In the past I did enjoy a few vernisages, including the champagne. Imagine if for one year we could travel to famous galleries and hang out with famous artists. My number one choice for the first visit would be to go to France to see the Chagall museum. I absolutely adore his paintings. You present a lot of art here completely unfamiliar to me. Fascinating to go where I normally wouldn’t. The one I’ve enjoyed mostly so far, was the “pieta” you posted yesterday. Thanks again for everything you do for us.

Existem várias pirâmides espalhadas pelo planeta. Elas foram construídas ainda quando não haviam comunicações entre os continentes. Coincidência? Com certeza não! As pirâmides escondem segredos, que ainda não foram descobertos!

As a first glance, it may be a pilgrim salvation, off far impermanence of knowledge and its dangers.
Material world is dark, ruined and insecure; better to reach the celestial light.

I did not know that there was a Pyramid in Rome.. I have been there for ..two days, but there are so many monuments in Rome and so little time. The painting is very beautiful with the play of shadow and light. LOVE, THELMA
p.s. It seems that everybody is watching the Olympic Games.I am sure you know that the first woman ever stepped in the stadium in ancient Olympia was Kallipateira..Love,T.

I have visited the pyramids iytside Mexico City and Cairo. These left me with a sense of awe and upliftment! On the contrary, this image is filled with darkness and despair in my eyes. I feel uncomfortable with it’s sense of doom and darkness.
    Love.

Being an Egyptian increases my appreciation and respect to Pyramids. Every time I pass by the three great Giza Pyramids I get enchanted. It always feels as if it is the first time to see the three them.

    Proud of my ancestors.

My dear Wanbliska, I seems that in France you have good reasons for celebrating…. “Saint Amour”. I thought, that Saint Valentine was the Saint for the lovers…

    Thank you Pandora and Thelma.

They are both sufferers. What are those good reasons you talk about? :)
February seems more to refer to fertility and marriage.

Dear Wanbliska I was ‘joking’about celebrating in France Saint Amour. We do not have either saints in Orthodox church, although commercially there is a big fuss every 14th of February. [I have a friend from the school living in Paris. She is an Opera singer. Her name is Alexadra Papajiakou and has also being honoured, like you Paulo Coelho, by the french goverment. Cyprien Katsaris is also half Cypriot. He is the pianist to give a concert at the Olympic games].
Dear Ahmed Wagih -Egypt,we are neibours. I have been to the Pyramids 50 years ago, with my parents. I must visit it once again since it is so near…
    LOVE, Thelma

Thanks Ahmed, I will take you up on your offer one day.

    Much appreciated.

Pyramides remindes me of the mistery of the numbers, the whole structure is based on mathematic ,and symbolise on my opinion an universe in miniature.

  19. 19 Sophian

    Dear Thelma,

Yes, what a fuss! Generally, I consider it is ridiculous to congatulate a day for someone or something, as we are supposed to embrace the whole at each second.

I didn’t watch the Olympic games once. Boycott? No, I don’t think so. Better to say, it is not yet the day.

In real the 14th celebrates love and mother, I believe.
    Love to you.

    Dear Ahmed

Who knows? You maybe one day see us coming! ;)
Thank you. And love to you too.
