Quote of the Day

By Paulo Coelho

And each man kills the thing he loves,
By all let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword.
(The Valkyries)

i dont know how but you always seem to put specific quotes on the right time..for me.. thank you for this reminder..sometimes i need to be woken up …and stop raizing the hand against ourselves…
    Love and Graditude

Yes dear Annie, we are often our own and very worst enemy… but don’t be hard on yourself for there are so many others who are capable of doing that for you… unfortunately…

… it is an interesting phenomenon, that we are capable of really hurting ourselves and often because we feel the pain and the guilt of others…

    Love, don’t hurt yourself, Paul

That ‘killing’look, the ‘flattering words’, the..’poisonous kisses’! This is..Man’s love. This is.. possession… True love is freedom. We, the Warriors of Light, are in need of Uranian Love. Love and soul need all the elements, in order to flourish. Protect yourself, my dearest Annie, thinking/imagining yourself in a white light! This is magic! Bad thoughts, influences or envy will not be able to reach you. I am sending you and Paulo and Paul and everydody my…white blessings. LOVE, THELMA

    Yes..
and so true what you both, dear Paul and Thelma wrote..
and yes…true love is freedom… free to fly, to reach the stars, to touch the sky…
Thank you so much for the blessing dear Thelma.
    love
    Agnieszka

I’m just starting to read this book, I’m curious to know how it ends. These words are so true and I wonder how do we really break the pact we made that leads us to kill everything we love? Is there a specific moment we did this? I feel I’ve made this pact so many times I can’t even count…

  6. 6 Paul from Austria

    Dear Rabsaris,
as Agnieszka & Thelma said, love flies, love is free & love is… we cannot cage it up for ourselves, that just doesn’t work.

Actually it is impossible to kill everything around us, because everything around us is love, and you cannot kill love. Those who try will not succeed, love always wins… and the winner is always alone…;) right Paulo?

So to answer your question dear Rabsaris, I think we break the pact, (which can only be with ourselves) by simply listening to our hearts and letting love fly… right through… and out the other side ;) I think the crucial word here is “possession” we do not and cannot possess those whom we love and certainly not love itself. By setting it free or rather allowing it to simply touch our hearts, we automatically disarm any attempts to kill or capture it.

Love, & and Free Free set them Free (STING), Paul

My dearest friends, Paul and Thelma, you re like my two shining stars in the sky..love you..
the truth is i have dwelled on this thought for a while..
i ve come up with the fact that there are 2 true guiding forcies..love and fear..and 2 motives…love and fear…the one doesnt meet the other…love is avobe
    and fear is underneath..
men dont always understand the motives of their actions..so we cant really accuse somebody when he is in fear, because he may not know he is in fear..and so he may act in a way that might hurt himself or others..

maybe that is why parents -from fear- dont let their children be who they really are…and so physical/phychological abuse starts..
    and fear generates hate…
so then parents cant really say that they love their children, because (they dont let them be who they are and )their children are not who they really are..

So i believe that the only way that we can shield ourselves is through Love..not through Fear..Fear doesnt lest us Love…
but through Love..loving ourselves as we would with our children

Thank you all for being..really needed to say this
    Love and Graditude

  9. 9 Rabsaris

    …and true love never dies.

  11. 11 Agnieszka

    Dear Alexandra,

I was asking myself the same question many, many times and I think there can be many reasons, like fear, sacrifice, etc..,but you know what, I also think that if something is meant to be then it’ll happen, you can and should fight for it, yes, but if it doesn’t come to you then maybe it wasn’t supposed to.
Everything is in the hands of God, anyway; who knows, maybe the defeat will make us better.
Sometimes when we lose, we actually win. (I’ve heard it somewhere)

    love
    Agnieszka

“It is not true! God’s kindly earth
    Is kindlier than men know,
And the red rose would but blow more red,
    The white rose whiter blow

Out of his mouth a red, red rose!
Out of his heart a white!
For who can say by what strange way,
Christ brings his will to light”.

Oscar Wilde: The Ballad of Reading Gaol

    A poem about forgiveness.

  13. 13 Tania

You cannot kill love as it lives everywhere in smell ,touch ,sight and sound and of course taste ,our hearts only want to wear it all over ..and soar with it till we reach all of the rainbows ,rivers -mountains and loving free because it wants to be ..Blessings Tania

  14. 14 THELMA

Dear Alexandra, I think that ‘man kills’ because he is so possesive and selfish and he wants to hold in his ..palm, sealed, LOVE. But Love is like… water and fire and air and sand, we cannot keep it prisoner. We do not belong to anyone. Our souls are free and our light is always in search for its source. LOVE,THELMA
