  • Dear Paulo,
Your newsletter 179 will travel in my mind as I go about my life routine today… I love to
have a focused spiritual thought to carry with me.
For me having faith is why and how I get up every morning and give thanks for the new day and all its challenge before it all begins.
Faith was inside my essential self since conception…Faith is love. It needs to be nurtured and aknowledged…which I will do today! Thank you

As I see Faith it is the spiritual knowing that grows in us from lived experience as we learn to follow our higher Nature, the Divine in us.

  • Thanks a lot .I need sometime that somebody remind me the important things.I really agree on the idea that true Faith might give people extreme power, and that we do not learned yet how to find it ,oe use it.Sometime,in my life,if I remember that and believe it,very good things happened. But as I start losing Faith,or not believing with whole heart, things did not happened.I try to stay in touch with people like you that are able to keep Faith in my mind.Bye,Love

  • Here is another definition of faith. Faith is a mind that opposes the perception of fault in it’s object. There are three different types of faith: believing faith for example when we believe that compassionate person can transform the world; admiring faith when by recognizing good qualities of compassionate person we develop admiration and respect for them and our mind is free from any negative thoughts towards them; and wishing faith, when on the basis of admiring faith we develop a wish to cultivate within ourself compassion. It looks to me that the first step to developing faith is recognizing good qualities of someone or something.
Faith is so essential, all our spiritual experiences are pervaded by faith. Without it everything remains mundane and ordinary.

  • someone told me once :

if we search for love we will not find it, if we don’t search we will find it because it’s everywhere.

  • Faith is a gift from God, so nobody can be blamed for not having it. Even the big saints lived with serious doubts and didn’t believe strongly all the time.

  • Dear Anne, if you click on the latest WOL Newsletter no. 179, you will then see a window to the right headed “Texts”. Schroll down until you find the 7 deadly sins. (each is a separate issue)

    Example:http://paulocoelhoblog.com/warrioroflight/28.03.2007/issue-n°143-seventh-deadly-sin-sloth/

    I hope this helps. Enjoy…

    Love, Paul

  • “We are what we think. Your imagination can do more harm than your worst enemy”

So true, therefore is Faith… truly the most powerful of virtues…

    Love & Faith, Paul

  • Dear Paulo

I missed the editions on the sins – can you let me know what they are. Thank you so much. Anne.
PS had a discussion with someone on ‘what is the worst sin’ – quite interesting – what do you think it is?
