In this case the title of the newsletter is not right. Since in the previous Warrior of Light Online I said refused to write about the reasons why men love woman (I would be considered a male chauvinist South-American writer who despises the liberation movement of the opposite sex), a reader called Julia decided to do it for me. So now we have the feminine version of why we love women. Of course, I don’t agree with everything, but this is a (relatively) free tribune. Let’s see what Julia has to tell us:
We men love women because they still feel they are adolescents even after they grow old.
Because they smile every time they pass a child.
Because they walk down the street erect, always looking straight ahead, never turning round to say thanks or return the smile or compliment we make when they pass by.
Because they are bold in bed, not because they have a perverse nature but because they want to please us.
Because they do everything necessary for the house to be tidy and perfect, and never expect any recognition for the work they have done.
Because they don’t read pornographic magazines.
Because they don’t complain about the sacrifices they make for the sake of the ideal of beauty, facing up to waxers, Botox injections and menacing machines in gyms.
Because they prefer to eat salads.
Because they draw and paint their faces with the same concentration as Michelangelo working on the Sistine Chapel.
Because if they want to know something about their own appearance, they ask other women and don’t bother us with this type of question.
Because they have their own ways of solving problems, which we never understand, and that makes us mad.
Because they feel compassion, and say “I love you” precisely when they are beginning to love us less, to make up for what we can feel and notice.
Because sometimes they complain about things that we feel too, such as colds and rheumatic pains, and then we understand that they are people just like us.
Because they write love stories.
Because while our armies invade other countries, they remain firm in their private and inexplicable war to put an end to all the cockroaches in the world.
Because they cry their eyes out when they hear the Rolling Stones singing “Angie”.
Because they are capable of going to work dressed like men, in their delicate little suits, whereas no man would ever dare go to work wearing a skirt.
Because in the movies – and only in the movies – they never take a shower before making love with their partners.
Because they always manage to find a convincing defect when we say that another woman is pretty, making us feel insecure about our taste.
Because they really take seriously everything that is happening in the private lives of celebrities.
Because they manage to fake orgasms with the same artistic quality as the most famous and talented of movie stars.
Because they just love exotic cocktails with different colors and delicate little ornaments, while we always have the same old whiskey.
Because they don’t waste hours thinking about how they are going to approach the pretty young man who has just come on the bus.
Because we came from them, will go back to them, and until that happens, live in orbit around the feminine body and soul.
And I would add: we men love them for being women. As simple as that.

reading this reminded me of something i ve read a long time ago.it s an interview with a former romanian tennis player, Ilie Nastase(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilie_N%C4%83stase),he is speaking about why he loves women and his wife.
i tried to translate this article as best as possible and i apologise for the mistakes…hope you`ll enjoy it as much as i did first time i`ve read it.
“Why he loves women?
First of all because i exist because of them!
Because there is nothing in the world you can compare with the soft touch of a worried mother
on the forehead of a giddy boy tormented by his tennis racket, too big and too heavy for the weight of Iliuta( Ilie)at 5-6y old.
Because they always remind me of the ice cream brought by my older sisters,to their little brother in hospital,
when i had my tonsils removed.
Because women gave me the first shiver of love who use to equal the winning of a long dreamed tennis tournament.Because they all loved me,and they haven`t been a few,the way you love an idol.
Because thousands of them used to shout my name and give me the confidence i can win any tournament as long as
they were in the stands.
Later,i loved an extraordinary woman who gifted me with a wonderful girl,called Nathalie,.. then another one who
gave me the opportunity to adopt the most beautiful children in the world,Nicky and Charlotte…and now, a woman who gave me something i never dreamed i will ever have again after so many lightning loves, a warm and sunny
(shiny) love like a day of spring and an angel called Alessia.
I love women because they know how to give us hope when there is none left, because they love us the way we are and they have superlative degrees of comparison only.
I love them because they lie to us beatiful that we are unique on earth.
I love women because they hold the secret of life,because they only know what it means to bring in the world
a soul who will later say the word “dad” and you will melt under the soft touch of a palm as small as a leaf.
I love the women because they are romantics and they see us as knights in shiny armours ready to save them,
although they are the ones who save us and give us a purpose in life.
I love the women because they need our love,the love we wouldn`t dare bring to surface if they wouldn`t ask for it.I love the women because they let us protect
them like some fine and fragile porcelains, but they are made from the toughest steel that would never bend if they
have to protect their love.
I love women because they teach us the word “home” and they fill our life and time with the happiness and joy of a
home.
I love women because they are near us when we are sick and they make peace in the universe for us to rest.
I love the woman that made me forget all women.

We men love women because they become a “mommy” not only for our kids but for us grown up men too, and we love to be back in our childhood, because we miss the days when there were no responsibilities…
in mathematical terms – because they want someone who is going to understand the other side of the equation

and you also strange to know that word “LOVE” about which we all noted over here and feel according to us is itself a FEMININE. LOVE is the concept of women. They are said as the incarnation of love.
Sometimes I also imagine what would happen if there is all man, sounds little disgusting. ya its real, NO WOMEN, NO WORLD. see the relationship w for world and w for women.

We believe in Men because we love them…..and its beyond our imagination as to why a guy should not love us back when we are there always for them,when we are ready to accept as they come, when we are happy even by holding their hand, when what we ask for is only a hug.

Well why do men love women, do they?
yes they do.
Its only that they can’t express that.
when we smile their heart becomes jubilant. They like the way we dress,we put upon us those tonnes of lipstick, those uncomfortable hills & skirts. But we girls actually forget that they like those fashion dolls but they love us as we are, as real human beings. they love us as a mother, as a sister, as a beloved, as a life partners, as a friend and above all as their better half(ardhangini). A person who with no obligation, no demand be with them, when they need them most.who walks with them like their own shadow in pain and suffering, in disease and health, even in their life and after death. Loving women is quite natural of them yes if a person declares he do not love any women then really it will be surprising, and yes I am saying surprising not shocking, because being women one is above any expectation. Even against any expectation which is actually their right.
The woman, are truly the Mother of Mankind.
A benevolent woman may bring a Heaven on Earth into the men’s and the children’s life
Otherwise, a malevolent woman may create a Hell on Earth for the rest of their life. People said, ‘there is a wonder woman behind a superman’.
Because we believe in repair…

I think that every man just needs someone to take care of them, someone like their moms, that’s why they love us!
And we are ok with that :)

I truly agree with you… My wife doesn’t state any of your points but…
Every problem that I tell her, she gives a simple solution and one look in her eyes tell me that I have the strength to solve the issue…
Every moment I hold her in my arms, she sighs with a prayer to God to bring us close…
And her smile every time I give her a flower says it all…
Every occasion that I do something special for her however small a gesture, she cherishes it forever….
If I say “I Love You” she hugs me tight… If I say “I really do” she looks at me disapprovingly….
I tell her I’ll be late from office, she packs a extra lunch… I say thank You, she seals it with a kiss…
There is much more And for all this I love her…

I think this article is a little bit old fashioned. I do not agree on the part that it says that we clean the house and we do not expect a compliment or recognition. That is not true. In my case I do expect a little of consideration and hope that my husband tries to keep the house as clean as it is. I as a woman do not eat only salads, I love all kinds of food. I may not be perverse in bed, but I do love making love.(Not only to please my husband, but instead to please myself)
I think that men have alot to learn from women.
The most important things a men should know of a women are as follows:
1. We are of a sensible nature
2. We need to be loved with sweetness
3. Most women (even if they don’t say it) love flowers
4. If a man wants to make love, he needs to say sweet things
5. We love to be caressed
6. We love to feel like a princess
7. We can do anything for that special man
8. Give our life if possible for that true love

Men love no only women but the men too -just like the women love men also women.
All is about the desire and need to touch and to be touched ,to listen and to be listened -this is our basic deep instinct. . .
And if we choose woman or man -it depends of our sexual orientation.
All the reasons writen above are nice and funny -it was nice to read them but truth is much more simple and short -that´s all.
simply because a man is a child inside that needs nurturing that only a woman can give..
this is the true reason

The men love no only women but the men too – just like the women like no only men. All is about our desire and need to touch and be touched, to listen and to be listened .This need is so great that we are capable to close our eyes and to tolerate many defectes .
And if we decide to live with woman or man depend only to our sexual orientation.
All those reasons what were writen above are very nice and I´m sure they can have influence to our selection but the truth is more simple and short as that memorandum.
Paulo, I love your spirit, your sensitiviness and your intuition. I believe there is something called chemistry that works wonders when we are in love. Emotions is something we can not control cause they are from within and make us feel like flying once we got them for love. I agree with you. We love them for what they are;for what they can bring to our life and encourage us to make a difference in our life.
I’m not sure about this. I think men love women for the same reason that women love men, because ultimately we see in them the other half of our soul. A woman’s spirit/soul usually appears as male and vice versa; God is masculine/feminine united in love. At least, this is one way of defining God.

Lovely! Bits of everything but I can say Paulo loves (profoundly) women.
I am happy with all the statements written here, even if there are some of them with which I don’t identify myself with (in practice) but I have been there in my thoughts… which is pretty much the same thing, so I’m this woman that Paulo writes about and I am really proud of it!

Oh dear, I am laughing out loud!! This reminds me of an email that a male cousin sent along one day, about this very topic. I wrote back to ask if ‘the list’ was true. He was laughing himself silly, so then I knew there could be a grain of truth, but largely meant as humor. I might well be a North American female chauvanist – in overalls ; ) Love, Jane xo
