    found this out:

In Greek mythology, Artemis [(Greek: (nominative) Ἄρτεμις, (genitive) Ἀρτέμιδος)] was the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of forests, hills, virginity/fertility, and the hunt and was often depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows.[1] The deer and the cypress were sacred to her. In later, Hellenistic times she even assumed the ancient role of Eileithyia in aiding childbirth.

Artemis was one of the most widely venerated of the gods and one of the oldest (Burkert 1985, 149). Her later association with the moon is a popular idea which has little foundation. She later became identified with Selene,[2] a Titaness who was a Greek moon goddess, and she was sometimes depicted with a crescent moon above her head. She also became identified with the Roman goddess Diana[3] and with the Etruscan goddess, Artume. [4]

    Peace

Artemis was the only one Goddess, who was not..influenced by Aphrodite!!! I like her Roman name, Diana…
It seems that …Greek Gods were behaving like ..spoilt humans..Always quarreling, envious, being in love, bringing havoc, disaster, but also appearing last minute to change the destinies of people..
    LOVE, Thelma

She is Artemis, the virgin goddess of hunting. she is also associated with the moon. she is a representation of a woman warrior and fighter, is independent and knows what he wants from life.
She guides his people to honor as Mother Nature, get food and receive the blessings of the earth.
She’s guide and protector, is free and owns, is representative of the power of femininity and strength over land
I’ve always liked the Greek Mythology.

Thank you Paul from Austria, Nia Wind, THELMA, luce, Annie, osvaldo godoy ventaja, Anneliese Flores Clar, y Paulo coelho.

I just remark, She is depicted with no bow. But that the horns could represent it.
Deer holds a holy place in celtic mythology. But also greek and roman one.

    Gratefully.
