What he is talking about Is your new book Aleph.... I already thought that about people are no longer interested about religion. It's all over the world, espec. in Europe country, here In the Netherlands every week 1 or 2 churches closing down, I think you are right about personal faith '' means individualism '' ...We have our own choices, about what we want. I've been few religious trying to find the true religious matters, but lately I found out also more back to my roots as Catholic....as you are. It is not because I was reading u're books about The Alchemist, but what can say is about finding treasure faith, hope and love...but for me just extended wisdom and knowledge, I'm also not really believing in miracles but I believed that is God"s work...

Anything that people come up with are always subject to criticism. At least it proves that what we created is real and not just in our imagination.

I am very sad that there are still so many aparently intelligent people who are not open to accept that God might not be a male. This is a discriminating attitude.Think it start with the story of poor Eve that offered to Adam as desert at dinner,an apple.?Any man who study little customs, relligions, might notice that there are Godessess ,very important and powerful, almost in any period of time and in all world. That means is an item that repeats itself,so,maybe is myth, symbol living in the uncounscient. It is living, because in a moment,it had a powerful impact. There must be a good reason for that.Thank God there are people like Paulo Coelho, who has the courage to reconsider things,Bye

Religion is a rich political party that has an image of god as his running candidate.

"what matters now is personal faith".

Teaching has flown in our veins for centuries. It is like beating with our hearts, as an innate knowledge we could use whenever we want.
Faith is a sacred gift.
