Which Christmas souvenirs do you have from your childhood ?
Like any other child I always thought of Santa Claus and the gifts. But my family thought me about people that had less than me and to share my gifts (which back then I didn’t really like…)

Yes for me too, the souvenirs are the memories of sharing, and this ritual has remained with me always… in everything I do… anything is only worth half as much… if it not shared.

Joy is the word that spontaneously comes to me. It was time of socialist, though some use to say comunist, Yugoslavia and religion was not realy welcome, still whoever was not oportunist could celebrate Christmas. I still can smell candies and apples mixed with pine tree that we use to adobe only on the night before.
Joy on early morning Christmas Mass when we were given new shoes and dresses and coats for that year…
Joy going from neighbour to neighbour singing and having cake…
Joy of Christmas bells and no peterdes explosions….
Love, sharing, joy and sweet memories all in one word Christmas !
Love,

I love watching childrens faces on xmas mornings ,I am happy that my children love giving just as much as receiving, and thats important for them to feel joy when giving to others ..but its about spending time with the people you love I always think ,most of my xmas have been spent visiting and running all day to fit in seeing all my family -both sides ,and step parents etc..My friends would say” stay home ..dont go running around “but I knew I would not have them all for very long ,and so I made the most of it and enjoyed every single one ..memories I treasure alot -and you cannot wrap that up ..or give it away ,just be grateful .Blessings Tania
