Guy Debord wrote a peculiar beautiful book about.
Something's special is happening when people are suddendly front to a lens. It changes the perception they have about themselves.
Taking a shot is like giving to life another sight it could have occured without the eye of a photographer.
But most of all, being a photographer lead to immortalize things that stays out of a sight for a while. Or dead persons that are still alive, thanks to the picture. It developps “souvenir” feelings. As good as bad.

Also, a photography permits to the invisible world to appear and, or shows us a face, a sign, a guidance. A step in another dimension, without our eye could see it. Cause our eye is not able to see all the resuts before they arrive. As a photographer reacts under an impressive moment. He usually react to beauty, or impact the shot could offer, and has no time to write an explanation before clicking the button. Afterwards, the object taken is not the only one that touches the looker.
A photographer knows he never merely shot what he intended to. As in life, the Great Spirit has a word to say.

Thanks you for sharing this Paulo! This is my true passion – photography… When I take pictures I feel alive and my soul soars. It’s good to see someone who’s made something of their dream and this is where I hope to be one day. Right now I just do it in my spare time but I’m determined to make it a full time occupation. My dream would be to be able to inspire people through my photos like you inspire them with your books… And just like you’ve shared your books with me, I’d like to share my gallery with you. :) http://vania737.deviantart.com/gallery/

Love and light,
Vanya
