no its not necessary to renounce other beliefs but to stick to one act or belief that u think is most ryt! because even in believing in yourself there must be a single path or belief that you have to follow…
besides, it is a difficult task to be determined to yourself. And the one who achieves this way of living, has won the easiest way to live the life.

Hard to believe in one s self when others dont believe in you. we need others to exist and to boost our confidence. And believing in ourselves is a long-drawn-out exercise and training.

i dont know much about anythin but i do know ppl everwhere believe in one thing LOVE n if we startin there we must recognize the existence of a superior force in this universe capable to create such a thing in its pure state…
n answerin the question i think we dont have to exclude other beliefs in order to reaffirm ourselves cause is exactly for those things we believe we r who we r…

believe in yourself…4 little words in a big meaning..really believing in yourself is an important base to start the trip of adventurous life.. to be opened in ur ambitions..BUT..in order to believe in ouwerselves we must build a solid base to start from…it takes time:it will pains us when we feel sometimes lost we don;t know who we are and how do we think..after all that’s us we know who we are.. we believe in ourself..really you can’t tast sweet things without tasting the bitter taste …AND the most imporant starting is to believe in the power of god
your source of power and comfidence…and don’t forget the law of attraction:plant the postive things in your soul and your mind to believe stronger in yourselve.

In order to believe in One’self, first I have to love me first. I have to love who I am and what am worth. I personally don’t think that you have to renounce to all that you trully belive in. Except for all those thoughts or negative belives that at whatever point bring you down. To be able to truly belive in yourself you got to be brave, you got to be Confident. Courages enought to over come whatever comes your way and have the certainty that you can do it. That you are not to give up,but to move forward, with determination and persistance. :P

so to answer this question, my personal answer is NO. not all. Because not all in what we believe in is all bad. I will say if we were to empty or renounce of anything, will
only be the Negative aspects of what makes us not to believe, I am refering to all those Negative impulses that makes us doubt of who we are and derail us of what truly makes us happy and what we want to persue.

And once we get rid of all those negative thoughts we shall replace them with happy, positive thoughts, ideas that will give us hope, that will fill our hearts with courage and more belief. With more love and positivity so that we can built a better inner self and that way we can believe in ourselves even more to continue with a rightfull path. That of a True warrior.

I hear John Lennon’s GOD often whenever I feel things aren’t happening my way. I let out some steam by rambling on and on where it went wrong and decry someone’s else action for that. The Beatles legend’s solo number then inspires me to be defensive and make me feel I alone is important, nobody else.

But then I realise that is Lennon’s reality which made him disbelieve everything but himself and Yoko, not mine.It’s just my perception not my reality. My reality is something else. I only human like others and prone to go wrong at any point in time. Therefore,I ought to take responsibility for my own actions, good or bad. I have to believe I am equally capable of both good and bad as i am not perfect. My ego may take over my belief but succumbing to it means I am vulnerable and insecure like anybody; I am not special to put myself above the rest. But yes, I should be insightful to see myself in the right perspective and accept my reality which I feel specially designed for me. If I accept this one BELIEF…I am sure I will grow over all my impossible fears in life.

Belive in yourself- is mean be live in your self: try to live and be alive in every second of your thought. Notice to every emotion, thought, desire, etc. carefully, peacefully. Thats help to understand better yourself. Is a way to bring alltogether your positive energy or emotion or power or as you so called it.
Is a little path that comes inside for changening whole around.

Belief is not a seperate thing, believing in so many things make our personality, Say God, loyalty to our religion, loyalty to our parents, duty to the society, serving the needful, mutual help etc.

When we die, we lough (because our life test was finished, time to arrive the other side) the other people cry.
So, if you feel lonely while being in a relationship, first of all its name is not relationship. The relationship

Believing in your self when no one else believes you is a beautiful thing. But when everyone believes you and you don’t have the courage to believe in your self,your dead.Believing in your self too much is another thing; it can swallow you.

Sometimes, it’s too hard to believe in your self when no one else does; but if you want others to believe you, you have to take the first step and show them what you’ve got.

I don’t know what is believing in myself means. I don’t think that a common has any dream at all. He just lives the day as it comes. He might be having small dreams like earning enough to have a home and food and other necessary things in life. For eg. I am a working single woman. What could be my dreams? infact there are many.. like I want to learn dance and become a great dancer or I want to write a book, I have started writing a story but could not complete. I wanted to start some business but I don’t have any fix idea..I don’t know what is my life’s goal is. so how can believing in myself help me?

when you are in a situation where you are experiencing the feelings of suicide,the bleakness of searching every corner of your own psyche and soul;you really are in no other position, these feelings will not go away for days on end, to the point that you are there to confront your deepest inner belief systems because that is when you have the realisation that if at that extremely difficult moment,your choice to believe in God,The Creator of All That Is can save your life; I can 100% confirm through my own personal experience that yes this will stop you from committing the most inhuman act of suicide; well that is being human.We are all here to believe when it really matters.Faith is not necessarily about religion it is however the discipline behind the action that does make those feelings of bleakness go away eventually and that is true healing.

believing in yourself is even a perception but not a reality. its a switch of mind that can be guided to believe yourself or don’t believe at all. more than this perception, that important thing is the reasons to support your decision of switching your mind to believe yourself or not.

different people can have different reasons to believe in themself to attempt something, regardless of the authenticity of their attempt.

since you have tagged your post with GOD, BELIEVE so my reply is that YES, it is very important to believe in God to strengthen your belief in yourself. The relationship between Man and God is a kind of relationship that the more you practice it the more it helps you to strengthen your belief in yourself and explore your capabilities.
