I have a question.Picture is really beautifull. The breaking of the light through the darkness can only move me.My personal opinion is that today we have no more such artists, curing details and being able to transmit to others great feelings. We feel the beginning of the days, the remote time with sacred events. Now back on my naive question.I hear that God is Light.Than, why God had to create Light? Why was needed to create his own self?Sorry if I ask such silly thing.Bye

Nice to see that you like the drawings of Gustave Doré, dear Paulo. He’s one of my favorites… I’ve a very heavy bible on my bookshelf, illustrated by Doré.
Of course, all of your books are there too ☺ In dutch!

Nice greetings and thanks for all your good books.
Franc

represents the changing phase of environment around us…captured beautifully in this picture. Just like we have regular changes in moods and expressions. Earth does it this way with the help of geometric rotation around the sun :).

3 ¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 AV)

This picture reminds me of the Eclipse, how strange it must have been for the people years ago, when the sun, went out, to re-appear minutes later.

I saw the 1999 one, and even though I knew what was happening it was very eerie, and I was relieved when it was over.

There is something in words what cannot be visualized. And there is something else in visuals which cannot be expressed in words. This is a beautiful work of art, and thats all I can say of it. It is actually indescribable.

My dearest Agnieszka, so beutifully expressed… You made me think and feel quilty of complaining of trivial matters… We are shadows but with the Light in our souls. LOVE, THELMA

When there’s darkness around..you’re shaking..
you think..life has no sense..it’s breaking..
….
there’s this light that shines…in your heart..

Why is it that some pictures move you and others, which could be perfectly drawn, don’t. The artist must capture some essence or soul expression.
