Well, I do not think fear have to go hand in hand with risk, at least not always. With every single decision we make inevitably we are changing course of our life. I like this quotation written by E.M.Forster:

" Every little trifle, for some reason, does seem incalculably important today, and when you say of a thing that "nothing hangs on it" it sounds like blasphemy. There's never any knowing - how am I to put it?- which of our actions, which of our idlenesses won't have things hanging on it forever."

I already have regrets for not taking risk in the past and I shall do my best to deal with fear in future, not to stop me where action is needed

But it is better to feel fear while taking a chance or a hughe risk than feel sorry after taking no risk and keep your whole life - or at least a good part of it - wondering how would it be if...

Take a risk with feeling fear is really a good way to fight each day as a warrior of the light knowing that you have always the best light on you: God!!!

Blessings to you all!!

What is difficult is not knowing if we are doing the right thing. Who decides what is right or wrong? I am reminded of a video I saw of a little boy of about 6 whose arm was crushed by a truck, because he was accused of stealing. If those who make the rules are wrong, then what is right? How can we judge for ourselves, when so much is at stake?

Fear is derived from not knowing exactly what is about to happen. Even if experience dictates that one particular result almost always occurs after a particular action, fear comes from knowing that there is a possibility that result might not happen this time around.

That way of thinking is what traps people in choosing paths which they consider "safe", (i.e. has a lower probability of rendering you at an economic disadvantage or making you fall out of favor with family and friends) at the expense of their own personal fulfillment and happiness.

Life cannot be lived to the fullest if we are trapped by this way of thinking. Ask for God's guidance every day of your life and pay heed to the signs and messages He gives you through people, events and even in dreams. Trust that if you have fully put God at the helm of your life that you will eventually get on the path towards your true life purpose and meet the people who will help get you there. This means swallowing your fear and trusting in the Unknown.

Some of the most memorable persons in history have deviated from the "safe" path and followed their true destinies and left unforgettable imprints in this world. We should do the same.

I think that the shift that Pepper speaks of comes from the actual process of making a choice and then the movement which follows. It's ok to feel the fear when you begin movement in any direction on your path. Going forward means feeling the fear and moving ahead anyway. Then, if things are right and you are moving in the right direction, you'll have that sense of excitement, awe and fulfillment. I'm not saying that I've perfected this fully yet as it's an ongoing process...I am continuously stretching to become brave. One of my mantras during this past year was: Be brave. Be bold. Believe.
