Quote of the Day

By Paulo Coelho

Profound commitment to a dream does not confine or constrain: it liberates. Even a difficult, winding path can lead to your goal if you follow to the end.

The more difficult and winding the path… the more Gems to be harvested on the way…

    Love, Paul

    even difficult too:
see the end of the way when you make the first step…
then you need a storm into your bag to fly over all those mountains….
but for love? you will do it…
or you will fight and change those mountains into sand… ;-)

Yes….the view can be amazing, yet when we cannot see how high is the mountain and the weather is unknown, we often choose to enjoy the sunny valley full of tranquility and peace.
Not every mountain can be climbed; sometimes it is humble and wise to watch it from the bottom and… dream.

Every man must have goals. Without goals, you can not do anything, you don’t know what to do.
I have many goals, I have some ambition, and I hope I will do it.

Today I am in a pessimistic mood. I hope I will not …poison you!!
At this stage of my life, I will just say the words of the Greek writer and philosopher Nicos Kazantzakis [everybody knows 'Alexis Zorbas, the Greek']:

    “I hope for nothing”
    “I fear nothing”
    ” I am free”

    LOVE, THELMA

When you want something very much you don’t let it go.So yes a dream can liberate you because in order to achieve it you forget your fears, the difficulties, the failures, the disappointments you may have. You are free to follow your path!!!
    Love,
    Lia

  13. 13 wanbliska

    Yes, it liberates.

Sometimes bad old mechanisms could perturb the manner we have to listen and evoluate.
But commitment with Our dream is a kind of magic feeling. It calms, and makes us invincible.

    Dear Navnit,

“Dreams are not goals…..Dreams which can be achieved are not the Dreams.”

You are maybe right: Dreams are the suppers of our goals. They feed us for we could go forward on our way.
Dreams are the divine end, though goals are the steps we climb gradually on the scale of our fights.

Though if we never succeed to reach the top, we’ll have to return and begin again.
And no one could be blamed for being a dreamer during the path; The time it would have been watered by Love.

Everything could be hard ,at least in the beginning. But with the effort, come the result also, even if after some time.

A profound commitment to a dream can be hindered by the necessity to be a responsible partner or parent…? As I have said before, no one should suffer on the path to my dream…

    Love, Paul

  17. 17 THELMA

My dearest friends, thank you so much for being there. Thank you Agnieszka for the video and Annie, Wanbliska, Lia, Aditya, Paul from Austria and our dearest Paulo Coelho.
Sometimes a smell, a sound, a thought, may make us sad, without consciously knowing the reason… Sleep is my ‘medicine’! Then Angles come and ‘heal’ us and of course, your ‘loving thoughts and wishes’.
    LOVE, THELMA
