist anyway. Reason that its harder to be here now is simply - we’re not used to it. Aart, I assume ‘true factors of life’ is the present. In the end, looking to the future as romantic imagination or just careful planning is subjective to the individual’s such and such.. My 2 cents..

And what do they mean by “overlook”?
“Overlook”, like seeing from above. Like overlooking could be a danger for living.
Over, like something that has an end. So where the sight is touching an end.

We have good interest in learning from animals attitude. Through all the elements, not only on earth, by the ground.
Though, even with the feet on the ground, most of us are not really entering deep in the ground, nor into the air.
The surface is chosen, getting fear to discover what is behind the curtain. The surface, or spending time in illusion of controlling the whole.

For some people, love is so equivocal as evil. So if you are too much in love, you’re, in a way, as suspicious as a mean person. Out of some great gifts, that blindness “becomes a curse”.
But each one has his own rythm.

    Life without dreams is like:

Eating without tasting or loving without feeling or drinking without fulfilling your thirst!!

The first step towards “Achieving” is “Dreaming”. Believing in the dreams may take us to the world of imaginations overlooking the so called true factors. But at times this passion becomes necessary for achieving the ultimate goal. I would like to share example of a Indian Classical Dancer, who lost a leg in an accident. But she believed so much in her dream to become a dancer, that she overlooked the true factor that she did not have one leg. This pasion only helped her dance as efficiently with the artificial leg as other dancers. Imagine if she would have remembred her loss all the time, not believing in her dream, was this achievement possible?
    Warm regards,
