My list is so simple:
* Mother
* Books
*Laptop & Net
*Someone to care about me
…It is so simple !!!!
[Reply]
My list is somehow radical, and I can do nothing about it.
I’m always listing what i would do (if i have the power) to make life worth living.. what myself really wants.. what my wildest dreams are.
If I was free to choose my fate, I would:
1- destroy mecca. And set obeying all the terroristic islamic muhammad teachings as a crime.
2- travel across the earth with a small bag for years.
3- meet different people from different countries.
4- Get in a close personal relationship with God.
5- find my true love.
6- marry.
7- settle in the someplace like US and have children.
8- determine my only profession as a writer.
9- serve my country.
10- love my children.
11- die.
So, my list begins with destroying islam, proceeds to finding “life”, love, and God, then marriage and children, then to die in peace.
Somehow radical, isn’t it? And as for my life in an islamic country seems unachievable.

I will try and complete the list.
This is the list of things that I don’t have.
1. a car
2. a driver’s license (this explains 1, or vice-versa)
3. a girlfriend
4. any kids (fine with this so far)
5. a place in the world where I want to live
6. clear goals
7. nice belts
8. enough will to start learning the languages I want to learn like french or italian
9. hope that everything will be better in the future (this might explain why I don’t want to have kids)
The list of things I don’t have has beaten the list of things I do have, I have been clearly unfair :) so I will fix that
Addition to previous list of things I have (so I don’t feel bad about it)
9. Enough time to do the things I want
10. a cute dog back at home, though several thousand km from here
11. best brother
12. some strange ability to maintain communication with ex girlfriends, some should not talk to me again
So the damage is fixed now.

My dearest Paulo Coelho and friends [especially ANNIE from ... Greece and Paul from Austria}, I am back home again and in front of my lap-top. I missed you so much. I searched, of course, in London [we were the ..proud parents, at our younger daughter's -28 years old- PH.D. of Law ceremony, at King's College London], for “the Maqus”, but I couldn’t find it. It seems that I will have to wait for the Greek translation, next year.?? I am also looking forward to the ..”Winner is alone..”[of course always the winners are alone, feeling the envy of the others]. But to be alone is the destiny of every soul on this Planet… Thank you, Samina for “Christian the lion”.
Lists : I like the lists for invitations to parties, to weddings, for the presents we have to buy… I hate my lists in my diary, every new year for the Bills and Taxes … LOVE, THELMA. P.s. Dear Paulo Coelho, I was amused at you saying that you look tired, because of the…light… I say the same thing, trying to ..forget me, getting old! Thelma.

My favourite list is the one I made when I was a child. It’s about the things I wanted to achieve in life.
It is my favourite list because now I am trying to accomplish most of what it sais. Some of it is of no importance for me anymore but it used to be so I’m doing it for her, the little girl I once was.
I think everyone should have a list of things they want to see accomplished in life - no matter what age you are - it gives you something to strive for.

When I have to looking for lists, I always try to found list with good books and dvds, in special for kids, because I am a mother (in the very first place). But the kind of lists I make are more like letters that I have to reply (or people who never write back, but I write few lines anyway because I understand their reasons to not write) and list of tasks for the week or next day (because I can’t even remember my full name after nine oçlock.
That’s all.

Dear Pablo,
You made me think today that I have ever wrote a list of the things I love since Junior high School 8 years ago. Its funny that you say that people like to make such lists.
My # 1 favorite is Siloe.
She is my niece, my daughtet in spirit, my godchild, and soon to be my adopted niece. My sister passed away 4 months ago and my parents and I are taking care of her. She is almost 3 years old in august 21 and we re raising her to be a good citizen a a great human being.
My Second # 1 Favorite is God and the virgin Mary.
They have given me light and calm when I am in a storm. I appreaciate deeply they way they communicate with me.
My # 2 favorite are my parents.
They love me unconditionally and care for me deeply not matter what I do. They are the best in the middle of theur mistakes.
My # 3 is myself.
I am exited to see me grow and achieve my goals and setting new ones. I love me and the life I have no matter what happens. I am passionate about the thing that I enjoy and love to see me succed.
I can keep going but no.
My # 4 are my real friend.
Without them I am lost. I am a woman and need to talk about my stuff. Debate about life and things that happen every day. They are my motor when I Dont have the strenght to run the show.
My # 5 will be my future husband.
I can much elaborate on this because I am not married yet nor engaded. But, I think i know who he is, not quite convinced. I will keep you post it on that.
Question: Do you think that when we meet the one, we know right away? or we need to take time to make this decision?
My # 6 is food, wine and Dessert.
I love it… I appreciate good food, good wine and good dessert.
My # 7 would be the green and humind forest.
Give me tranquility and peace.
My # 8 Would be to read.
Mostly books that help me grow and analize myself. That is why i Love Coelhos books. They have helped me when I had no guide. They helped to find me.
My # 9 Internet.
I love to communicate and know about the world.
My # 10 Travel…
I wish I could do it more often though. In coporate America is always dificult.
My # 11 is Writting.
Can you tell? :)
My # 12 is money.
Is helful when I need material things.
My # 13 is the movies.
Like to sit, relax and enjoy a good movie.
I think this list is too long and not enough time o finish it. but, pretty much the essential and things that matter are here.
Thank you.

i hav many things with me now………..my god{i always want to believe he’s mine}my mom my dad and my siblings…..yes my home……but i have never tried to list the things i realy need.do you know why? its just bcoz i hav never been away frm them.so i dont know whether i really need them or not.im just here ………enjoying every moment. but i never want to get rid of these joys tears funs and frolics perhaps frm my responsibilities.i always believe they need me………so im happy to be here.its really great to be loved by some…….to be wanted by some, right? its greatest to be in somebody else’s list. so i feel great when my daddy wants me to be near him, when my mamma says she misses me, when my little brothers ask help in their homework, when my friends telephone me for my support. i feel im the loveliest then.and only for these reasons , i believe im selfish. [.....selfish to be loved] and for including me in their lists, i love them all very dearly. and i list everything i love.
so my list is long and it begins with my god

I would request you Paulo, Please do not get directed by what people do in Internet but what you would like people to give from you using Internet.
To answer your question of making the favorite list. I would like to say that, there is nothing favorite for me and nothing not favorite for me. Because, Take an example of “food in front of you”. The food itself is not bad or good, it is our taste and feelings or behavior towards the food that gives an impression that it is bad or good.
I know every humans will have different list because the Difference always comes with the numbers. In the world where we should subtract the differences; we care multiplying it.
It is not good idea to sea in such a way. The taste of humans cannot be made common and none of “my interest” will match with “her interest” or “your interest”. Even if some of the things match others will remain as it is.
See one another example of your hands. A human has two hands and have you noticed that, in one hand there are 5 fingers. All these 5 fingers are different and they do not match. They are different. Today, the world has been divided just like those five fingers of a single human hand. But wait a moment, have you noticed the other hand ? There is another hand with the same types of 5 fingers and those look exactly the same as of the other hand with the 5 different fingers.
Now, if you see difference in each of them how would you be able to write, ride, play, pray, work and clap. Tell me. Please see the similarities and do not see any differences.
My own life, is solely based on the concept of seeing the similarities and not the differences in anything that my sense allow me.
If you ask me what is your favorite list I would not be able to see the difference and make a list but since I read all those comments and I too have to make one to see the similarities in what others are doing, here is what I would say-
“Earth”, “Satisfaction”, “Nature” and “Women”.
