Back to the Past IV

Of course, nothing happened as we expected. Probably the moon may take long to reach the Seventh House, and Jupiter will wait for ages to aligns with Mars. But it was so good to have a dream!

The dream is still alive, of course. Not the dream we had when we were hippies, but a different kind of dream: now we know that, regardless on how the planets behave, we can make a lot of difference. As Harriet du Autremont said: “No vision and you perish; No Ideal, and you’re lost. Your heart must ever cherish some faith at any cost. Some hope, some dream to cling to, some rainbow in the sky, some melody to sing to, Some service that is high.”

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golding living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revalation
And the mind’s true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golding living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revalation
And the mind’s true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Oh, dear Paul from Austria, Aquarius, my husband’s sign, too! The dreamers, the ‘liviing in the future’, always..absent minded, the distant people, the child-like soul, but at the same time the..foxy mind. God bless you, all Aquarius, I learnt how to …stand on my ..own feet.
HAIR, the musical. I have never seen it but heard some songs and felt the ..influence, here in Cyprus. I loved the …long hair and of course the ‘campana trousers’and the ‘mini skirts’. Every week, shorter and shorter, and we were young and beautiful and optimistic and revolutionists, just for the sake of ..change and breaking the rules. Dear Paulo Coelho, I think, we have done ..well. Puritanism and secrecy, have given their place to freedom of thought and speech. ‘Make love not war’ was the motto. LOVE, THELMA

    Hi Paulo,
In 1996 I wrote the words of this song in my diary and took a journey in search of healing.
In May 2008, I opened that same diary and found the words of this song again.
So I decided to take another journey.
Am I healed? Has the age of Aquarius come?
    YES.
Healing is a quantum shift in our souls. Imperceptible at first, but it is there.
The Dawn always starts with a faint, fragile dim light that seems to take forever to gain any intensity.
But then suddenly - the light comes.
    So it is with us.
New Dawn for all of us.
    Blessings everyone.
    Karen.

I saw Hair together with a gang of the coolest teens in town. We owned the theater, and I felt on top of the world watching this wonderful movie. Aquarius is in the past. The memories comes back with the help of your clip, and sometimes playing the record. Thanks.

I’m really young so I haven’t seen this movie yet but I’m definitely going to rent it. However I know this song really well because my mother is from that time and she used to play this song all the time and I love it…
